"next topic" in navagation bar

Hello,
     There are previous topic and next topic button in the navagation bar.
     When I click the "next topic" button , I want to go to the next topic in my help system (WebHelp Pro), but it does not work. Any suggestions?

Navagation bars

I'm putting together a site that will have 12 "chapters" and I want to create a navagation bar that will appear on each page, allowing the user to select any chapter from any page.
What I'd like to do is to use 12 thumbnail images with accompanying chapter titles.
I suppose I could create 24 text boxes, set them up as I want them, and insert photos and text, but this seems a bit cumbersome.
The other thing I want to do is create this in such a way that I can simply cut and paste the bar into each page of the site. It appears that as iWeb is set up, I would have to insert each link on each page individually.
(I am creating my own site as opposed to using any of the templates.)

I'm trying to figure out what you're doing that's different from what I did.
Here's what I did:
I created a text box big enough to hold everything I wanted to include.
Dragged a thumbnails into the box.
Created new text boxs and dragged them in next to the thumbnails.
Selected the big box, cut and pasted, only to find I had copied an empty box.
Meanwhile, a friend just brought up another problem with what I'm trying to do, which is create a nav bar I can paste into each page of my site. My friend isn't familiar with iWeb but says I can't do what I'm trying to do because the hyperlinks would have to be unique to each page of my site; that the hyper link from chapter 1 to chapter 3 would be different from the hyperlink from chapter 2 to chapter 3?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

As suggested make sure "cellular data" is ON and you have valid cellular data plan.
That "E" sign only shows the network (Edge) or 3G (if you are in the 3G network), but it has no relation to you not been able to make regular calls or sending regular texts with network signal (in the form of bars) being present.
Double check if you have credit in your phone (in case of pre-paid) or if you have reached your limit (in case of post-paid)

Does your boss have Siri turned ON? See Settings > General > Siri.

Can I add a button next to the location bar (just like the Home-button) that will open a new tab?

In Firefox 3 there was a button that would open a new tab. This button was next to my location bar (next to the home, refresh, etc buttons), and also usable when I didn't have any tabs open (unlike the + on the tabbar, which is only there when I turn on my tabbar).
Although there is a button I can add that will open a new window, I would like to know if it is possible to have similar button that will open a new tab.

There's a New Tab button in the Customize Palette, just move it to where you want it.

My firefox toolbar disappeared and I can't do what the solutions say because I don't have a back arrow, file button, tool button, bookmark button, help button, or navagation bar, so how do I get my toolbar back?

How do I restore my firefox toolbar? It was my main toolbar. My other one is google. And then another site tried to install a toolbar that I did not want. When I unchecked to get rid of it, apparently I unchecked the firefox toolbar by accident. I don't know if that's what happened for sure, but I'm guessing that's what happened.

How do I change the color of the area next to the Tab Bar

I've got Firefox 8.0, and ever since they went to the new layout I've had problems with the area at the right of the Tab Bar. When FF is maximized, the buttons up there ( > + ▼ X ) are black on a dark blue background, and I almost can't see them - so I never use it maximized.
How do I change the color, maybe back to the colors it uses when not maximized?

I got used to the tabs at the top -- and kinda prefer that look, but I'll try this for a while.
Is there any way to change the color of either the buttons or the background?

I cannot seem to add the search bar which should be located next to the address bar. it was removed when I updated one of the last times.

I have been trying to figure out why this search bar where you type in keywords for a google search had been removed during one of the beta updates, but this is quite annoying to not have.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Creating links in my navagation bar

Hey guys,
I have created a template page in dreamweaver cs4. I have made editable regions in my main content region and side bar. I also have a navigation bar under my header which I created in Photoshop which I sliced and brought in dreamweaver.
On my Nav bar I have four buttons which will be links. My problem is i want the current page indicated. Its my first time building and using a nav bar.
I have watched tutorials on Lynda.com and have watched template pages being created. In the tutorials a class of current was use to indicate the current page. Is this the same way that I should be doing it.

This arrow next to your Battery symbol at the top of your phone means you are playing some sort of music or sound.
To make sure you are not do the following:
Press your Home button twice quicky
You should now have a list of open apps. Hold down the App and press the red button. This does not delete the app but it closes it.
Once these steps are complete if the arrow is gone, you are all set!

Navigation bar is gone.Have it checked . still cannot get it back. So uninstalled 4.01 . got 5 .. still don't work . went back to 3.6 still gone . No address bar. don't have book marks either. Wish i can attach a print screen .

Fix it myself . Just had to go to com tool bar customize and drag it up there. Never had nothing like this happen before. Wonder why it vanished .

Hi cowtan, Sorry you are having problems with the awesome bar.
I imagine the new behaviour may be reversed by changing some pref but I have not looked that up.
Regardless of the new behaviour you seem to have some fault as my awesomebar still gives bookmarked items.
As a troubleshooting step try adding an asterisk in the awesomebar (as first character or anywhere) that should then filter the results in the dropdown list to bookmarked only items, does that work ?

Navagation Bar Wacky

I have read the other post on this subject. There are several ways to fix this but I am trying to find out which one really works! It looks noraml at first but when you slide your mouse over a page it changes names like my Blog turns into Movie. After that it is Chaos I deleted my "Support" page but in some places it shows up where the "Movie" should be and the problems roll on. If someone could post step by step instructions for this bug it would be most helpful! I am running 10.3.9 I have tried the easy ones like clearing the cache moving pages around ect...

Dealing with the second point first, if you go to iWeb's File menu you'll see when you hold down the Option (Alt) key on your keyboard that Publish to .Mac changes to Publish All to .Mac, and Publish to a Folder becomes Publish All to a Folder. iWeb Help has the following to say about 'publishing All':You can publish all your sites and pages (not just the ones that changed sinced you last published) by holding down the Option key while you choose File > Publish. You might want to publish all your pages if, for example, you accidentally delete your site from .Mac, if you change .Mac accounts and want to publish to your new .Mac account, or if you discover missing links or pages in your site.Also, Apple recommended taking this course when the 1.0.1 upgrade came out. (This was necessary then in order to enable the shorter URL of http://web.mac.com/username.)
Moving on to iDisk, the route to your published sites is iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb. There you'll see a file named index.html and a folder for each of your iWeb sites (only one folder if you have only one site). A typical site folder contains an index.html file, an Images folder, and two items for each of the pages in the site, viz. a folder named PageName_files and a file named PageName.html. If you open a PageName_files folder, inside it you'll find image files for each item on your navigation bar. These are named navbar0normal.png, navbar0rollover.png, navbar1normal.png, navbar1rollover.png and so on. If you have your View set to Icons and you have View Options set to 'Show icon preview', you'll actually see what these files look like. This can be a useful way to do the quick check I spoke about, as you can see immediately if anything is out of kilter.
p.s. A quick way to mount your iDisk on the Desktop if it isn't already there is to use Go > iDisk > My iDisk in the Finder's menu. If you have a high-speed, always-on internet connection I'd recommend keeping your iDisk mounted in this way and turning off iDisk Syncing in System Preferences > .Mac.
