NFL Redzone, can I stream/hook  it to my TV?

I have an Iphone 4s and I have the NFL redzone and am wondering if there is a way to hook it up to my HDTV. I have not bought an adapter yet and do not want to unless someone else has had luck with NFL redzone. I have seen that netflix works.

Iphone4s and up and ATV 2 and up support something
Called AirPlay mirror which mean it mirrors what is shown what is on the iPhone screen

Yes, if you enable AirPlay Video Mirroring on the iOS devices you are using FaceTime on.

  • Can I stream content from my laptop to Apple TV?

I have the old version of AppleTV, am looking at the new one. I don't think it does this, and I've read through the sales/features page and I'm still not perfectly clear so thought I'd ask here.
Can I use AppleTV to stream video content from my laptop to a TV? for example, let's say I have a webinar that is 90 minutes long and I'd like to watch it on my TV and not sit at my computer staring at a smaller screen for 90 minutes. can AppleTV do this for me?
if the answer is no, can ANYTHING do this for me short of hooking up a physical HDMI cable from my laptop to the tv? Seems like this is something Apple should be leading the way with, but I'm just not seeing how it can be done.

I've set everything else up but cannot figure out how to display my laptop screen onto my TV.
As Keithjammer indicates, the TV2 does not "mirror" your screen as the platform's video interface does. Instead, the TV2 device is a wired/wireless remote multimedia player. As such, it only plays files in a compatible compression format. To do what you want it to do would require your platform to first compress the screen audio/video data to a compatible format and then stream it to the device in real time.

Yes, only files can be streamed. You can, of course, capture your screen audio and video data to a compatible file and then stream the file to the TV2 device.
...except from both London Drugs (where I purchased it) and Best Buy (where I double checked).

  • I have an original apple tv, and an apple tv2, can i stream between them?

    As title,
i have an original Apple tv with 50+ films stored on the HDD, can i stream this in any way to a new Apple TV 2 in another room?

You could stream audio to AppleTV2 as an Airport speaker destination but not video, and AppleTV2 is never going to be able to access AppleTV hard drive content in the way it can from iTunes.
There is a need for a low powered Apple media server than can sit on the network and directly replace itunes, in order to Share to AppleTV's, iTunes on your computers and iDevices over wi-fi.
    AC
I use a Mac Mini for this purpose now, hooked up to TV as well, but primarily view content on AppleTV and control the Mini remotely using Apple's Remote Desktop.

  • How can I stream videos that come into my imac directly to my AppleTV and then my TV

how can I stream videos that come into my imac directly to my AppleTV and then my TV?

Or... you can just use a 3rd party solution.
Best solution for streaming audio and video to your Apple TV from an Mac or Windows PC... without using iTunes... is Airparrot. You can screen share your Mac to your Apple TV. It even lets you select your overscan/underscan and video quality.
Download it and install. It shows up in your system tray. As long as you are on the same network as your Apple TV, just right click the Airparrot icon and select Apple TV as your Airplay device.

Then hook up your wireless keyboard and mouse and plop on the couch for some supersized web browsing.
It's 20 minute sessions for the free version, $9.99 for full and can gift to someone for $4.99 if you buy for yourself.

most reliable method found is get an AppleTV hooked to TV, and get program called BEAMER (free trial or $15 purchase application).     Lots of programs CAN stream to TV via wifi, but many of them get audio syncing wrong/bad.   Best addition upgrade to any Apple PC or laptop isnt internal, but the AppleTV     BEAMER app is the best Apple/Mac app out there to me, ...  Ive got 7 Terabytes of Videos, ...the Beamer app takes in any video format, its just incredible.

  • NFL Redzone coming up "Subscription Required"

First off I have no stb's. I only have a cablecard. When I go to channel 835 it brings up Subcription required there is no music or splash screen. I've contacted support through chat and it must have been at least 2 hours of sending back and forth from billing and tech departments. One guy told me I only get the Online Redzone and the tv cost $55. The second guy tried to add some "coding" to my account but said it was unavailable. The next told me it was because it was off season and I try to explain that I should still get the splash screen with music.
He transfered to another guy who resent the activation sugnals to the cablecard which didn't work. That guy sent me to another guy that told me I needed to check the box for redzone at the ordering process (Which is not there btw) so then he tried to add it to the account and couldn't get it to work.He sent to another guy who said he wrote a note on my account that read "NOTE TO BILLING: YOU MUST WRITE RECAP ORDER TO ADD ON ZERO RATED RED ZONE"Then he sent me to another dude asked me all the same stuff and I explain to him the process I was through he then set up a conference chat with someon from tech.
    The tech guy told me to click on the banner page which is not there because I dont have a stb I have a cablecard. So he got his floor supervisor to call my cel phone and assure me they are working on the problem. The chat id number was {edited for privacy}
    I just want this problem fixed. I dont want to tune in the first day and not be able to watch the games.All in all the techs were very diligent in trying to fix it. Well all except one guy named Keith who was  a complete and {please keep your posts courteous}

