Nightmare trying to set up several ipads on one apple id/card
Hi
I have 5 x ipads to set up I want to use 1 x Apple ID/email and credit card is this possible?? I have tried but only managed to get 2 not 1gb of data on one machine!! It would seem rather long winded to have to set up seperate email/apple accounts.
Can anyone help?

I cant see a way of setting up multiple ipads without having to create multiple apple ID's and thus muliple mail accounts.
I set up one ipad with no problem whatsoever, but when I tried to set up the 2nd unit using the same Apple ID and credit card my carrier simply duplicated the data on the initial ipad. It appears that I need a seperate apple account to set up each ipad. Sorry I does seem a bit strange, eventually each ipad will be used by individuals and thier own apple id's but i dont want them to use the companies Credit, see the problem or am I missing something, any help would be appreaciated:)

Yes you can contact Apple UK at daytime, for free, in the Chat.
Just go to the iPad page, then press buy now in the upper right corner, and then in the upper right corner you will see the phone number, and next to it,(only at daytime) you will see a button, writing something like contact else, I don't really know what is the exact label, but it works.

hey all just trying to set up my ipad synced up with itunes but now if i try to download any apps i put my password in then comes up with unknown error and wont download any help would be great
Reset your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
i am trying to set up iTunes match on my apple tv, but it just keeps showing that it is loading, it has been running for over an hour, what can be done here, it has gone with no problem on my iPhone, iPad but not the tv

I have two iPads and one apple ID. How can I FaceTime to/from each iPad without creating a new apple Id. Anyone know a way around this I.e trying to FaceTime 2 IPads that have the same apple id associated with them?

I am trying to log into my IPad using my apple ID and password to download updates, which I have done before, but it brings up my daughters ID instead of mine? What do I do to get it to bring up my apple ID.
Could it be that you or your daughter used your daughters Apple ID to install these apps? Make sure that your Apple ID is set up in "Settings > iTunes & App Stores" then delete the Apps when your daughters ID appears and then re-download them again by using your own Apple ID. This should fix the problem.

Please advice is it possible to use two iPads under one Apple account in Apostore ? It's necessary for me to get the same apps for my iPad and for my wife's one.you can do this with no problems. i have several 4 ipads/iphones all using the same apple account with no issues. in itunes you can choose which apps go to each ipad/iphone - by default all apps go to each, but you can turn this off and choose what you want. a bonus of using the same account is that if you do want the same app, you only have to buy it once.

I have 4 iPads and one apple Id. Two the devices record clash of clans and dragonvale individually and the other two are tied to the other two. Drives my kids nuts. How do I fix this?
Also, I'd prefer to keep the same ID on both so I will keep access to my calendar/contacts/etc on both devices. Would I be able to share reminders and voice memos and the like as well? And how often would they update each other? If I edit a contact on the 5, and the 4 is in wifi, assuming they're both on my same ID, will the contact update on the 4?

You won't lose anything, however all purchases are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them originally so future updates of your existing apps will still require the password for your old ID (whether you are still using it for purchasing or not.

Sign out of the Apple ID on the device in question, making sure to disable the Find My iDevice feature.
Sign in with the new Apple ID.
If the intent is to sell the device, simply restore as new after disabling the Find My iDevice and signing out. -

I seem to be stuck in apple ID ****. First the password was expired only two minutes after I finished setting up the account and then the new password was invalid. I don't know what to try next but this is making me crazy. And I'm locked out for eight hours for too many attempts at answering questions that I never set up in the first place. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Some glitch occured and you have to restore/erse the iPod. Y will have to restore from an existing backup if y ohave one.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
