Nikon N1 30-110 lens profile?

I just upgraded to LR version 3.6.  All is well but I do not have a lens profile for the N1 30-110 lens.  Both the 10mm and 10-30mm are there.  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jack

Several options:
1.  Wait to see if Adobe provides a profile in the future.
2.  Use the Lens Profile Creator to create one.
3.  Use the Lens Profile Downloader to see if someone else has created one.

  • Lens Profiles not working in Lightroom 5.4?

I've got OSX 10.9.2, Lightroom 5.4, latest Camera raw, everything up to date.
When I "Enable Profile Corrections" for an image shot with a Sony a7r and Sony FE 55mm lens, it should automatically retrieve this profile:
      /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Sony/SONY (Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA) - RAW.lcp
Well, it doesn't.  The only Sony lens available in Lightroom's Lens Correction panel is "Sony DT 18-200mm."  But there are several dozen Sony lense profiles in the "Sony" directory.
And more puzzling, the camera "Make" menu lists 8 manufacturers (Apple, Canon, DJI, GoPro, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, Tamron) but leaves out a number of others — Fujifilm, Hasselblad, Leica, Mamiya, etc.
And as with Sony, only one Tamron lens is listed.
I've tried re-installing Lightroom fresh, and no luck.
Photoshop works fine and has all the lens profiles.
Anyone else noticing this?  Got a fix?

I only shoot in RAW, and I am having this same issue. I shoot Nikon with a Tokina lens. This morning, Tuesday October 14, 2014, I had this setting. I closed the program and restarted it, and now I only have Apple, Canon, DJI, GoPro, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, Tamron lens profiles. There was not an update, nor did I actually change any settings. What is going on here?
I talked to customer support, whom suggested that I was stoned out of my mind because these profiles do not exist in lightroom. I did as the rep asked, followed the link and downloaded the "new" profile. Now I can't get it installed. Meanwhile, my photos are waiting for me to edit them. Can someone please help out here?!

  • Nikon 7700 lens profile for CS6

I am operating CS6 and Camera Raw 8.5.0.236
When I am processing NRW images from my Nikon 7700 I select Lens Correction and am devised that there is no profile for this lens.
Various blogs suggest that my CS6 should be able to process 7700 images, with the necessary lens correction.
    What am I missing?
How do I get CS6 to understand that it can process NRW files with the Nikon 7700 lens profile?
Do I need a plug in? If so where is it and how do I install it?

    Hi David,
The Nikon Coolpix p7700 camera is supported and listed here:
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
By "supported" it means the camera profiles and images from this camera are supported in Camera Raw from the version specified in the above list. Lens profile support is separate (the list Jim posted), and this camera's lens was not profiled by Adobe. It is possible we may profile it if time and resources allow, but I cannot guarantee it will happen. Using a profile from one of the supported Coolpix camera lenses may not work because there may be differences between models (different optical formulas, focal lengths, etc.) that make using another profile unsatisfactory.
Another option is to search for a profile that another user has possibly created for this lens, or create one yourself using the Adobe - Adobe Lens Profile Creator : For Macintosh.
There is also a version of the ALPC for Windows.
    Regards,
    - Chris

There is a repository, it's accessible through CS5's lens correction plugin, and there doesn't appear to be one for this lens at that spot at the moment.

  • Nikon 50/1.4 D create lens profile

    Hi
I need to be able to get or create a nikon 50/1.4 D lens profil for Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 (15.1).
    Can anybody help me here?
    Michael

    thanks for fast response!
i dont think the program not recognising the lens setting is the problem because nikon camera allow you to manually put in the setting before shooting (focal length and aperture), so right now ALPC is doing fine putting them into group.
the thing that i am confused is we actually should "separate lcp file for each set so that you could apply them separately" as you said?
am not sure if i understand this correctly but so i should create for example 10 set and use them accordingly?
    eg.
use 45 f2.8 at minimum focus profile while i shoot similar to this condition versus another profile which optimise for 45 f11 at infinity?
i thought that we can combine them into one file and not having tons of small file?
(in the manual it says something about appending file but i could not get that to work. is that suppposes to work with zoom lens that has mutiple focal lengths only or it supposes to work with lens with mutiple apertures too?)
so i guess my basic question is:
how to get ALPC to recognise and combine the profile that shot using various aperture and focus distance? will ALPC do it automatically or else?
    regards

