NFL Redzone coming up "Subscription Required"
First off I have no stb's. I only have a cablecard.When I go to channel 835 it brings up Subcription required there is no music or splash screen. I've contacted support through chat and it must have been at least 2 hours of sending back and forth from billing and tech departments. One guy told me I only get the Online Redzone and the tv cost $55. The second guy tried to add some "coding" to my account but said it was unavailable. The next told me it was because it was off season and I try to explain that I should still get the splash screen with music.
He transfered to another guy who resent the activation sugnals to the cablecard which didn't work.That guy sent me to another guy that told me I needed to check the box for redzone at the ordering process (Which is not there btw) so then he tried to add it to the account and couldn't get it to work.He sent to another guy who said he wrote a note on my account that read "NOTE TO BILLING: YOU MUST WRITE RECAP ORDER TO ADD ON ZERO RATED RED ZONE"Then he sent me to another dude asked me all the same stuff and I explain to him the process I was through he then set up a conference chat with someon from tech.
The tech guy told me to click on the banner page which is not there because I dont have a stb I have a cablecard. So he got his floor supervisor to call my cel phone and assure me they are working on the problem. The chat id number was {edited for privacy}
I just want this problem fixed. I dont want to tune in the first day and not be able to watch the games.All in all the techs were very diligent in trying to fix it. Well all except one guy named Keith who was a complete and {please keep your posts courteous}
Let me start by saying I have had NFL RedZone for 2 years now and it worked just fine until 2 weeks ago. I also must indicate that I have a CableCard and do not have any other Set top boxes. I thus cannot go to channel 335 or 835 and click ok to activate these channels. I tried working with tech support last week for over an hour. I tried again today for over an hour at which point the y forwarded me to billing for another hour at which point they told me they would call back. Billing eventually called back a few hours later and left no message. The billing person then emailed me the same suggestion she had given me while I was working with her and had been given to me 3 times earlier, I cannot click ok on channel 335 or 835 as I do not have a set top box. From what I have read Verizon is now periodically deactivating the NFL RedZone channel so they can reduce the fees paid to the NFL. I watch this channel frequently and is one of the main reasons I have the Verizon Ultimate HD channel. It has now been 2 weeks and the one channel in this package that I watch still does not work. Can someone please fix this issue for me and activate this channel on my account by adding the :Zero Rated NFL Red Zone" to my account. I don't see how a poor design on Verizon's part should prevent me from getting the channels I am paying for and watch regularly. Let me also remind you that I have been a loyal Verizon subscriber for over 7 years.

"If you only have cable cards (or if the activation from the stb fails), you need to call orders and ask for the Zero Rated NFL Red Zone for Ultimate HD to be added. If the person you get doesn't know anything about it, ask for a supervisor. I got that added to my account, and now all my tivos show the red zone splash screen on ch 835/335. As the Zero Rated part of that name implies, it is not an additional cost. I suspect it's a way to track those that actually use the channel in order to then pay the NFL less, rather than having to report everyone who subscribes to Ultimate HD as a subscriber to the Red Zone."
Please let me know when this issue is resolved. Let me also indicate that this channel is in a package I pay for since this seems to come up with each new person I speak to.

Verizon won't take my $50 for NFL RedZone
After being tempted with free RedZone for a week and bombarded with ads for RedZone from Verizon, I finally decided to subscribe. I tried to subscribe via the STB, but got an error saying that I needed to subscribe online or over the phone. I subscribed online on Saturday, but still no RedZone come Sunday.
I tried contacting Verizon to find out why I was not getting RedZone, but just like the Comcast commercial, there was no one available to help me. So here I had subscribed for NFL RedZone, was unable to watch it on Sunday, and was unable to get anyone to even talk to about it fixing it - just a terrible customer experience.
So I sent off an e-mail, and today I got a call back from a Verizon rep (bonus points for the callback). She tried to sign me up for RedZone, had trouble, and then informed me that I was not allowed to sign up because I only have the Prime HD package, not the Extreme or Ultimate.
What?! I'm trying to pay you an extra $50 and you won't allow me to because I'm not paying you enough already for my base TV package??
She offered to "upgrade" me to the Extreme package, which would cost $60 more per month, but would give me the "privilege" of being able to pay an additional $50 for RedZone. Oh, and I would also be locked into a 2 year agreement with a $300+ early termination fee. Uhhhh, no thanks.
So by trying to force me into a more expensive TV package, they got a very frustrated customer AND they don't get my $50 per year. How does that make ANY business sense, Verizon??I believe that in order to subscribe to NFL RedZone, you must already have access to NFL Network, per NFL Network/RedZone carriage requirements. So blame the NFL, not Verizon.

NFL Redzone, can I stream/hook it to my TV?
I have an Iphone 4s and I have the NFL redzone and am wondering if there is a way to hook it up to my HDTV. I have not bought an adapter yet and do not want to unless someone else has had luck with NFL redzone. I have seen that netflix works.

