NI Switchs Topology error

Dears,
i have problem and i need your support as soon as possible.
i have NI PXI 1044 with many relays, Dmm, F Gen and DC PSU ....
and it was working properly but i decid to change the devices names Via Max to make it easy to remmember. I do that bu right click on the device and click Rename. the names of the relays and all devices is updated directly on the the VI.
but when i have changed the names my helthy VI start giving me this Error (as an Examble for the switchs)
ERROR: Error -1074118644 occurred at niSwitch Initialize With Topology.vi
Possible reason(s):
No legacy device supports the specified topology. Use a different topology, or configure the device under DAQmx and use the DAQmx resource descriptor.
Status Code: -1074118644
what is the peoblem and how to fix it ?
Note: the VI was OK before i changed the names.

This error you are getting is related to the way you are addressing your instruments. The modular instruments drivers use NI-DAQ to detect and communicate with the hardware.
Here is a KnowledgeBase that describes this issue:

With the name changes in Measurement and Automation Explorer, you need to go back into your code and verify that the instruments/devices are referenced correctly.

Switch Theme Error

Getting Switch Theme Error when trying to switch theme in Application >Shared Components>Themes>Switch Theme. I do not see the default themes, even though they are installed in the workspace.
What do I do wrong?

You have to have more than one theme defined in the application in order to switch themes. If you are at Home>Application Builder>Application XXX>Shared Components>Themes and you only see one theme in that report then you should use the Create button and proceed with that wizard.

Switch Workspace error message after update to 4.5.1

I don't think this is a big deal compared to some of the other upgrade issues people seem to be having, but when I launch 4.5.1 I get the "Switch Workspace" error message. Checking the box seems to make it go away the next time I launch FB 4.5.1.
When I upgraded from FB4 to FB4.5 I exported my workspaces/projects over a new directory, which was kind of a pain. Checking that "Do not... " is probably the better approach if it doesn't affect the workspace.

Digital Editions is supported via webcase only, at http://www.adobe.com/support/contact. There is no phone support, so if you phoned support and were given an incorrect answer we'd like to know (the correct answer would have been to create a support case for you!)
If you have more specifics on where you were told that there was no support except forums please let me know so we can attempt to correct it.
What we now have on this thread are two different errors, probably unrelated.

"441 Could not authenticate..."
This means that the request back to the authentication server failed for some reason. There can be a number of reasons for this. If this is an ebook from a vendor contact the vendor first and make certain it's not an activation error on their end. Also check to see if you get similar errors on the free books at http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/. Errors with the free books would indicate a possible network problem such as a firewall or some caching preventing the call back to the activation server from working.

Are you using EOIO for this scenatrio.
In this case you have to cancel/delete the first message which is in holding state.
If you are not using EOIO and still the messages are in holding state then the receiver system must accept the message (in your cae the DB)

BPM switch gives error.

Hello everyone.
I have a BPM scenario where I use a switch. Based on content in the received message I would like to either perform a transformation or cancel the process.
But whenever I activate my scenario and look in SXI_CACHE, the BPM scenario shows error 99. Looking further into the error, it displays this message: 'VALIDFORARCHVING' is not a component of data object 'PAYLOAD'
Currently I'm checking the value through a context object, but I've also tried checking it with XPATH and through a BPM variable. Still I've got the same problem.
What am I missing in my setup?

Iphone 4 switched off error message code 21

i phone 4 just switched its self off and wont restart and when connected to itunes for reboot we get error message code 21

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

WLC 5508 centrally switched client errors

Hello,
I am having trouble with a newly configured install. Basically it seems that my centrally switched guest SSID is not functioning. As you change AP groups, which should change the interface associated with the SSID and also the dhcp client address, the client is retaining the original dhcp address from whichever AP group they first associated with.
I also have a locally switch WPA2 SSID at each location which is working fine. Clients are able to change dhcp address correctly as they move between AP groups. It just doesn't seem to be working on the guest network, which is odd because it was working earlier in the install. It has only started having issues yesteday afternoon.
It does not always coincide with the guest errors but I am generating these logging errors:
*DHCP Socket Task: Aug 17 15:09:23.526: %SIM-3-DHCP_SERVER_NO_REPLY: sim_interface.c:1039 Failed to get DHCP response on interface 'may89-guest_vb_122'. Marking interface dirty.
The interface above is assigned to the guest SSID in one of the AP group. I assume this has something to do with it but I've been over my DHCP assignments on the core switch, local switch, controller, and dhcp server and can find no issue with the configuration.....Also the fact that it was working earlier this week.
I also seem to be generating a high amount of:
*dot1xMsgTask: Aug 17 14:46:22.844: %DOT1X-3-MAX_EAPOL_KEY_RETRANS: 1x_ptsm.c:456 Max EAPOL-key M1 retransmissions exceeded for client xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
I am not sure why as I am not using DOT1X at all. The guest is a pass-thru and the WPA2 network is just WPA + WPA2 with TKIP and AES. No DOT1X anywhere on the controller...

