Not able to add essbase server ( part of Planning installation)
Hi experts,
We have installed and configured the Essbase. We have started the services.
We are not able to add essbase server to EAS console. It is showing network error ..
When we see essbase log, we got the following error.
"Essbase global application does not exist at Shared Services"
If anyone faced this kind of an issue, please let me know what could be the reason.
Thanks,
Ganesh.Have you registered Essbase with shared services yet? Try re-registering essbase.

Jdeveloper is not able to find SOA server
I am trying to deploy Hello world BPEL project from Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 to standalone Weblogic server 10.3.6. Jdeveloper is able to list servers running (admin server and managed soa-server). However it is not able to find SOA server. I have verified that soa-infra is up and running.
While trying to find SOA server it fails with Null Pointer Exception with following stack trace:

i purchased i phone 3GS from San francisco thro my brother, when i brought to oman, i want to update ios 5 to ios 6 for that from itunes to start update , finally failed and i could not able to configure in oman wifi network, i dont have backup..help me..
Has your phone ever been hacked or jailbroken. This error message is what usually shows up for that. Are you using a supported carrier for the iPhone, or did someone hack the phone to unlock it to be used on another carrier. If that is the case, then there is no help you can get here as discussing hacked/jailbroken devices is not allowed.

Not able to add essbase server
Hi all,
Our security is with shared services when iam connecting with my user and my system password its connecting but iam not able to add essbase server its throwing error login fail
but with admin password every thing is fine
i refreshed users in EAS but iam not able to add essbase server
any help would be appriciated
Thanksthe user you were using to login to admin server might not be having access to the essbase server.
so make sure you were using the right user to connect to essbase server who is having access to essbase server.
like if you are using 'admin' user, check in shared services for the provision of admin user.
Check if he is having server access to that particular essbase server
or you can check by logging in with the same user through maxl.
in maxl, use the following login command and see if you were able to login or not.
login <username> <password> on <essbase server name>;

just got iPad 3.. not able to configure.. not able to connect to WiFi, at my location WiFi network exists with proxy settings.. pls Help
I'd talk to your school tech support and see what settings they have in place. For example, I can't access my work's e-mail via the exchange app but I can via the web access...largely because it's not a work iPad and they won't allow that kind of access on a device that's not 'their own'

Re: Dynadock not able to configure properly external monitor
Dear Sir/Madam,
I found a problem with my Dynadock (PA3541EY1PRP) in terms that it is not able to configure properly the monitor (LG Flatron E2250V-PN).
I would make clear that my PC is working under win 7 64bit.
Thanks oodles for your support.
Regards
MAxok,
when I connect VGA cable to the dynadock, external monitor apperas to be in low resolution.
Checking in the "screen resolution", windows shows "no monitor" (can I attach a file to show the screenshot?) and the maximum resolution is set at 1440X900. Therefore, I am forced to connect directly the external monitor to the pc. In this case the monitor is properly recognized as "VGA monitor" and the resolution appears to be rightly set at 1920X1080.
thanks

How do I get grid all the way to upper left?
I'm using a grid on a page. It won't go all the way to the upper left or top. This is what is causing white space to appear between my frames. It goes almost to the top, but not quite. I know there is a way to make the grid go all the way to the top.