NFL Redzone = NOT WORKING AGAIN?
Is NFL Redzone not working again this week?? Last week it took over 2 hours to finally work, and this week it looks like the same problem. I tried to activate it through my remote, but it comes up with an error messaging saying unable to process your request. And of course when I call, I'm hold for 10 mins like usual. HELP

The widget must be active for you to receive alerts. Next week, while RedZone is broadcasting, make sure you launch the FiOS Football Widget and remain in the widget to receive alerts.
While in the widget, press the FiOS TV button (LIVE TV on some remotes) to toggle between full-screen and widget modes, and switch to your game by inputting the channel number for your game. While in widget mode, or while an alert is on screen, pressing C will take you to the NFL RedZone channel, however to get back to your game, you must input the appropriate channel number (the LAST button will not work--Verizon PLZFIX!!!)
You will not be able to use the Guide, Menu or Info screens without exiting the widget. If you exit the widget (either by pressing Exit or by attempting to access the Guide, Info or Menu screens) you will no longer receive alerts, -
Fulfillment date is coming ahead of Requirement date
There are 2 locations in my supply chain. 1 is Local distibution center and the other is regional dist. center.
There is transportation lane maintained between 2 locations.
I have created demand at Local Dist Center and after SNP Heuristic the fulfillment ie, Purchase req date is coming ahead of demand date..
for eg.
Demand date is 25.02.2008
fulfillment date against the demand date is coming 28.02.2008
same is the case in the regional dist center.

This is a Common Problem I've seen and it happens when even if you have Demand in Daily Buckets, you are doing Heuristic Planning using 9ASNP94 Planning Book. In this Planning Book, the Time Bucket Profile is a Mix of Days and Weeks (First 3 weeks as Days & the rest is all in Weeks). So what happens is for Demand that is beyond 3 weeks from Today, SNP Heuristic Planning is done in a Weekly Time Bucket even though Demand is in APO LiveCache in a Daily Time Bucket. As previously indicated by Somnath, the Period Factor (default of 0.5) makes the replenishment generated in the Middle of the Time Bucket ... causing us to Believe that the Date is not fulfilling the Requirement.
There are 2 Solutions I know for this ... the best one being (1) below which is Planning in SNP in a Daily Bucket since it creates dependant Supplies in your distribution Network by Day which is needed to Plan Production on the Right Day and Ship on the Right Day from the source.
1. Create a New SNP Planning Book.
a. First create a New Time Bucket Profile = Z9ASNP
which is for 366 days and is by DAY only.
b. Create a Planning Book = Z9ASNP94 (Copy of
9ASNP94) via trnx /sapapo/sdp8b and use the
Z9ASNP TBP in the Data View ZSNP94(1).
c. Activate all the Macros of the Planning Book just like
the Standard Planning book via /sapapo/advm.
d. Assign this Planning book to your User ID.
e. Use this Planning book in all SNP Heuristic or
Optimizer Background Runs. (/sapapo/snp01 or snpop)
You will see the Dates will be Calculated Correctly.
2. The Second one is the Period Factor as previously explained. This should be set to ZERO in the TLB Lane and the Product-Location Master.
In BOTH the case the TimeZone of the Locations must be same. In the previous releases of APO only UTC would work, but in recent releases other Timezones work as well as long as they are same, they give good result. Also ensure that the Planning Calendars use the same Timezone.
The Solution (1) above ensures Supply is Planned on the Right Day which downward in the Supply Chain will Plan the Shipping on the Right day & further down the Production on the Right day in the Production Plant.
The Solution (1) above is needed not just for this, I have known from my Past Experience on Projects the Need for a Separate SNP Planning Book for Activating SNP Database Alerts to create SNP Alerts permanently in the ALERT MONITOR (not Interactive Planning). This requires Alerts to be Activated and made as 'Default' so that the SNP Planning Run generates the Alerts while execution.
Thus Solution (1) will provide multiple solutions.
I've known for the Purpose of Some Custom Alerts, even the need to create a New SNP Planning area vs the standard SNP Planning area. That will require creation of a New SNP Planning book anyway. But this is beyond the scope of this discussion.
GoodLuck. Try this out. It will solve your problem.