I think I might know what to do. Could I just create an interface group for each controller and place all of my individual guest interfaces within that group. Then I could just assign that interface group to each of my AP groups so every AP group would have access to all of the guest interfaces on the controller. I think the reason it is not currently working is because the AP group at my location is set to a specific interface and the ip addresses when I roam are from different interfaces not set for the AP group. I am basically being blocked by the AP group/guest interface because my ip address belongs to the wrong interface.
I think an interface group would solve that problem. The only other issue would what if I roam to an AP group on the other controller. Could I just set up a mobility group and place both controllers in that group? If they both have the UP status in the same mobility group would that allow inter-controller roaming?

FM - Switch Status error....

In Cisco MDS FMS running on Windows 2003 Server, I see errors like "UknownUSer Name(Server), "Invalid Auth Password or Wrong Digest (Server)" under Status column against each switches and they are yellowed out and errors are occuring randomly. Switches are configured for TACACS authentication and they working fine.
But when I launch the FM installed on my laptop and login, I do not see those errors.
Could someone explain what causes those errors to come.

But AAA (tacacs+) uses Windows AD here. So, whenever a CLI user is created , automatically MDS creates an SNMP user (which I think is temporary) or vice versa. When it is automatically created, why do i need to create one more...would it not amount to duplication
Or are they temporary ?
Do you mean to say "create permanent users' using snmp-server command.
If that is going to be the case,then how the passwords will be synchronised between CLI users (AD users via TACACS+) and SNMP users...i know some automatic synchronization happen implicitly.
Also, I read the following Note from Cisco MDS config guide 3.0
For an SNMPv3 operation using the external AAA server, user configurations in the external AAA server require AES to be the
privacy protocol to use SNMP PDU encryption.

Topology error - Topology example 12

I'm trying to run through the examples in the Oracle Topology manual: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e11831/sdo_topo_concepts.htm#CIHEIGCD Examples 1-12 & 1-13. I've tried running the examples in both Oracle 11.1 & 11.2 with no success. In all cases I get the following error when executing the procedure in step 4. of example 1-12:

I had this same problem back in March.
SDO_TOPO.ADD_TOPO_GEOMETRY_LAYER throws table not found on 11gR2
You just need to grant to your user the the "CREATE VIEW" privilege.

Manually fix the description on one side so that both side look equally. (just conf term not conf sync)
Then it shoul sync again. But try to sync from both switches - I've the situation that it config sync succseeds from one side but not from the other.

Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2 - Network Topology error

He dears,
My Customer has installed over UCS Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2.
The network is composed with Switches nexus 93962-px and 2960x. All devices were discovered and inventoried successfully.
The problems is that Network Topology is not showing the connections between devices. Some devices connections are showed (partially) and another not.
We've already checked that CDP is run and working fine on all of switches.

I'm sorry to say that but Prime Infrastructure does not support IP SLA functionality similar to Cisco Prime LMS:

It's in the developer's plans but there's no schedule yet for this feature.
It's possible to manually configure IP SLA on the device and then define Custom SNMP templates in Prime Infrastructure and poll whatever information you might consider relevant.
This isn't user friendly (exact OID needs to be typed manually) and is a bit quite complicated, though.

Switch Boot Error--no such file or directory

Hi,
I have upgraded the firmware of 3500 xl switch. When i reset the switch its going to switch: prompt and giving the No such file or directory erro.
Whereas if i see dir flash: the ios file is listed there.
I am attaching the detail observation/error file for reference.

It's rather strange for me because I set up the bandwidth setting only once (while creating a virtual network adapter port profile) and I even don't know what does mean
"...bandwidth settings of logical switch" - I haven't seen such setting in a virtual switch properties... ???

Desktop Software v4.7: Device Switch Wizard ERROR

Switching between Blacberry devices; I connect my old Blackberry 8320 and select Start. It runs through 3 or 4 tasks and when it comes to Searching for Available SoftwareI receive this error message;
"Handheld Application Loader Wizard has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I de-selected the software upgrade options and received the same message.
I have tried it with Mass Storage Mode on and off.

Typically, you'd want to do that action just once...to initially get your data over to your BB. After which you'd want to use a different (and compatible) PIM to manage the data on your PC. I'm thinking that perhaps you should do that -- or perhaps, given the error, move your data from your Palm PIM to a compatible PIM:
