Nipalu.dll error upon loading .vi

Hello together,
Today when loading a Labview-Routine in LV2011 I recieved an error message telling me that a NIPALU.dll was not found.
The strange thing is that the program was running without any proplems in the past. So today until I had to restart the PC. After the reboot and trying to open the vi as usual, the above mentioned error occured. Restarting once more did not ressolve the problem... Inside the .vi files belonging to the routine, modules connected to a C-DAQ chassis are read out, a c++ subroutine (as .dll) is executed and only very basic functions are beeing executed.
I am now removing the labview version and installing the newest (LV2013 Fall) with the newest set of device drivers, but does anybody have an idea where this error could have come from and why? As I wrote, everything was fine and the program running as usual, retrieving data from the CDAQ modules and displaying the values, und then suddenly I permantently recieve this error after restarting the PC...
From what I found and read about this topic I found nothing that really could explain to me why and what caused that problem, so amy very thankful for any help and advice.
Thanks very much ahead!
Markus

ah, ok - there's a similarity. I use avast antivirus as well, so that might be the source of the problem. So what did you do exactly? you restored the NIPALU.dll and checked it in Avast AV as safe..?
Thanks!
That's it. I added SysWOW64/nipalu.dll as an exclusion and restored it by copying it from another PC.

  • Error upon loading a video from the iTunes in the cloud

I bought a movie called Epic and when I tried to play on my Apple TV via streaming from the iTunes in the cloud it was playing until yesterday it start displaying an Error message "Error upon loading this video content". How long does it take for that to be corrected?

OK well, I think all that stuff about licensing is not true, unless explicitly stated
Just working off a gut feeling (or perhaps just wishing it weren't true)?  I suggest actually checking:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=us+rip+dvd+legal
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act
Typically any mention of ripping DVDs may get a topic removed from the ASC forums since it is discussion of an "illegal activity" and subject to Terms of Use.
The key thing here is if you upload a file to your library, then try to replace that same file with the same file name, iTunes will ignore it and NOT overwrite the file that's already there. You have to delete the file off first and THEN add to library again.
Correct, iTunes works on a file basis not a track label basis.  That's why I said delete the old file.  You could have 20 identical files with the same name (in different folders) and iTunes will add them all right next to each other.  Nothing new in iTunes behavior there.  In fact if you had gone to the location where the media file was stored and copied a new one over the old one with the same name I believe iTunes would still know it wasn't the original.  You can, however, edit a file using a third party tool and save it in place and iTunes will accept the changes without having to re-add the file.

  • NIPALU.dll error on Install

I've seen a number of topics on this.  I haven't seen an answer that works for me.
I've written a new LabView 2011 application which is to run on a brand new Windows 7 PC.  No development environment on the target PC.
The program runs on the development PC.  I did a build.  The executable runs on the development PC.
I built an installer and included the NI LabView Runtime Engine 2011 and the NI Variable Engine 2.5.0.
The installer completes without error on the target PC.  The application fails immediately with the following message:
"The program can't start because NIPALU.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
    Reinstalling doesn't help.
The failing program tries to read/write shared variables.
Other programs that do not read/write shared variables run correctly on the target PC.
    Thanks for your help.

You can try adding the NI-VISA Runtime to your installer.

  • Oracle.DataAccess.dll Error upon Deployment

    Hi,
I have an application which has an optional Database Source setting (SQL | Oracle). The Oracle Database is used only when the application is set to run on Oracle Mode. My problem is when I deploy the application it seems that I need to install Oracle ODP.net even if I desired to run on SQL mode. I tried some work around, I copied Oracle.DataAccess.dll (without installing ODP.net) to the BIN folder of my application and deleting the Oracle reference at the assemeblies in the WebConfig. On the first run I get an error about oracle versions.. but when i refresh the page this error is gone.
Please advise me on what shall be done in this case. I want the on first load the error will be gone.
    Thanks

The Oracle.DataAccess.dll is variously located at
    client 9i it's at C:\oracle\ora9i\bin
    version 10.1 it's at C:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Client_1\BIN
Version 10.2 it's at C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\ODP.NET\bin\2.x for the .net 2.0 version.
There is also C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\ODP.NET\bin\1.x for the .net 1.1 version.
    I don't have version 11.x so I can't say for that release.
If you used different Oracle Home directories then your locations would be slightly different.

