Nike + iPod tab missing in iTunes 11

What happened to the nike + ipod tab for my iPhone in iTunes 11? I upgraded to iTunes 11, my iPhone 3GS is on iOS 6.01 and I no longer see the Nike + iPod tab in iTunes to sync my workouts to Nike+.

It looks like in iOS 6 on my iPhone the Settings has a section for Nike + iPod where you configure the upload workout data to Nike+. Apparently this function now works directly from the iPhone rather than through iTunes.

I install iTunes 10.7.0.21 at another computer and I watch tab Nike+iPod.
Is iTunes 12.1.1.4 not compatible with ipod nano 6G ?

When I click on the iPod tab/button in iTunes in order to set up download the tab/button simply disappears

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

How to Remove Nike +Ipod Tab from Itunes, Iphone Summary folder

I stupidly plugged in my Iphone 3Gs to a new Matrix Nike bike at the gym. When I sync'd my Iphone to my desktop Imac today I noticed this new tab (Nike +Ipod) in my Iphone summary folder menu tabs.
The built-in Nike app that is listed in settings on my Iphone is off. I'm not interested in tracking my workouts or anything from Nike. Just want the folder tab gone from Itunes.
How do I delete this tab from Itunes on my computer?

I too tested out the nike+ and want to remove the tab that has now appeared in my iTunes summary!
I turned off the the app on my iPhone and still it appears. Nothing in Prefs either.

IPOD TAB MISSING

Hi, i have just recently bought an ipod video and i wanted to change my settings to download music and pictures manually and i found out that you had to go to edit/prefernces/ipod tab . But when i went to preferences all of the tabs are there except for the tab titled iPod and it is supposed to be there
This is causing me alot of fustration and i dont know how to fix it could somebody please help me out

In iTunes 7, the iPod settings are no longer in the Preferences. The iPod should appear in your Devices list on the left in iTunes. You click on it, and make any settings changes in the main iTunes window. If the iPod is not showing up in iTunes, look to see if it is showing in Windows Explorer, and that will determine which one of these articles you should follow:

Ipod song missing on itunes

I want to sync my ipod touch with a different itunes library. I plugged my ipod in the computer and my itunes started transferring my purchased items off of my ipod. I looked at my music and one song that I recently bought and downloaded on my ipod touch was missing. I tried syncing it again and nothing. I have tried to restart my computer and my ipod and nothing. I can't seem to get it to work. Any help?

iTunes will only let you copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer. For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here (you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well):

Why is my "info" tab missing on iTunes when I connect my phone?

It sounds like you have the latest version of iTunes on Mavericks and iOS 7.0.4 on your phone and do not have an Info tab in iTunes to sync your calendar to your device. Mavericks does not use Sync Services so there is no Info tab to click in iTunes. Here is more info from an article explaining why there is no Info tab.

If you want to sync your information across multiple devices and computers, you should use one or more of these methods. Books tab missing in itunes 11.1.1.11

Hello,
When I try to select my books library I'm unable to view it in itunes as the tab is missing. I just have music, films, tv programmes and apps. How do I get it back please? I use a PC for syncing my iphone4S with itunes.

Honestly, if you don't need Mac OS X 10.7, don't worry about it. There are plenty of reasons to stick to 10.6, not the least of which is Rosetta, the program that lets you run 2005 and older PowerPC applications in the background. You can run it in 10.7 but not without a significant number of hoops.

Ipod 5G missing from itunes, freezes with 'do not disconnect'

my ipod simply cant be seen on itunes and whenever i plug it in, it will freeze with 'do not disconnect' and not able to do a legal,safe removel.
hav to remove it illegally and do the 'reset' to clear the 'do not disconnect' message.
ipod is still functioning and can only be charged using direct power, but will freeze when its plug into usb port.
any help on this?

this may seem crazy but.........i had a similar problem for quite a while. my ipod worked perfectly and then all of a sudden for no reason (i thought) my ipod would stall out. the do not disconnect would flash and i couldn't do anything. this happened to me regularly. i did the restore and all that jazz.
one day i was seriously in tears about it. my husband said he would mess with it and voila! it worked perfectly. was he magic? hardly but he took the case off of it. i didn't have a big hulking case but a rubberized one and i guess the bottom piece was just a bit off. it seemed to connect but in reality it wasn't making a good connection.
i took the case off and haven't used it since and have not had a similar problem. its a thought.........if you have a case or something that might be keeping it from making a good connection.

