I'm trying to connect an HP Blade server with an N2K-B22HP-P to our Nexus 7004 but it stays in de download mode.

Hi Martin,
At this point in time the N2K-B22-HP FEX is not supported with the Nexus 7000 series switches as the parent switch. If you look at Table 2 in the Cisco Nexus B22 Blade Fabric Extender Data Sheet you'll see it only lists the following:
Cisco Nexus parent switch model or line card
Cisco Nexus 5010 or 5020 Switch for Cisco Nexus B22HP and B22F
Cisco Nexus 5548P Switch
Cisco Nexus 5548UP Switch

I think it's trying to open it in a gMail eMail & is losing your gMail password that it needs log into gMail, but not 100% positive.
Have you tried Right clicking or Control+click on the eMail link & choose Copy? Works on some, not others.

G4 (MDD) with AirPort Can't See/Won't Connect to Wireless Networks

Hi all. I've seen topics/threads that get close to my question/problem, but not quite.
I inherited a PowerMac G4 (MDD)/Dual 1 GHz/1.5 GB DDR SDRAM/running 10.3.9.
I purchased a used original AirPort card from eBay, opened up the machine, and plugged it in. When I went to update the software (from a CD), my machine told me that it was up to date (though one HD is running OS9 and one running OSX -- so the software wouldn't install because the HD running OSX said it was up-to-date and the HD running 9 said it was impossible). The machine recognizes the card/shows it gray in the toolbar/says it has Firmware Version 8.70 in the System Profile.
My problem is that the AirPort can't see any wireless networks 99% of the time, even though 3 (including mine) are in range all the time. I've seen my network only flicker into possibility a few times, and even though I've disabled all security measures on the wireless router (Linksys Wireless-G, Model WRT54G), it simply won't connect. One time in 3 hours it momentarily looked like it was going to connect, then said "out of range," then disappeared completely. It has seen 0 wireless networks for the past hour.
I've read everything far and wide trying to solve this issue and am totally stuck. At first I thought I needed an antenna for the AirPort, but this is an internal card, so that doesn't seem right. I know the AirPort card (and not Extreme) is right because a) I don't have a FW800 port and b) the machine recognizes this card. Finally, I thought it may have had to do with the WPA security on the Linksys, but even with security disabled...nothing.
I'm feeling very frustrated. Any advice?

Thanks, Tom. I did as you suggested, and the Max Signal under the Log is showing a red 12, which is terrible, yes? What, exactly, does this tell me? That this is simply a case of old technology (AirPort b) struggling to communicate with new technology (Linksys g) over a medium distance (Linksys is in next room, through wall)? If plugging straight into the ethernet were an option, I'd just do it. But I can't get my G4 onto the Internet without running cords down the hallway and through my TV room, which is an obvious eyesore.
Is there a chance this AirPort card is only partly functional and I should return it? Or do I need to accept the fact that this G4 needs to either be moved closer to the Linksys router or be plugged in directly?

Ipad with Verizon Hotspot on iPhone - Won't Connect

Has anyone been able to connect their iPad with their Verizon iPhone Hotspot? I can connect my wifes iPod, but when I connect my iPad, it connects, but then it says internet is not active.
The Phone shows the connection, but I don't get a wireless symbol on my iPad, even though in settings it shows as connected to my iPhone.
Any help is appreciated please.
Verizon hotspot worked fine with my Droid X, but I dumped the droid for my iPhone on Thursday.

I have done a full restore of the ipad and before I restored the backup I tried to connect to the iphone and it would not.
Any thoughts?

Ok, a few weeks ago I was looking at ways to (securely) screen share with my mothers computer (she is in England, I am in Germany) to help her out with problems she was having with MS Word.
She has Tiger on her iMac, I have Leopard, so unfortunately it is not just a case of utilising the 'screen share' function in iChat.
After doing some research into ways to screenshare between these two OS's, I downloaded Chicken of the VLC onto my computer and, although I am fairly sure I didn't actually use it, I did start it up, and I think, but I stress the word 'think' that since then, (about 6 weeks ago), it has been impossible to have an AV chat with anyone. Can someone please let me know if they have any ideas about what the problem might be?

Help! iPod classic works with stereo, in car, but won't connect with PC

I've been to the Genius bar, my iPod classic works fine on their Mac and their Mac/PC. It works fine in my stereo and in my car. However, when I try to hook up with my Dell, it no longer recognizes it. I've uninstalled and re-installed the latest version of iTunes. (Also unintalled Quicktime, Apple Software Updater and the Apple Mobile software. When I try to connect (even bought a new cord, in case that was the issue), it thinks about it for a long time and never connects. Do I need to have a minumum amount of space on my hard drive in order for this to work (it's pretty full right now). Or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Since the latest firmware update to my iPod Classic (which is actually the latest video iPod in the larger form factor - not the new video nanos) - both Windows XP and Windows Vista both are reporting that my iPod only supports USB 1.1 interface. So if my BIOS or Windows settings had been set to NOT support USB 1.0/1.1 devices, they probably would not have even shown up in Windows. The strange thing is - this very same iPOD worked no problem in both Vista and XP on the very same machine - until the latest firmware update to the iPOD itself. I am still using the very same cable that used to work - it all showed up as USB 2.0 - now, only USB 1.1. I mention this because if you updated your iPOD firmware recently, perhaps you are experiencing the same thing. Check your BIOS and Windows USB drivers to ensure they support USB 1.1 because maybe that is what your iPOD is now trying to connect as - even though the hardware itself is USB 2.0. Just a thought - now if I could only figure out what happened to my new iPod that used to work so well.

My iPhone 4S with iOS 7.0.2 won't connect to my iTunes 11.1 on Windows 8 Premium.

Whenever I connect my iPhone to the computer, it makes the 'device detected' sound and a message comes up in my iPhone saying, "Trust this computer?" and I say yes, then it comes up in my computer as a general device that displays all the photos and videos in my iPhone. My iTunes doesn't say a thing. Nothing happens, no iPhone comes up in the right side of the top bar, nothing. It's really annoying. I've tried restarting the iPhone, the Apple Mobile Device thing, and basically everything. But it still doesn't work. I can't sync my music.

Iphone 5S can't access apple maps with cellular data - Plus Siri won't connect to internet

On the road, I tried to get a route using maps and I keep getting a long load time, then a pop- up that says "Directions Not available....Route information is not available at this time". When I connected to wifi, it worked fine. Siri also can't connect to the internet. It's AT&T.

Same problem here! Worked this morning. Ever since this early afternoon they haven't worked. My daughters friend has a Verizon iPhone and hers works just fine. All of our iPhones on same account are having the same problem. And I am aware that there is Google maps but I'm not paying to look at Google maps. Google maps are terrible.

DW8 won't connect to server in Vista

Hi all,
Tearing my hair out trying to get my DW8 suite to run on my
new laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. Used it for 3 years
on an XP machine with no problems.
It won't connect to remote server. Those buttons are greyed
out. Based on the messages I've read here, I've tried:
1) Run as Administrator
2) Compatibility with XP
3) Excluded it from Firewall
4) Turned off Firewall
5) Uninstalled and re-installed.
Am at my wits end and hope you can help. Thanks!

Lately my other laptop has been acting up. i've been having this problem that my pavilion g6 won't connect to the internet. i tried connecting it with the Ethernet but still won't connect. it shows this big red X next to it and no wifi bars. any help would be the best... and if you give me a souloution to download something i don't think i can do it cause i can't connect to the internet. P.S i am on another laptop and my internet works just fine.

EA6700 won't connect to the modem

Hi experts!
N00b here! Since last night, I'm having a problem with my router EA6700: It won't connect to the broadband modem. If I plug my modem straight to my laptop, no problem. But, if I plug the modem to the internet port (yellow port), the activity lights go dead and, of course, I don't have internet connection. However, the link light on my router and on my modem is light up.
I've tried to power cycle the modem and then the router, no good. Tried to reset the router settings and configure everything back, the Smart Wi-Fi setup gets stuck when looking for an internet connection. Tried new cables, no good. I downloaded the latest firmware (which I was already running) to overwrite the current firmware and then, reset the router settings, same thing. Tried to change the router IP address, still nothing. I cloned the MAC address from my laptop, just in case my ISP had filtered anything, still nothing.
Any ideas? Has anyone came across with this issue before?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Is ISP Modem/Service using Dynamic or Static WAN IP addressing?
What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have?
Check cable between Modem and Router, swap out to be sure. Link>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAT6 is recommended.
Check ISP MTU requirements, Cable is usually 1500, DSL is around 1492 down to 1472. Call the ISP and ask.

For DSL/PPPoE connections on the router, ensure that "Always ON" option is enabled.
If the ISP modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems: Link>http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/fixing_double_nat.htm and http://cognitiveanomalies.com/cisco-nat-how-nat-works/. If the modem can't be bridged then see if the modem has a DMZ option and input the IP address the router gets from the modem and put that into the modems DMZ. Also check the routers DHCP IP address maybe conflicting with the ISP modems IP address of 192.168.0.1. Check to see if this is the same on the ISP modem, and if modem can't be bridged, change the DIR router to 192.168.1.1 or .0.254.

Mail won't connect to mail servers

This has happened before and my only solution was to reset the iPod.
I'm connecting to .Me and Comcast mail. The iPod tries and tries and won't connect. It worked fine just the other day and I believe it was working fine after the upgrade to 2.0.2. Mail would download very quickly.
Anyone else run into this? The Mail app just sits and spins and won't ever connect. I'll be restoring the iPod tonight but this is very frustrating.

My iPod Touch with latest software upgrade simply won't connect to my POP Mail Servers to retrieve mail. Oddly, I can send messages using the same Servers! GMAIL work fine.
I have deleted and recreated the account definitions many times and reset the iPod. I know the entered details (password etc) are correct.
It worked a month or so ago but has always been intermittent - I am sure this is a bug in the Mail application.
What is strange is that the SSL and Port Number keep getting changed after I set them to the correct settings. If I change them back they eventually change again to (SSL=Yes and some other Port Number).
This is my first Apple device and, while it is a great piece of hardware, the software reliability and support leaves me wondering why everyone has been panning Microsoft all these years.

Uplink-ID 0 in Nexus 5500 with FEX 2248.

I've got 2 Nexus 5548 and a fex 2248 connected to both of them via a vPC. 1 Uplink port goes to N5K-01 e1/10 and a second Uplink port goes to N5K-02 to port e1/10.
On the log of the first Nexus 5500 I see this:
