NFL NETWORK V CAST GONE

Anyone know why the NFL NETWORK is gone on the V CAST I added to my alias2?  It was nice for two days. Customer service was no help and I am about to cancel the v cast on my multimedia phone. I am wondering if Verizon just wants me to buy a smartphone to get the new NFL MOBILE being offered.. This really makes me mad! ARGHHHHH!

  • Problem with NFL Network Surround Audio

    Hi,
    Except for the first game of the season, NFL Network is not being sent to my Motorola HD QUIP 71001 in Dolly Surround sound. It is connected to my Kenwood receiver via optical cable. All the other channels on FiOS behave correctly, but it seems like for some reason V* is not broadcasting the games in surround. Meanwhile Verizon is broadcasting NFL Red Zone games in surround.
    Is there any compelling reason why Verizon is doing this?

    According to other posts, the NFL Network (HD) is not sending full surround (Dobly 5.1) but only encoding at Dolby 2.0.  AFAIK Verizon only passes on what it is fed from the source network (with the exception of some of the premium HD channels which are supplied in MPEG-4 and have to be transcoded to MPEG-2).

    Hello - my connection keeps dropping out, lots of pixelation on NFL Network on my main X1 device. Signal says full, and a box reset 5 minutes ago did nothing.
    Really nervous about the Mayweather fight tonight... Is there a problem in my end?

    My thoughts are you have fixable issues... once you call Comcast and get a tech out to your house.
    I HIGHLY doubt you will fix this without outside help.

  • How to watch NFL network?

    I have the HTC 8X and recently saw that NFL games and NFL Network are included:

    The season has not yet started so there aren't any games to watch but I wanted to check out NFL network to try it out.  I'm able to get into the NFL Mobile App without any problems but I don't see how you access NFL Network or NFL Games?  It looks like it's pointing me to add "NFL Game Pass" to do this but when I follow the link to game pass I get the following message:
    This app is not available for your device
    I'm in the US, on the 8X which has NOT yet been updated to 8.1
    Any ideas?

  • Only Spanish audio avaialble on SD feed of NFL Network game

    this is a very odd and specific issue so bear with me. it only happens on SD, HD is fine. on the NFL Network during the Thursday night game, only during the game itself not during commercials, or even when the referee makes an announcement, the audio is in Spanish. i have tried changing the audio option to Spanish and back again and it didn't work. i have FiOS, and given how oddly specific the issue is that may well be important. this is at least the 3rd week in a row i have had this issue. thank you for your help.

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".   • Terrible Pixelation on FX-HD and NFL NETWORK HD

    Anyone else experience extremely poor picture quality with FX-HD and NFL Network HD?  There is massive pixelation and compression artifacting.  Can someone please look into these 2 channels? im also experiencing general pixelation across all channels with my HD service but FX-HD and NFL NETWORK HD are basically unwatchable.  This is prevalent on all HDTVs in my home.

    I currently do not see any widespread issues with the channels you have mentioned. Since it's happening on all TVs, there may be an issue with the splitter or anything back to your fiber hub.
    A good thing to check is the signal to noise ratio- this will let you know if the pixelation is being cause by interference in your home. To check in-band SNR, you need to pull up the diagnostics menu. To do this, tune to the channel that is pixelating, turn off the STB and press OK, OK (or select, select on the front) and go into the in-band status menu. Under the frequency of the QAM channel you're currently tuned to will be the SNR value. It should be at least 30db. You may want to watch it a bit to see if it fluxuates. DVR STBs will have two SNR values: one for each tuner.
    If all STBs are showing bad SNR value, possible bad splitter, main feed or ONT coax jack.
    If some bad, some good, then either those local coax legs or the splitter ports.
    If all show good, then it's probably not something in your house.
    Let us know what you find!

    Well, they are showing the Eagles/Jets game right now, I am watching it. Are you in the "local" area for either team? If so my guess would be that it is blacked out due to the game presumably being available on a local broadcast channel. The channel should come back after the game ends, although you might have to pull the plug and reboot the STB to get it back, some people say they have to do that.
    It is my understanding that this is due to NFL policy.

  • SAFARI: NFL Network Videos Will Not Play

    Is there a way to get videos from the NFL Network to play? I don't know what type of video they use, but this site, and a few others that I go to just will not let me use Safari to view the movies. I updated Flash to the newest version, still no luck.

    BTW, if I open up Firefox, and go to the same sites, the video plays just fine.

    Those videos play fine for me (just mentioning that to show that they can work!).
    It might be wroth your while deleting flash and reinstalling it.

  • NFL Network will not Stream HDMI Out

    I purchased the media dock for my Droid Bionic specifically to be able to stream NFL Network to my TV.  Whenever I try to do so, I receive an error message: "Error Playing Video.  Please Try Again Later."
    Does anyone know of a solution to this?  Trolling the webernets, it sounds like this is intentional (which would be extremely moronic), but that there are work arounds on other devices.  Anyone have a Bionic solution?

    The HDMI will not transfer Copyrighted material through the hdmi connection so this isnt going to work...  You can try RealHDMI to do this but understand that this app is a bit restricted due to the hardware restrictions....

  • Cisco Network Assistant cast error (vlan)

    As we have a new Catalyst 2960XS PoE in our network I upgraded the CNA 5.2 to version 5.7 (6) keeping my old configuration. Then I added the 2960XS and it is working fine. But now, when I try to configure any port's VLAN of one of our old switches (Catalyst 3508G-XL and both of our Catalyst 3548-XL) I am not able to do it anymore. It just shows the error this message :
    Error: Modify Port Mode com.cisco.cpnm.features.dsbu.c3500.vlan.C3500Vlan cannot be cast to com.cisco.features.dsbu.defn.vlan.CommonVlan

    We have the same error message with CNA 5.8(6) on Cisco Catalys 3548XL IOS 12.0(5)WC17.
    Error: Modify Port Mode com.cisco.cpnm.features.dsbu.c3500.vlan.C3500Vlan cannot be cast to com.cisco.features.dsbu.defn.vlan.CommonVlan
    Is there any workaround ?

  • Cant FInd Linksys Wi fi in Available networks--It is GONE?

     I have been using Linskys Public Wi fi network for a long time. I checked ALL my available networks and it is NOT there anymore. I reloaded my adapater and it still will not appear. This is not a case where I cant connect due to incompatibility...the issue is the network NO longer shows up anywhere for connection. What happened to the Linskys public Wi fi? howdo I recconnect? It has been gone about a WEEK.  There has been NO signal change to all other networks..and I did NOT move the wi fi antenna/adapter. I am using a wireless adapter..and NO out sources router. This has never been a problem before. I did try and reinall all software and ALL networks appear ESCEPT  Linskys--which had the strongest signal for a public network...I need this network BACK.. can anyone help?

    If all of your wireless devices can't detect the 'Linksys' wireless connection, I suggest contacting the network administrator. There's a posibility that the network name and security has been updated.  

  • HP C4780 wireless network light has gone out on the printer and my PC no longer ses the printer

    Whilst scanning some photo's my pc lost connection with the printer. The wireless network light on the printers panel is no longer lit so I can't print or scan. I have tried turning the printer of and on again but the situation is the same. Has any one any idea how to solve this problem othr than buying a new printer?

  • Network Preferences pane gone mad

    Hi All,
    After I ran an ISP supplied software CD my Network Preferences pane just went mad. Every time I open the pane immediately a window drops down carrying the message
    "Your Network Settings has been changed by another application"
    I click "OK' but a fraction of second later the same message drops down again. Click "OK" and the sequence repeats again; and again; and again.
    In effect this prevents me from changing any Network settings manually (when the message is shown everything is blanked out)
    Unfortunately I forgot to run uninstall before cancelling the service and returning the software CD to the ISP. Now I have trouble getting any information what files might have been installed.
    Any ideas where to look for and that files to delete to get rid of the issue???