Ipod is missing in itunes..HELP!!

i've done everything...but still i cant seem to let my nano be visible for syncing in the itunes..in my computer,my ipod is visible....i tried running the diagnostics and it says that the ipod connection status is ok..since it's green...so that means,itunes detected my ipod,right?but how come it doesnt show? help plzz...

I've had this problem and given the advice to others and it has worked for some. This isn't mentioned in any other advice that I can see but it is a simple check that you should do, not very technical either!
With your iPod plugged in to the computer, first go through the 5R's and other help topics to check the basics (new cable, different computer, different USB port etc.)
If no luck, check to see if your iPod exists in Device Manager as follows: right-click on My Computer, then click on Manage, then Device Manager, then expand the section called Disk Drives on the right hand side and see if the iPod is shown there, if it is, go on to the next stage.
In the same Computer Management box, click on Disk Management on the left hand side, after a few seconds a new box opens on the right and should show all of the disks on your computer including the iPod. Then right-click on the iPod information and it will give you an option to Change the drive letter or path....click on that and then select Change; select a new drive letter which is not already assigned to any other disc (I picked Z down the bottom), save that then exit and see if it works. Nike fitness app missing in itunes

i just purchased a 7th gen ipod nano about a week ago. the first 3 runs were synch-ing to the nike plus website. however after a 10km run today, i could not get a response in the touch menu on the Music, Nike Fitness and the Photos side, but can do them on the 3 choices on the right column. please help.

Importing Tab Missing in iTunes 5.0.1

I am in the process of testing iTunes 5.0.1 before actually making the jump to the newer version due to all of the posts I have seen with regards to problems with this version.
So far, I haven't had any of the issues that have been mentioned here except for a really slow start up issue, however, I think I might have that resolved. However, the one issue I did see is that in iTunes Preferences, the Importing tab appears to be MIA. I have tried several things including putting a CD in the drive to get it to appear, but so far nothing has worked.
Has anyone else had this problem, or did Apple just move this somewhere else, and I just haven't found it yet?

IPhone 3g, Photos tab missing in iTunes

I've got a 3G iPhone and when I sync it with my computer there's not a photos tab anymore. I have the latest version 3.1.3 for the iPhone and I've been told that there should be a photo tab so I don't know what the problem is. Can someone help?

I have possibly the same problem. I noticed one thing, if you resize the window smaller there is no scroll bar to get to hidden tab. You also cannot use the keyboard to get to hidden tabs. You can also not make the iTunes window larger that the current resolution. The last tab I can see is actually 'Photo' wiht the 's' cut off but I seem to remember with some of my clients there was an advanced tab at the end with at least backup options.
My tabs are as following...
Summary, Info, Applications, Ringtones, Music, Films, TV Programmes, Podcasts, iTunes U, Photo
Hmmm, I thought of another way to get more room for the tabs, I moved the left vertical scroll bar all the way to the left. It seems that 'Photos' is the last tab. There should still be some way to go through to hidden tabs when your window is smaller. And where is the backup option? Not the option to encrypt the backup, since there is no backup yet.

exactly! the lyrics tab is one of the most important things for me and i guess anyone who listens to long mixes (as you have already mentioned). my fav tracks from hundreds of mixes are in the lyrics tab.
what third party software are you using to retrieve the data?

ITunes sees my iPod Nano 7th Gen, but there is no "On This iPod" tab to acces and manage what is on my iPod.

Ever since I used the pedometer there is a "Nike + iPod" tab but no "On This iPod" tab. I can't get in to delete or add media.

In case anyone has this problem, customer support enlightened me to "ctl + S" to bing up a side bar onthe left that now allows me to manage my iPod in iTunes.
