Recommend a free online book

I read the tutorial on Java Security but I couldn't understand it. I think I have to know first what authentication, authorization, SSL (and other related matters) are and how they work. Online Booking Schedule System

Hi guys,
I've been trying to figure out if there's a way in creating an online booking system for appointments. What I want is to set certain time slots of the week, for customers to book in a time for meeting. For Example, Monday 9am-10am , 11am - 12pm, 3pm - 4pm...etc and when a customer books the time 9am - 10am, then that time slot will not longer be available to book.
I've been reading a few discussion threads, but they don't seem to have been answered. Any help would be great. Thanks

If you don't need BC integration google calander has a few booking add ons (some free some not)... I've not used them before

There's a whole lot to read in your post, and frankly I have not read it all.
Having said that, this troubleshooting guide should help:

In particular, pay attention to the mobile device support sections near the bottom, assuming you have already done the items above it.

i am tryin and completing the online book catalog example given in sap help but i'm facin a prob with the internal table authors.can anybody tell mye the exact way to declare and use it in the program.its quite diff to describe the exact situation but i think the experienced ones will be able to understand my prob.

if the navigation between pages are not working, the reason could be that the code in oninputprocessing is not maintained properly. if you just copy paste the code from the online tutorial it should work.

to resolve this place HTTP break point in the code in oninputprocessing and run your application, click the button to navigate to other page, watch in the debugger as to whats going wrong.

Does anyone know a good online book/tutorial for java programming for beginners. and im looking for something about OOP structure or something. so for the absolute beginner. i dont know any other languages.
but i don't mean learning the language itself (i dont know what to call it, but i mean the keywords and how to declerate a class and stuff like that.)
I hope i'm being clear.

It depends on what books you're referring to. All books from the iTunes Store are downloaded to your iPad and except for any special features the book may contain that requires an Internet connection will be readable without such a connection.
If you're talking about books from some other source, we'd need to know the source before we could offer opinions.

Online booking appointments

I have a request for online booking of appointments. As far as I can see, the booking-module doesn't cover this. Can anybody tip me about a good solution to this? Thank you

Business Catalyst can not do that and I'm not sure of any workarounds. BC can only book events, but not the open calendar type of bookings.
