Next steps? I have been billed for a movie rental I did not make

The receipt is dated today and I have not used my Apple TV for a few weeks...
Has my account been hacked?
The email subject line is
"Your receipt No.13108704xxxx" (my x's) with the date stamp of
November 6, 2014 at 2:19 PM
WHat at are best next steps for me?

Is the email from Apple e.g. it's not a phishing attempt to try and get your account and payment details (there are a number of fake purchase emails doing the rounds) ? You can check your account's purchase history via your computer's iTunes : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support.
If it shows there and you didn't rent it, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and made it, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