Let me start by saying I have had NFL RedZone for 2 years now and it worked just fine until 2 weeks ago.  I also must indicate that I have a CableCard and do not have any other Set top boxes.  I thus cannot go to channel 335 or 835 and click ok to activate these channels.  I tried working with tech support last week for over an hour.  I tried again today for over an hour at which point the y forwarded me to billing for another hour at which point they told me they would call back.  Billing eventually called back a few hours later and left no message.  The billing person then emailed me the same suggestion she had given me while I was working with her and had been given to me 3 times earlier,  I cannot click ok on channel 335 or 835 as I do not have a set top box.  From what I have read Verizon is now periodically deactivating the NFL RedZone channel so they can reduce the fees paid to the NFL.  I watch this channel frequently and is one of the main reasons I have the Verizon Ultimate HD channel.  It has now been 2 weeks and the one channel in this package that I watch still does not work.  Can someone please fix this issue for me and activate this channel on my account by adding the :Zero Rated NFL Red Zone" to my account. I don't see how a poor design on Verizon's part should prevent me from getting the channels I am paying for and watch regularly.  Let me also remind you that I have been a loyal Verizon subscriber for over 7 years.
Apparently I am not the only one to have this problem apparently you did this to many cablecard subscribers as indicated in this verizon forum:
    http://businessforums.verizon.net/t5/FiOS-TV-Technical-Assistance/Cable-Cards/m-p/633275
"If you only have cable cards (or if the activation from the stb fails), you need to call orders and ask for the Zero Rated NFL Red Zone for Ultimate HD to be added. If the person you get doesn't know anything about it, ask for a supervisor. I got that added to my account, and now all my tivos show the red zone splash screen on ch 835/335. As the Zero Rated part of that name implies, it is not an additional cost. I suspect it's a way to track those that actually use the channel in order to then pay the NFL less, rather than having to report everyone who subscribes to Ultimate HD as a subscriber to the Red Zone."
Please let me know when this issue is resolved.  Let me also indicate that this channel is in a package I pay for since this seems to come up with each new person I speak to.

  • Can original iPad hook up with the latest version of Apple TV?

Can original iPad hook up with the latest version of Apple TV?

I haven't actually seen any specifications on the data rates applicable to AirPlay, however I feel that 20 Mb per second would likely be ample to cover a scenario where the iPad is receiving a stream from the Internet and sending it at the same time by mirroring to the Apple TV. Please be aware that this is my opinion, it is not necessarily fact.

  • Can I stream the BT Sport app to my TV?

Can I stream the BT Sport app to my TV?
The BT Sport app is compatible with both Apple TV and Google Chromecast devices, allowing you to watch video from the app on your television.
For either to work, the device on which you are running the BT Sport app must be on the same Wifi network as your Apple TV or Chromecast.
Please note, to get the best quality experience on your TV we recommend a minimum broadband line speed of 2mbps.
    Apple TV
Apple TV set-up instructions are available here
Once you have set up your Apple TV according to the manufacturer's instructions and put your TV on the correct HDMI channel, access the app as normal on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
If the device senses an Apple TV on the same network, an Airplay icon (pictured) will appear in the bottom right corner of the video player.
Tap this icon and select 'Apple TV' from the menu that appears. The video will then be sent to your television.
When you are using Airplay functionality within the BT Sport app, the video will not also appear on the screen of your device.
    Google Chromecast
Chromecast set-up instructions are available here
You can 'cast' video to a Chromecast from either the iOS or Android version of the BT Sport app.
First, set up your Chromecast according to the manufacturer's instructions and put your TV on the correct HDMI channel.
If the device running the BT Sport app is on the same Wifi network as a fully set-up Chromecast, a casting icon appears in the top right-hand corner of the app home screen.
When the user taps the casting icon, a pop-up window appears displaying all Chromecast devices detected. The user needs to select the Chromecast that they wish to cast to, regardless of whether they only have a single device.
Once the device is connected to the Chromecast, the casting icon in the top right corner is illuminated blue
When the casting icon is illuminated, it does NOT mean that the page is mirroring to your TV. It simply means that, when you do start playing a video on the app, it will cast to your TV.
A viewer can also start casting while a video is already playing within the app, by following exactly the same process.
When you are casting from the BT Sport app to your television, the video will not also appear on the screen of your device.
If you are having problems streaming the BT Sport channels to your Chromecast, it is recommended that you try using the extender that is included in the Chromecast packaging, as it may be that the Chromecast is not receiving a strong enough Wifi signal from your router.
You can find more help via this link How to stream through Chromecast on the BT Sport App

  • How can i stream video and audio from macbook air to my tv?

how can i stream video and audio from macbook air to my tv?

Wirelessly: you need an AirPlay - enabled device such as an AppleTV.
Wired: if your TV has an HDMI port, you need a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter such as this one:
Mini DisplayPort to HDMI® Adapter w/ Audio Support
If your TV does not have an HDMI port you will need a converter that will convert HDMI input to whatever input your TV requires.

  • Can I stream from the same iTunes account to 2 Apple Tv's in 2 different locations?

I currently have 1 Apple TV device at home.  I'm thinking of buying a second one to keep in my office at work across town.  My concern is this: my kids love streaming purchased movies and TV shows at home during the day while out of school.  Will I be able to stream content purchased on the same iTunes account at the same time while I'm at work and my kids are at home watching on my first ATV device?
I know ATV isn't that expensive, but I would like to avoid duplicating purchases on a new iTunes account just so both locations can be streaming at the same time.  Anybody know if this is possible?
    Thanks ahead of time.

Yes.  I would like to know if I can stream content from the apple store on both Apple TV devices simultaneously.  Not from a computer, but items purchased from the Apple store on my first Apple TV device.
    Thanks for the reply!
