NForce PCI writes issues

Hello,
Any predictions about when the new 2.5 bios that fixes the above mentioned issues will come out?
I'm hoping it will fix some problems I had with my Adaptec U2 SCSI controller.

Hi.
Recently I've discovered that ADR was creating a folder in one of ours Oracle 11.2.0.1 server, in the users home like ~/oradiag_$USER/.. The problem is that this logging files dont stop growning, and they are filled only with this lines:

I've searched around internet about this issue all that I've found is a "workaround" by creating those folders. And yep, it works, it stops growning.
Then I checked the others servers that we have, and the problem replicates in some servers with the same Oracle version.
My question is: Why this? Why in some servers ADR is looking for that folder? That folder didnt exist in any of them, but only some servers tries to read/write on it (or, at least, log it) What parameter relies on it?

Report Writer Issues

A user transported Report Writer objects into a production system which is affecting other businesses data when they run report writer. The first issue I am seeing is that incorrect variants are defaulting fir at least one Report Group, and maybe more. I suppose it is impossible to back out the transports that are causing the problem?
How does the variant default to a specific report Group?
Any other Report Writer transactions, info, or other materials will be appreciated.

In the lead column, this is where you define your row definitions. For example if you are using GL accounts these would be defined here. Next, create another row definition by double clicking. It will bring up an option. Pick formula. Then you can do math calculations.
In the currency column you should only define one currency. This is your key figure. Also select the characteristics that you want it to be based on 'ie fiscal year'. If in FI try TSL.

Report Writer Issue - Revenue Cost Element - After Upgrade.

Hello ,
   After upgrade some of the report writers are not pulling up all the plan data.
   I found out that the revenue cost elements (cost element category - 11) are not being pulled by
   report writer in ECC 6.00, where it used to pull them in 4.6C. These postings were done to
   our budget version using KP06.
   These revenue cost elements postings are not stored in COSP. I dont have any idea in which tables
   they are stored.
   Does anyone have any clue about this.

Its a report writer report developed here..(not standard one)
The cost center is a revenue cost center. So when we post our revenues we post it to this revenue cost center.
The issue is in 4.6C env it used to pull this data, but in 6.00 it is not pulling.....

WebDAV 7.5 and Snow Leopard 10.6 write issues

We have WebDAV 7.5 running on an SBS2008 box with IIS 7.0. Windows clients can connect, read and write fine. Mac 10.6 clients that use the built in WebDAV clients can connect and read but not write any files. If a Mac client uses an application like Cyberduck to connect to the WebDAV server then it has read and write access.
I read up on the fact that WebDAV 7 had some issues regarding file locking but that was apparently fixed in WebDAV 7.5. Does anyone have any ideas or pointers as to why this is occurring? It is very frustrating.

No one has any ideas? It's pretty frustrating that a modern can't pull this off easily.

WRT610n help with PCI compliance issue ICMP timestamp

I'm having a issue with ICMP times stamps and pci compliance, they keep saying it is allowing timestamps, but my firewall shows it not checked, I see no particular option on the router to disable timestamp
again I have a wrt610n ver 2 router

Recurring Read/Write Issues (1 year now) - NEED FIX

My Macbook Pro Mid-2009 had a hard drive issue -- lots of weird errors, unclear. Essentially, switched out the hard drive for a brand new one, did a clean install on a 1TB 7200 RPM Hitachi HD. Continued to throw errors when trying to read/write so I was told the hard drive may have been defective out of box.
Since then, have replaced it with another 1TB 7200 RPM, then a 512GB 7200RPM and now finally a 320GB 5400RPM. ALL CLEAN INSTALLS. Still getting errors -- at this point, I'm being told when trying to Download Chrome that there is no room available when in reality there is ~300GB free, and when trying to change permissions to the Downloads folder am seeing "An unexpected error occurred (error code -50).
I've been to the Mac Store ~8 times about this already and still no fixes. One suggestion was maybe the Hard Drive Cable is broken? I had it replaced in 2012. Thoughts? Is there any way to check this?

Sounds like other HW problem like RAM, Logic Board, cable, etc.

CF 7 PCI compliance issue

There is a security flaw in the wildcard ISAPI DLL in CF7 - Documented here:

That link is no where near a full compilation of the reasons that a site would fail PCI compliancy.
It makes sense that one would fail under the circumstances that the private IP address is being leaked. That does present some potential issues for hackers to try and take advantage of.
The specific PCI rejection is below. The article that they quote in their rejection does not correct the issue as it is specifically related to the DLL. As mentioned in the link in the very first post of this thread, the issue is readily evident by turning on/off the DLL requirement. Unfortunately our sites require it.

PCI Compliance Issue

I'm trying to make our Exchange 2013 server PCI compliant. TO do this, I've turned off SSL2 and 3, PCT1, and TLS 1.0.
When I turn off TSL1.0, none of our Outlook clients can connect. Is there a change I need to make somewhere so they use TLS1.1 or above?

