Next update for LR???

Any news on the next update for ACR and Lightroom?
(Like with support for the Olympus EP1?)
Thanks,
Steve Wandy

Perhaps you were referring to my comment, in the Camera Raw forum. I
originally said that E-P1 support is on the way. That is still very much the
case, but I have no new information to offer at this time. We will post an
announcement in this forum when the update is available, as we have done in
the past with all new releases.
Take care,
Eric
I realize that - have been using LR since the beginning - but there was a
response to an earlier thread about the EP1 that they (meaning Adobe) expected
an update sooner than normal. And the response was from an Adobe person, not
just a regular poster like me. That is why I asked the question again - to get
an update.
Thanks, Steve

  • When is the next update for iphone carrier setting?I cant change my carrier to 2g!!!There is only 3g or LTE available for me.

when is the next update for iphone carrier setting?I cant change my carrier to 2g!!!There is only 3g or LTE available for me.

Carrier Settings are dependent entirely on your carrier.  2G is old outdated and slow etc, most carriers are phasing out their 2G service. You would need to ask your carrier when they plan on releasing a new update.
Why on earth do you want to set your iPhone to 2G?  It will automatically switch to 2G if 3G is not available, and 2G is found.

  • I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8 processor dual 2 ghz powerpc g5 what is the next update for that?

I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8 processor dual 2 ghz powerpc g5 what is the next update for that?

There is none. You are at the end for a PPC machine. To upgrade you need to purchase an Intel Mac.
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

When is the iPhone 4S next update

If your iPhone is still on iOS 7.0.2 as your profile shows, then you're already two updates behind.

  • Next update for 13" MacBook Pro?

    Hello,
Given the recent lackluster upgrade to the 13" MacBook Pro on October 31, 2011, which was just a 0.1 GHz increase in processor power, I was wondering what the speculation was for the next real upgrade. I read that Intel's next generation of high-performance mobile processors will likely be released in the second quarter of 2012. When do you think Mac will give a full upgrade to the 13" model? Is it worth waiting for?

Only Apple knows.  It is a violation of the terms of use of this forum to speculate.

  • Is there any chance that the next update for iBooks will include the ability to highlight?

It's great as it is though, just the highlighting part. I just don't really want to use other apps for my books and PDF files (cause I'm lazy like that and I'm saving my space for other apps); especially e-books I use for school.

  • When is the next update for the ipod 4th generation?Today is 5/7/14

i really am wondering when it is my ipod  is so out of date

Hey Hhs12, If your inquiring as to wether Apple is going to release an iOS 7 for the iPod 4--  not going to happen. iOS 7 requires 512MB of RAM, only the iPod 5 has the required 512MB of RAM and there is no way to increase the RAM on an iPod. As Stedman1 stated, iOS 6.1.6 is the highest possible for the iPod 4.  Hope this helps. Cheers.

  • CC2014 next update for Canon 7D Markll

Hi,  My question is in the title.
Cannot download my raw files from my new Canon7D Markll to Adobe Camera Raw.  Does anyone know when Adobe will come up with an update ?
    Thanks to all

It will be in the Camera Raw 8.7 final release. As usual, there is no announced release date. The camera is NOT supported in the Camera Raw 8.7 release candidate that is available now. You can use the DPP software to create TIF copies to use now until Camera Raw 8.7 is finally released.
