Nhl gamecenter app problem

When im logging in with my gamecenter live account the app doesn't verify my account. There is just a loading screen which says 'verifying your account' and nothing doesn't happen. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.
If this doesn't work, I'd contact the app developer with your problem.

Verizon NHL Gamecenter App

I downloaded the NHL Gamecenter app, and i thought the problem was on Verizon's end, and they said it was on apple's end. When I press for the upgrade, it prompts me to input apple password for purchase. I am an avid hockey fan, and one of the reasons I downloaded the app, was because i have a verizon phone, i'd get the premium features.

In order for you to update an application purchased from the iTunes store you must supply the Apple ID and password that was used to purchase it in the first place. If you do not remember the password, you can recover it using the steps in this article -

NHL Gamecenter Live problems

Curious if anyone began to have problems with NHL Gamecenter Live last night. I was able to watch games through aTV2 until about 9:30 PM EST last night, and then, all of a sudden, when I go into the games option to attempt to watch live content, I get a message that NHL Gamecenter Live is currently unavailable. I can still pull up the other menu options, including standings and game highlights, but I could not pull up any of the late games last night. Any help or info on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I run Firefox 8, Windows Vista, and the aTV2 4.4.3 (3323) update. Thanks in advance!

I am seeing the same thing. I keep getting kicked out of GameCenter live and can't log in again.

Nhl gamecenter app - game highlights not playing!

It used to work but for whatever reason this year it doesn't.
Whenever i try to watch a games highlights, it fails to progress passed the start of the 15 second ad, the screen is black with the timer stuck on 15 seconds.
I have an iphone 4 with latest ios.

Ask the app developer or look at their support site, since you're using a 3rd party app.

ATV 2, new iOS 5.0, still no NHL Gamecenter in my country

Hi, I recently updated my ATV2 to the newest software ver. 5.0, hoping that NHL Gamecenter app will be supported in my Czech itunes store account. But, it is not, unlike MLB, NBA which Im not interested in. It's only available in US.
On whose side is the problem, Apple or NHL? I have Gamecenter complete season subscription, payed by my czech credit card- gamecenter obviously supports my country.
Is there any workaround? Who should I contact? Switching two countries, one for Gamecenter, one for iTunes match where i must repeatedly fill my pass is driving me crazy.

So on second try, they answered me this:

From that it looks like the problem is on Apple side, right? Nhl gave them app, apple is allowing the app only for americans.
It makes sense, i played with GameCenter Live app for iOS (which is available in Czech iTunes Store) and i found out that it checks my location everytime i launch it. If i set location settings to off, the app wont launch.
Is there any way how to ask Apple technical support for free?

NHL Gamecenter Upgrade

I have the NHL Gamecenter app, and I dont have access to the premium upgrade, that comes along with the verizon plan. As a huge hockey fan, it is very frustrating that I can't access these features

NHL Gamecenter Premium Upgrade

As a huge NHL fan, I use the NHL Gamecenter app quite a bit. I recently upgraded my phone to the LG G2, and now I can't seem to get any of the content that comes with the Premium upgrade that I believe I'm supposed to get for free as a Verizon customer. When I navigate to the section that has "Verizon Exclusive" content, I get a message that tells me I need to be a Verizon customer to access that content.
So, from what I can tell, either I'm confused about the Verizon free premium upgrade, or for some reason, the app doesn't seem to be able to recognize me as a Verizon customer.
Any ideas on how to get the free premium upgrade on my new device?

I would love to answer your questions about your premium content on the NHL mobile application. Are you still having issues with the access to the NHL Gamecenter Premium content? If so when you open the application after downloading it there should be two options. One options is for NHL Gamecenter Premium that should not have a subscribe option next to it. Does it show subscribe next to NHL Gamecenter Premium? What price plan do you have? Are you connected to wifi when you download and open the application? Keep me posted.