K8n Master2 scsi pci card issues

First of all here is my specs:
K8n Master2 bios 1.42
8800 gtx non sli
2* 285 optys
4gigs of corsair reg/ecc pc-3200
silverstone op1000 PS
I have a problem with scsi I have tried 3 different scsi ultra 160 pci cards (Adaptec asc-29160, Lsi Logic LSIU160, and another LSi Logic card) all giving me the same errors. The problem is the scsi card displays error HAVE OPTION ROM CAN NOT BE INVOKE (VENDOR...) and so on. In addition, I have tried everything I can think of to get the scsi card to initialize the motherboard bios. I have also tried many different bios for the k8n master2 motherboard that I could get my hands on without any luck. I have done some searching on google for a compatible scsi card for the K8n Master2 motherboard with no luck, and I was wandering if anyone here has gotten a scsi card to work and what model it may be so I can get an idea what to get. Hi, yea I have turned off all Sata and Raid controllers even serial and parrell ports to free up IRQ settings with no luck. Also, I can access the motherboard bios when I do not have scsi card installed, but when I boot up with the scsi card in pci slot and try to go into the motherboard bios my computer just locks up everytime not allowing me to get into bios. In addition, I have been using scsi for many many years with previous computer setups never having a issue with the scsi card rom not being invoked. The scsi card rom settings allow me to turn of any Boot, IRQ settings, or vendor ID settings but by doing this I cant not have a fixed drive number in Windows Xp which does not allow the scsi hard drive to convert to dynamic disk for mirror or stripping.

Upon power-on, the screen gives PF keys, which enable me to enter the BIOS: F1 – System Information > Clock still has correct date and time. F2 – Startup Check -> Both HD and RAM OK F9 – Change Boot Device Order -> Can change device order, but it still won’t boot or respond to a System Recovery DVD in a USB DVD. ( Notebook DVD stopped working before this problem happened.) F10 - Enter Setup F11 – System Recovery – Two choices, but <enter> and arrow keys do not work. (They DO work with other F-selections, but not with F-11 menu) (1) Continue with System Resume (2) Delete Restoration Data and Proceed to System Boot OTHER OBSERVATION: When access PF1, I get the BIOS. If I exit and save with PF10, I get a brief flash of error messages, then it goes back to the PF-selections and eventually to the blank screen. DKA790GX PCI to PCI Bridge issue

I get a DKA790GX Platinum with vista ultimate x64 (EN/FR) and 8GB RAM + Phenom 9950 BE.
I decided to build soft Raid 5 with sil3132 chipset via e-sata support connected to a raid box with 4 sata 2 drive
I installed this additional card on a PCI-E slot
Now I obtain an unknown device PCI to PCI Bridge that I could not update anyway. I browse some forum about related issues and many users upgrade bios to resolve conflict
So I updated my bios to version 1.3. Operation has successfully completed but my problem still remain
Th silicon device is recognized I can browse and build Raid group but, I stuck to 18MB/s that's far away from 3Gb.
I think this bottlekneck is due to bad PCI brigde

MSI 890FXA-GD65 PCIe speed issue!! HELP PLEASE

I just finished building my new PC using this said motherboard. After a clean OS install, all updated drivers, etc... my PCIe link speed is stuck @ 8x. I have done everything possible to trouble shoot this issue, and no matter what I do (I played with PCIe MHz speed in Bios, put card in another slot, etc) it seems to be stuck on 8x speed. Im thinking since this is such a new motherboard, and no BIOS's are out for it yet, that this may be a BIOS issue, and I just need to wait for MSI to correct this???? Any suggestions ya'll?? TY

New system, MSI X800XT PCI-E Issues

Hi there!
I just bought a new motherboard, new ram, new cpu and new videocard and was eagerly wanting to set this stuff up.
My system is now as follows:
Motherboard: MSI 925X Neo-54G
CPU: P4 3.40Ghz (1 Mb L2 Cache) (Socket 775)
RAM: 1 GByte DDR2 533
Video Card: MSI RX800 XT-VTD256 (ATI Radeon X800XT PCI-E)
I put everything up and working and installed Windows XP w/ SP2. Installed every driver needed from the motherboard CD, went to ATI's site and downloaded the latest Catalyst Drivers, etc.
After having everything apparently working as it should, I downloaded 3dMark 2005 to see how it went. I had never used the 2005 version before so I wasn't too shocked to see it only got like 3200 points although I was kinda suspicious after seeing some of the tests going at like 1 fps.
I went back to another PC I have at home (a socket 478, P4 3.0Ghz, Asus P4C800 mobo, 1 GByte DDR400 Ram and a GeForce 6800 Ultra). Ran 3dMark 2005 and to my amazement, it got like 4400 points.
Well, double checked everything on the catalyst control panel (nothing really useful there)... then went back to the BIOS setup to investigate what is not working as it should. MSI boards have that nifty Dynamic Overclocking thing and so I turned it on. My BIOS settings are now as following (only listing settings I have doubts on):

I'm not really interested in overclocking and I am really convinced this hardware should be able to beat my other one easily with default operating status.
Also, I tested this PC's performance with Rome: Total War and it is just as 3dMark had showed, it performs worse than the other pc I mentioned, with the same exact settings.
Any help please?

Report Writer Issue

Hi Gurus,
I have created report ZTEPCA12 with report writer .When i check the syntex i am getting the error.
The key figure cell ZTEPCA12 has not yet been defined
Message no. GR687
Can any one please tell me where do i need to define this.

Hi,
Go into GR32, select the report you have created in change mode. Go to the columns, and view the key figure set. In there you would have defined a set of key figures, which are basically value fields.
The reason for the error could be that you have entered a key figure set there but not defined the set with the key figure fields or you would not have entered a key figure set in the report itself.
Go into GS02 and enter the set name and include the key figures in the column From value from the table defined in the set.
If the set does not exist then create a key figure set with key figures.
