GRC 10 - request not able to go to next stage

Dear Expert ,
Getting very strange behaviour from MSMP workflow . Request is able to pick right path reaches first stage (Line manager) without any problem . But when line approver approves it ,its not going to next stage i.e role owner .
Getting error messge " Error when trying to complete/forward work item xxx" .
I have already checked WF-Batch user permisison ,its fine .I am SP07.

How to resolve this IOS 8.3 update/restore error : RamrodErrorDomain error 1004 - update_baseband: failed to perform next stage

Yesterday, I encountered failed update from IOS 8.2 to IOS 8.3 on my ipad mini (model:A1455). Have tried several attempts but still getting below error on the time update/recover was almost done, thus, stucking my device on recovery mode

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

CUP 5.3 SP9 Forwarded requests not moving to next stage

CUP 5.3 sp9 - The administrator forwarded a request (first stage mgr approval) to another person (the forward return box was checked). The person that the request was forwarded to got the message (no content in the email, just a link) and was able to approve. The original person also got an email with a link, and was able to see that the request was approved.
The request is stuck in the mgr approval stage, it did not move out of the original person's inbox. the audit trail is below:
1. Request 46 submitted by WZ8Y84 on 4/30/2010 <time>
2. Forwarded by Administrator on 04/30/2010 <time> on behalf of FZ62V1 to forward approver RZW8G8 with return
3. Request approved by RZW8G8 on behalf of FZ62V1 on 04/30/2010 <time>
When you look at the request, it is still in the original approver stage, was not moved to the next stage. Any ideas on why it works this way?

When you forward a request, you need to choose 'Forward with Return' and 'Forward with No Return'. In this case, the approver selected 'Forward with Return' so the request will get approved but will come back to the original approver who forwarded the request.

Requests that are forwarded to another approver are not going to next stage

We are having an issue with AE 5.2 with Forwarded requests. When requests are forwarded to another approver and this person then approves the requests, they are not going on to the next stage in our workflow. We have the Forward Type option set to 'Any one Approver' for the workflow stage. Have also tried forwarding the requests with both the Forward With No Return and Forward With Return options.
The approver that is receiving these Forwards is not listed as one of the approvers for the role in the request. Is this the issue, are we not using the Forward process correctly, or is this a bug in AE 5.2. (I think we are currently on SP 9 of GRC 5.2.)

Hi Bob,
I am running AE 5.2 but do not use the "forward" feature. For request that require "role approvers" I have set up a seperate initiaor that includes the additional Stage for Role approval.
I have initiators for 1) New User w/ no role approval 2) New User w/ role approval 3) Change User w/ no role approval 4) Change User w/ no role approval
My "no role approvals" go through three stages 1) security initial review 2) Internal Control review 3) Final security provisioning; my "role approvals" go through four stages 1) security initial review 2) Role Approval Stage 3) Internal Control review 3) Final security provisioning
If a request has roles that require approval and some that do not, the request will take the two seperate paths based on the roles defined for each; the provisoning will complete once both paths have completed all stages
This allows us to treat the role approval just like any stage with assigned approvers and if multiple approvers allow for any one approver to complete the stage
This is different from your approach of forwarding for role approval; I define the roles to the initialtors that require role approval, but gives you another perspective of doing it

Since updating my phone 4s with 6.1.1 I tunes still sees my phone as a new phone despite having successfully restored it with my old stored data; means I cannot progress to the next stage i.e. I cannot synch to my Mac

Since updating my phone 4s with 6.1.1 I tunes still sees my phone as a new phone despite having successfully restored it with my old stored data; ( I have done this twice) -means I cannot progress to the next stage i.e. I cannot synch to my Mac. My phone memory of 13GB was almost full before I updated and I get an error message when I try to restore with my original back up that there is insufficient memory for t his;it does restore ok with other back ups it offers which leave 1.5GB free on the phone but then I get the problem as above-I Tunes cannot get out of seeing my phone as a new phone and wanting me to restore again ie a loop and I cannot progress to the synch page

Advance to Next Stage with "Enter" keystroke

I have a project in Flash CS3 that has numerous Stages. At
the end of each Stage, I have the stop(); actionscript. I need to
also implement an advance to nextStage actionscript by just hitting
the "Enter" button on the keyboard. Can this be done, and if so
how? Thanks in advance.

Just a quick recall:
The sentence was
If I enter the SU in the confirmation stage all works fine. Instead if I enter SU in TO creation stage, system moves SU total quantity (instead of just required quantiy as in the MM movement that triggered TO) in the final storage type and no remaining quantity in the pick point storage type.
Any clue to enter storage unit in the TO creation stage?

I have had to restore my iPad and have just restored my back up...I'm going through the final stages of my appleid signin and when I put my password in it says "couldn't sign it..the certificate for this server is invalid. Wot can I do?