Can you stream live radio broadcasts of NHL games? Premium only includes live video broadcasts for national NBC games. To be able to live video stream all the other out-of-market games, you would need an NHL GameCenter Live subscription.
There are two different access levels for the NHL GameCenter app. One is called NHL GameCenter Live and the other is called NHL GameCenter Premium. Here are the differences:
Live: Live out-of-market game video, home and away broadcasts, access on multiple devices, all NHL GameCenter premium content

Serious problems with NHL Gamecenter Live App

Refund for NHL Gamecenter Live.
I have been having countless issues with this seasons (2013) edition of NHL Gamecenter Live. Apple seriously needs to look at all of the complaints and negative reviews of this app and find some way to provide refunds to those of us that spent $50 to view NHL hockey. There seems to be no recourse for users who purchased this app/subscription and Apple needs to step in and 'make things right' for all of us that are suffering with this disaster of a product.
As an example, I can watch games on my iPad but when I try to view that very same game on my Apple TV, it says that it is blacked out in my area. Really? I can watch it fine on my iPad in the same room, yet it's blacked out on a device not 20 feet away? I can sometimes use Airplay and stream from my iPad to the Apple TV but the video lags so bad it's virtually useless.
Come on Apple, just look into this issue and notify all of us 'suckers' that bought this app as to the status of either getting it fixed or providing us all refunds of our $50.

The Gamecenter Live service on Apple TV is an absolute travesty. Likewise, I also am getting blacked out on games on my apple tv, where I can watch no problem on my ipad & computer. When I finally get through to a game, the quality is glitchy, the game is more than 2-minutes behind LIVE, and often cuts out.
I have been a huge supporter of Apple for many years, owning 3 MacBook's, 2 iPhone's, an iPad, an Apple TV and a handful of accessories. But, what has been happening to their products over the course of the past 6-months has me wondering when my time to switch will be. There are a lot of great competitors out there that seem to have a better grip on making things work, as of late. As a consumer, thats what I want, something that works.
Apple must do something for all the frustrations it has caused me and many others as of late, and it better be soon. Otherwise, I will be jumping ships.

NHL Gamecenter Live

Is anybody else having issues with the NHL Gamecenter Live app with regards to verifying your account while signing in? I seem to only get to the "verifying your account..." in the pop up screen while trying to sign in and not get any farther...? Perhaps Apple and Gamecenter need an update to fix the issue? Please help!

I would contact customer support for NHL Game Center. If they refund your money it should be credited back to your account.

Here's the thing: if you want to get the audio in sync again, FFWD or REW one click, and then quickly hit play. It might take a second or two to start playing, but the A/V should be in sync again - I'll take a manual remote action and a few seconds wait over off-sync audio any day.
And... the goofy part is that it will usually stay that in sync until the next commercial break... it always seems to lose sync during the silent "will be back soon" screen before coming back to the live action.
I've never had good luck with the ATV client. I usually end up streaming from my iPad and watching it on the ATV via AirPlay instead.

NHL Gamecenter Live on ATV2 Freezing

I am able to watch NHL Gamecenter Live on other devices (iPhone, iPad, iMac and XBox) without any problem. But on the ATV2, the picture freezes about every 30 seconds to a minute. This lasts for about 15 seconds then picks up where it had frozen. I eventually have to exit and restart to get back to live action. I have tried connected to Ethernet and through WIFI and also have the same problem when watching through Airplay from the iPad.

The NHL decided not to stream any games via GameCenter LIVE for the 2012 playoffs; their official position is that NBC is broadcasting all of them nationwide (nationwide broadcasts are always unavailable on GameCenter), so there's no need for online streaming. It'll be back next year, but I've found the video quality for GameCenter to be *awful*. The NHL isn't taking online video particularly seriously, and charging *way* too much for a choppy video feed.
In fairness, I haven't tried GameCenter on the AppleTV yet (I ran into the same problem trying to reactivate my account that you did), but using a 2010 MacBook Pro to display their video on an HDTV was useless; the video would stutter every few seconds, making it really hard to follow the play.

NHL GameCenter audio sync issues

NHL GameCenter audio is slower than the video on Apple TV. I even swiched to connecting the AppleTV to my Airport via Ethernet to eliminate any transfer issues.
NOTE - if I watch the game on my XBox or MB Pro - no issues.