I have an iPhone 4S and the latest Apple TV, both setup with my email address as the Apple ID. I subscribed to iTunes Match so our music could be played from iCloud. I gave my wife an iPad 3 and set it up using her email address as the Apple ID. When I try to turn on iMatch so she can play our music from iCloud on her new iPad it tells me that she needs a subscription to iTunes Match. Is it Apple's intent that we would need two iTunes Match subscriptions? If not, how do I accomplish what I want to get done?
The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

if i am assign to an employee
then it will start the day with 2nd shift instead of Weekly off
i dont know where i have to define that whenever employee
selected for the shift from the 1st of every month
should be weekly off and it should not considered the weekdays
i.e
if i mention this WSR for an employee in Info type 007
it should take the first day as Weekly off and not to consider the Monday,tuesday etc...
my current problem is
i have assigned the WSR in infotype 7 as 0112233 w.e.f. 01.04.2010
it is taking from Shift 2 and making the monday as WO instead of Thursday
which is to be weekly off as per the requirement

I dont know if this will work but you can try it.. its a bit repititive.
Now you have a Period Work Schedule rule 0112233 for which you generate Work schedule for a year lets say using 01.04.2010 as the reference day for PWS.
Now, for the month of April you are getting it right but not for May and subsequent months.
So try doing this
You will have to generate Work schedule for every month i.e give period 01.2010 to 01.2010 and not for entire year.
For April your first change the reference date to 01.04.2010 and generate WS only for april for period 01.2010
then change the reference date to 01.05.2010 and generate the WS for May only
then change the reference date to 01.06.2010 and generate the WS for June only
and continue for the rest of year..
Its just an idea which you can try... do let me know if it works

Short answer is yes you can.
But if you installed FB 4.7 as part of Creative Cloud then want to cancel CC and use standalone FB 4.7 keep reading...
Bought Creative Suite 5.5 and got FB 4.5
Upgraded for free to FB 4.6
Started Creative Cloud and installed FB 4.7 using that.
Decided that I don't want Creative Cloud subscription, just FB 4.7.
Bought an upgrade to FB 4.7 Premium as a standalone app.
But.... no installer for FB 4.7 Premium from my account downloads page. Adobe assumes you get it from CC
Found a download, installed that and it would not accept either FB 4.7 upgrade serial number or CS 5.5 serial number.
Solution
Call Adobe Support, they will walk you through installing the stand alone version w/o CC and give you a temp key to complete the installation. That only took a few hours on the phone!
Downside is you must call every time you install FB 4.7, not good.
It would be really great if Adobe would put this information in a FAQ.

No, it does not. iPad 3G has a GPS chip build in. Wifi only iPad does not, but uses location services to find it's location. If you have a 3G version iPad, GPS communicates with satellites with or without 3G service activated.

ITunes Match vs iCloud: 2 subscriptions required?
iTunes Match claims to pair an entire music library to it. If my iCloud is 5GBs and my music library is 35GBs, does iTunes Match's subscription override the space difference? Or do I need to purchase extra iCloud space AND subscribe to iTunes Match? Thanks

Why does each Apple TV app that requires a cable subscription require separate activation/cable verification? I only have one cable subscription, so can the Apple TV just store my info and give me access to all of the app my cable subscription allows? At the very least apps from the same company should all activate at one (ABC and the Disney apps).

It was announced today by verizon that more everything customers will receive premium features for the NFL Mobile app for free for the 2014-2015 NFL season instead of the $5 subscription fee in years past. I installed the NFL Mobile app on my elipsis tablet and after 2 hours on the phone with verizon i was told this app in incompatible with the verizon elipsis. I was able to watch videos that are included with the app, but i wont be able to tell if i can watch football games on this tablet until football season starts. Does anyone else have a better answer for me?

Premium features on the NFL Mobile app can only be activated for Smartphones. The app does not have a live games option on tablets.
Below is a snippet I copied from the application information available in the Playstore.
"Verizon customers can upgrade to Premium Features on their smartphone for access to NFL RedZone on Sundays, and watch LIVE local Sunday NFL games in addition to Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights...."

NFL Mobile - Included but not included?

I've tried searching the forums because I'm sure this has been answered, so if anyone wants to send a link that'd be great.'
As most know by now, NFL Mobile Premium is supposed to be included in More Everything Plans. I received the text and was pretty tickled. But now I'm frustrated.
In the menu of the app, it no longer says "NFL Network." It says "Live: Verizon Premium." But when you open it, it is indeed supposed to be a live NFL Network stream. Except I opened it during non-live game hours, while NFL Network was playing a rerun of a game. I was given a 2:00 minute counter and after it was up, I can no longer access the live stream. I'm assuming judging by the language on the main page on Verizon's website for NFL Mobile, that I can only watch the NFL Network for "free/included" during live broadcasts of games, and that now the NFL Redzone is $1.99/mo.
So it's not "included." Verizon unsubscribed me from my services so they could force me to resubscribe AND charge an extra 2 bucks for Redzone. I would have MUCH rather been told this than the lie that was texted to me.
If my assumptions are wrong, please enlighten me. I used to tell people how awesome this app and subscription was, but now that I've been jerked around, I'll give it a go for this season, but I'll probably give up after this and go back to pirating.UPDATE:
Now I feel like smarmy jerk. I tapped on the video notification in the app, and it took me to a live NFL Network stream, and then I checked tapping from the menu again and it works!