I'm on holiday in USA. I lucky have my computer to back up with, however I'm in a hotel using their server and the iPad message is saying I may be using a server pretending to be "setup.icloud.com" which could put my info at risk.
When I click ok...it won't allow me to go to the next stage. I can't go onto the web on iPad to confirm hotel server as I can't pass the setup on my iPad. Ay thoughts anyone please. I can't wait till I return to UK I need my iPad here.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost

Error While Promoting the Numbers to Next Level

We have hierarchy defined for entities in Hyperion and are using Phased submissions under Process control . We have all the immediate child entities at 'SUBMITTED' phase but when we are promoting the Parent entity to 'SUBMITTED' phase we are getting following error
"Cannot promote a process unit to a level higher than any of its direct dependents."
I know that a parent can be promoted only to a level that is less than or equal to the lowest level of its immediate children.
However we have few of the Entities which are at "NO ACCESS" stage or "Not Started" stage so if this affecting the Parent from promoting to next stage. But these entities are not started only and the Parent Entity has already been promoted from Not Started to "First Pass" stage that point of time no error crept in.
Please let me know the probable cause of the error.

I am a learner.
As per my Knowledge.
When we have issues about Phased Submission- Process Control there are certain things which are worth making note of.
1. Validation Accounts ,which might be preventing you from Promoting the Phase to the next level.
2.And Before promoting the submission group to the Next Phase, make sure all your child members have passed all the review levels to be promoted to next level
please check with experts if my reply is inappropriate.

Error in UME configuration stage

I am installing SAP Netweaver with EHP1 Java application server as a central system.But I am stuck at the step UME Configuration .In UME congigration phase I 'am selecting option USE ABAP (so that administrators can manage users with transaction SU01 ) rather than JAVA Database ( default ).
At the next step of installation ,it is asking for ABAP connection and J2EE engine connection parameters like instance Host,communication user,Administratoe user,guest user.So after providing all these details when Iclick on next button ,it doesn't move to next stage ,also not throw any error message.

Hi,
Here is your options:
1. Login to SAPEBSA1 with SAPJSF and password you provided in the SAPinst. If you are not able to login ... login with any other user like DDIC.
Change user type of SAPJSF to Dialog ( if user not exist then create user SAPJSF) and assign role 1. SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO and 2. SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION.
Once you are able to login, then change user type to system and then try to continue in SAPinst.

Problem in CUP workflow-Stage configuration

Dear all,
We are facing a problem in workflow path. The workflow for create user has got 2 stage approval. In the first stage the approval type is "All approver" and the CAD for this stage is defined on the basis of business process of the role. So if few roles are added to a user belonging to different business process, the request is forwarded to all the approvers of stage 1. However even if all the approvers of that stage has approved the request, but still the request is showing as "pending for other approvers" and not getting forwarded to the next stage. But if I change the configuration to "Any one approver", the request is forwarded to next stage after approval by any one approver.

Hi Nitin,
I guess you have made CAD on the basis of business process of role.
Check that one again that all approvers are approving the request.
if in the request has two role Role 1, Role2
Role 1 has Business Process BP1,
Role 2 has Business Process BP2.
BP1 in CAD has APP1, APP2 approvers
BP2 in CAD has APP3, APP4 approvers.
Then for that CAD stage with setting all approver's.
APP1, APP2, APP3, APP4 has to approve the request.
Please make sure all approvers are approving.
Also try to change the setting for Approval Level ( Role/Request ) in the stage.

Is it possible to bypass stages defined in Concurrent Request Set

Hi,
I have a concurrent request stages where there are multiple stages defined(corresponds same concurrent program with different parameter values) and this request is called from backend.
The way the stages are presently defined is on success,error & warning it will go to the next stage (e.g stage1 -> stage 2 -> stage3).
Now I have a requirement where based upon some condition, I would receive parameter values for stages. E.g I would received parameter for stage 1 to run and stage 3 to run and no parameter for stage2. In this case what I want is in the request set, stage 1 program will run and then stage 3 program will run bypassing the stage2 program as no parameter value received for stage 2 program.
Will there be any change required in the way the the link stages are defined or if there is any other way to accomplish the same.
Ultimate aim is that all the required stages(1,2,3......and so on w) will be defined but based upon the parameter value availability, corresponding stages will run like 1 then 3 then 5 and request set should complete.
I am assuming that its possible so I a trying for some workaround within PLSQL itself. Appreciate if any one can throw some light on this if clearing only the link stages could be a solution.

How long is the "Preparing for Shipment" stage?

I ordered my Macbook Pro with Retina Display 2.6 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD on August 1st. It changed from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment" today (the 5th) a couple hours ago. I am wondering how long this stage has lasted for people who already have their new Mac's. I got the expidited 2-3 business day shipping, and they estimate August 14-16. They took the money out of my account a day ago. I am thinking that I might get it quicker than anticipated if it is already on the next stage.

expect to recieve it between the quoted delivery dates, and be suprised if it arrives earlier. It's possible, but no one here can say for sure.

Stage Webview on new screen

I'm trying to get Stagewebview to show on a new stage when a button is clicked. Right now it just shows on the same stage becuase code is this.stage.
Also, when it shows up on the new page I want to have back button, forward, and refresh and I want it on the top and not taking alot of space and only on the screen where it's showing the web view.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!

as to be on a new stage , just add it to a diff frame in your porject.
so lets say you init iate the code in frame 3 , then create a button in frame 1 or any other frame so that when you click the button the stage webview will open in the other frame .
what so ever , dont use the code you have now . the code you provided is already scaled to fit elements on stage , you dont want that
use a simple web view code such as this .

where i marked numbers to scale make sure you do not scale the webview to fit the whole stage . you need an extra space to
create the bakc button . back button will be used for 2 things . one to remove/dispose the webview then navigate to which ever frame you want it to go to .
i used a function to do this . and you can just create a navigation function etc . for the same button.