  • Error when loading cube

    I get the following error repeatedly when trying to load data into my copa cube;
InfoObject SALESDEAL does not contain alpa-conforming value 89866
The value (shown here as 89866) could be any number between 1 and 99999.  No matter what the number happens to be I'm getting this type of error.
FACTS: My infoObject (0SALESDEAL) length is set to 10 and the conversion routine is ALPHA which should pad with leading zeros.
Any ideas why this is generating an error upon loading?  Should I turn off the conversion routine?
    Thanks!

    Patrick,
This was happend because of Alpha Conversion as buddies said before.  Unfortunatley it happend on this infoobject and you will find some more as and when they get..
by default BW expects that R/3 will send the Alpha converted values.. (if the infoobject is 10 digits/chars ..r/3 will send exactly the same) .. if data gets loaded like say from flatfiles, the system will do it for you..
by checking the box in the Transfer Rules, we are proposing to the system to take care of alpha conversion for that infoobject even if the data comes from R/3..
hope I am not confused you..
    Regards

  • I am using a DLL from VC++ labview6.1 crash upon loading the DLL

Labview crashes when I load my DLL from VC++ that calls device net software. It is only _stdcall function. Sometime my whole PC crash upon loading it. I Appreciate any help from anyone......

Your problem is most likely caused by a memory error. Insure that you are passing the correct data types (especially pointers) into the Call Library Function and make sure that if the DLL is expecting any memory to be allocated that the proper data has been created in LabVIEW (for instance, if the DLL was expecting a string of a certain length, LabVIEW would need to create a string constant which was long enough to satisfy the DLL). Also insure that there are not any race conditions (conditions within LabVIEW in which the order of execution is not defined) which could cause your DLL to access memory which has not yet been allocated. You can generally fix race conditions by using sequence structures. Also, make sure that your DLL cleans up any memory that it all
    ocates.
    Hopefully that helps,

MSOLAP$LocalCube cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted.
    Hello,
It's just a guess: Power Pivot uses the MSOLAP = "Microsoft OleDB Provider for OLAP" and maybe that Provider is damaged on the machine. You may try to reinstall the Provider, you can get the installer named "SQL_AS_OLEDB.msi" from
    Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 SP2 Feature Pack  =>
    ENU\x86\SQL_AS_OLEDB.msi (for 32 bit)

  • Solved: "Error in loading DLL" adding vb Reference to Photoshop CS5.1 (CS5.5)

It took me a while to solve this so I thought I'd post the solution.
On two machines (one 32-bit the other 64-bit) running the new Phonoshop CS5.1 that ships with CS5.5, I had trouble adding a reference in vb (vba) to the Photoshop Object Library for scripting:
I would just get: Error in Loading DLL
It appears that on both machines, the CS5.5 installer incorectly referenced the dll which is called "ScriptingSupport.8li" (not exactly a .dll-looking name but anyway ;-)
The Adobe CS5.5 installer set the system registry to look for the file in:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Automate
    or
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1\Plug-ins\Automate
    but installed the file to:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Extensions
    or
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1\Plug-ins\Extensions
I copied ScriptingSupport.8li from the Extensions folder to the Automate folder and it started working.
Hope this helps someone else. :-)

  • Runtime Error in Vb6. Error Loading DLL Error Code 48

    Hi
We are facing an issue with one of the dlls hosted in Window 2008 Server R2.
To give a background. The application is a VB6.0 Application having ASP as the front end. There are over 5000 Dlls in the application and this is an application running for more than 20 years (but first time in Win 2008 R2). There has been no code changes
    or recompilation in the DLL.
The DLL that my ASP directly refers is VerificationApp.dll (This is a COM+ Dll). This inturn accesses a TaskVerification DLL (COM DLL-registered using regsvr32). When I do any operation on this page in this server, it shows me
Error Log. ID:(38718) Error in loading DLL:in:VerificationApp.clsVerificationApp.InsertUpdateDelete:Err:48
This happens only in this server. I have various different hosted instances of this which works perfectly Ok. I have tried many options as mentioend in the google
links, but nothing seemed to work. Pls suggest

What a nightmare..... Maybe it's time to rewrite the application.

I say you may have to go back to Bing or Google and search some more for
    a resolution.
The other thing is Win 2k8 server has security that may not allow access
to the registry, file system or resources without the proper permissions
in the context the program is running under. Win 2k8 server is not like
Win 2k3 server, Win 2k server or Win NT 4.0 server in this regard.