  • Using Lens profiles for Nikon D800 in Lightroom 3.6

When I use Lightroom 3.6 with pictures from Nikon D800, the lens profile for the Mikro Nikor 60 mm lens is not in the list of coice. However, when the picture is from a Nikon D5000, the same lens appears in the list. So, a lens profile exists, but is not open for pictures from the D800. How can I solve this problem? The same is true for the 18-200 mm lens, which however is not suited for the D800 due to heavy vignetting at wide angle, and with the 70-300 mm, which gives good results.

The D5000 is a crop sensor. The D800 is a Full-Frame sensor.  The Profile for D5000 cannot be "scaled" for a full-frame sensor: thus, it cannot be used.
Every lens has multipe profiles: 1 for Raw and 1 for Jpeg in each sensor size.  If one has not been created for your particular lens, camera a file format you have three options.
1: Download the Adobe Lens Profile tool from Adobe Labs and create on yourself. It isn't hard but it is time consuming.
2: Part of the Adobe Lens Profile tool is a Lens Profile Downloader where you can gain access to a community of people who have shared their lens profiles.
3: Wait for Adobe to include it in a dot release of Lightroom.
I checked and I did see the profile for your 60MM available via the downloader.

  • Lens profile for Nikon 12-24mm

I have Lightroom 3.6, which supposedly has a lens profile for the Nikon 12-24mm, but it doesn't show up on the list of available lenses within Lightroom.
How would I find and import that lens profile?

It shows up in my version of LR 3.2 (click image below) so should definitely be available in 3.6. It's listed near the bottom of the first section. Is that the lens you mean?

  • Lens Profile for Nikon Nikkor AF-S 18-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 G ED

    Hi,
I'am missing the Lens Profile for the above Lens from Nikon. The Lens is build since January 2013 and I hoped that the new Lightroom 5 includes a Profile für this lens.
Does anybody know when Adobe will update Lightroom with this Profile? Or does anybody has build his own Lens Profile?
    Best regards

  • Lens Profile for Nikon P7100

Looking for a lens profile for my Nikon D7100.  The default in LR 4 comes up with a P6000 and a different lens than my P7100.  Where can I find user developed profiles or those available from Adobe for download?

    Read here:
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/lensprofile_creator.html
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lensprofile_creator/
Add: I just checked and there is no profile available for the P7100. Unfortunately, nobody created one so far, so you'll have to do it yourself.

  • Lens profile for Nikon 18-105 1:3.5-5.6 urgently needed

Does anyone have lens profile for Nikon 18-105 1:3.5-5.6. Currently I don't have that lens, so I'm unable to create a profile on my own. Any help will be appreciated.

Nope, the settings has config info.  The downloaded profiles for ACR6.1 are located at the first path, and are the same as for CS5 lens correction.  I followed this process for both my 16-85VR and 55-200VR profiles, later deleted them, and then re-downloaded in an attempt to figure out the vignetting problem.  I did not see a 18-105 profile listed.

  • Lens Profile for Nikon 18-35 f/3.5-4.5

Will there be a lens profile available for the Nikon 18-35 f/3.5-4.5?  I am using LR5 & PS6.

Download and install Adobe Lens Profile Downloader 1.0.1.
With  this program you can download a lens profile for 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 FX format, raw type only and for DX format, raw and jpeg type.

Do you have the latest camera raw installed for Photoshop? If so, you can find the profiles in /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Nikon/ . Lightroom should recognize them if you move them into your home directory's Library folder in the exact same folder structure (but in the Library folder in your home directory). This is assuming you are using Mac OS X. No clue where these files would be on Windows. If you don't have Photoshop, you can install Camera Raw using the combined installer with DNG converter which is a free download from Adobe. This should (I think) give you the profiles in that exact location without owning Photoshop.

There currently isn't a profile available for download via the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader. You can create your own profile by downloading the Adobe Lens Profile Create from Adobe Labs.
