    I just recently started college and recieved the Creativeu Suite 4 Master Collection software for my Web Design classes. So I installed the software rebooted and ran Photoshop accepted the license agreement inputted the serial and clicked ok to activate. Nothinig happened, the software never loads. I tried with every application that requires the serial like Dreamweaver etc. Same with all of them they all ask for me to accept the license agreement and input the serial and then activate then when I click ok for the program to open absolutely nothing happens! So I researched the help faqs and support forums n stuff and found a few things to change permissions and delete some caches etc etc and reinstalled like 5 times nothing seems to be working. I am not stupid with computers by any means either. I know exactly what I'm doing, however, I can't figure out what the hell the problem is. So I just signed into my adobe account and registered the product online thinking that might work and nope, same story. If anyone has any idea what is going on can you please help me. My Intro to Web Design class started today and I have no Photoshop and that's the main subject of this class! It does sound like some kind of permissions issue or maybe something in the registry or something like that I have no clue all I know is I have a $1,500 piece of useless software installed! So please help me!

    You should try using a different browser and see if you get the same delay.  Waiting for the download should not involve keeping track of time on a calendar.

    Acrobat 9, not be "new", won't be in the trial.
    Should you purchase CS5, Acrobat 9 Pro will be on the install media.

    My windows 7 operating system became corrupted and I needed to do a fresh installation of both the operating system and the the creative suite.
    After installing both the operating system and the creative suite I received an error saying that the program has not installed correctly and to contact support.
    I contacted support and I was told support wouldn't help me correct the problem and to ask the forum on how to fix this issue.
    Any help on how to resolve this issue would be great!

    I decided to completely reformat my pc and install the creative suite from scratch:

  • Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection disables autorun during installation

    This is on a completely fresh installation of windows 7 x64.
    Before installing Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection x64 autoplay for my camera works, after installation it does not work.  If I uninstall it, it works again.
    Where is this program disabling autorun for devices.  Autorun for flash drives works fine, its just the non-volume devices that are affected.
    I tried using gpedit and reg keys to re-enable autoplay for the camera but it does not work.
    When I plug my camera in, I can still go to my computer I can get my pics without any issues, its just that this is bugging me.
    Don't think there is an answer out there, guess I just need to not be so OCD with this stuff.

    From what I can tell, the problem is very much related to the way the 32-bit applications of Bridge, Premier and Elements interact with the 64-bit OS when it comes to autoplaying.  Looking at event viewer logs and what not shows that the autoplay process effectively crashes or locks up when it attempts to initialize with the Adobe applications in the list.
    Anyway, without futher ado, the steps to "correct" the problem.
    NOTE: This will remove the autoplay functionality for Bridge, Premier, or Elements (which didn't work with non-volume devices in x64 anyway).  Also, this requires going into the Windows registry to fix.  If you are not comfortable doing so, then find a techy friend to assist you.
    1.) Open Registry Editor
    2.) Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ EventHandlers \
    3.) Right click on EventHandlers, select export, choose a location, and name and save the file.  This will save a backup of the registry keys/values you will be deleting should you want to restore them later.
    4.) You'll have to go key by key, but you'll want to look for values that contain "Bridge", "Premier", or "Elements" (or other Adobe Products) and remove them.
    5.) Now, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ Handlers \

    6.) This time you will be deleting any keys (they look like folders) that contain "Bridge", "Premier", or "Elements" (or other Adobe Products) and remove them.
    7.) Close the Registry Editor and reboot.
    You should now find that your Autoplay functions work perfectly with non-volume devices again.

    I'm afraid that Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effect won't smooth as expected because Adobe recommends 8 GB of RAM but I have only 4 GB.
    Are the Premiere Pro and After Effect will run smoothly in my PC? or I must use Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection?
    P.S. I don't want to upgrade RAM to 8 GB.
