It seems like issue with the CUE. But lets work it out step by step:
1) If you haven't configured the Router\CUE interface, please enable it and try to access CUE or check the CUE status from the router CLI. Here is a quick reference guide:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_0/install/Install/nuinstall.html
Do not forget to configure static route pointing CUE ip address to the CUE interface.
Let me know whats the output.
2) If nothing helps in step 1, your only option would be to reseat the CUE module and try in a different slot. Make sure to reboot the router. (as I think its not hot swappable)
3) If nothing above helps, then most probably time for RMA.
Apart from above, was it a working setup or you bought it second hand?
Can you also post an output of sh inventory?

  • GPS Error on F3507g & Windows 7 "The GPS NMEA COM Port is not available" x200

    I have an X200 with a WWAN Card 43R153 (Ericsson F3507g) running Window 7.
The WWAN reliably connects to Vodafone but I can't get the GPS to work.
Device manager shows this port Enabled:-
Ericsson E3507G Mobile Broadband MiniCard GPS Port (Com8)
Driver Invogps.sys from Ericsson AB, Version 1.0.0.28  29/09/2008.
Thinkvantage GPS version 2.50 is also installed and Lenovo System Update says everything is up to date.
When I "Turn on GPS" or run 'Lenovs GPS"  I get this message:-
The GPS NMEA COM port is not available. You need to check the following things.
    - Another GPS application is using the COM port.
    - COM ports is disabled. You can enable the COM port in the Device Manager.
Location and Other Sensors shows nothing installed.
I've tried deleting all the drivers and reinstalling but not luck.
Has anyone else had the same problem and found a solution. I can't think of anything else to try.

If you are running a Windows 7 Weather Gadget on your desktop, try shutting it down entirely and see if that changes your GPS "in use" problem.

  • Cisco Unity Express (NME-CUE) Compatibility for CUCM 9.1.2

I unable to find latest Compatibility matrix for Cisco Unity Express (NME-CUE) module for integrating with CUCM 9.1.2
The URL:  http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/compatibility/cuecomp.html is updated with CUCM 9.0 only.
Request to share Compatibility matrix or suggest Hardware and software for my below requirement.
I am running NME-CUE 7.0.6 on 2951 ISR2 with IOS version 15.2(4)M5 and integrated with CUCM 7.1.5 using SCCP.
I am upgrading my CUCM to 9.1.2 and need suggestion on upgrading the CUE.
Also need details on Licensing for approx 100 Mailbox and  25 Voice Ports (No need of IVR Ports).
    Thanks,
    Chandan

    Hi Chandan,
    CUE 8.6.6 and later are compatible with CUCM 9.1.x;
Support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1
Cisco Unity Express 8.6.6 provides support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/rel_notes/rel_notes86.html#pgfId-411381
    Because you are moving from a pre-7.1 CUE version you will need to follow the CSL License migration process;
NoteWhen you upgrade to Cisco Unity Express Release 8.6.x from any release prior to Cisco Unity Express Release 7.1, you must replace your pre-CSL licenses with CSL licenses. You must migrate your licenses for the mailbox features and port features. If you have purchased the optional IVR features, you should also migrate your licenses for the IVR features.

  • Downloading CUE Port License

I    logged into Cisco.com/go/license and downloading the CUE Port license using    the series of attached serial numbers. The installation on the CUE failed,    with an error message "that the specified uid in the license file was not    found". I seems that it will only accept the UID serial number that is on the    actual NME-CUE module. Since I have used this serial    number to download 2 port licenses, the    migration license registration site will not allow me to use this number again    to get the remainder of the 8 base license we've purchased. How can this    problem be resolved?

  • Why my new Mac mini  DVI dual link mini display port adapter doesn't work  with my 30"display (LG W3000H)?

    Hello There
Can any of you advise on the below? Tried to connect Mac mini with a 30" display through a DVI dual link mini display port adapter. For the first try Mac mini go connected to the display, then i've chosen the highest resolution (2560x1600, native) and right at that moment they got disconected. Since then the display stays black. What can be the issue, is it possible DVI dual link mini display port adapter is not compatible with 30"display (LG W3000H)? It works with DVI male-male cable plus DVI HDMI adapter as long as the resolution stays under 1280x800. Any idea is much appreciated.
    Thank you, Vera

    Hi,
I can report that my Mac Mini Intel Duo connected instantly and without even having to set it up (on the first try) with my 1366x768 native resolution DELL 50" Plasma Display. It's so beautiful that I just want to stand there and fondle my HDTV as I drool haplessly like Homer Simpson with a doughnut in his mouth. Seriously, no problems.... guess I bought the right cable (ebay).
Before you buy a Duo, make sure you're aware of the airport and bluetooth issues that so many (maybe everyone who tries to use them together) are having. It seems that bluetooth interferes with airport, or maybe the other way around. Anyway, it's messed up. Also, Airport reception is generally VERY poor with the new Intel Mac Mini.
Despite these things, I still love mine (I now have 2 base stations and an airport express for my powerhouse wireless needs, and an external DLink bluetooth-2-USB dongle solved the bluetooth/airport issues... in my case).

  • HT4241 How do I get an Epson EX5210 to display using the HDMI mini display port adapter so I can see 1080p downloaded movie from iTunes? It won't recognize the display via hdmi cable and adapter!

Please help! I've tried everything to get this dang thing to display a downloaded movie from itunes on my epson EX5210 lcd projector via a HDMI cable plugged into a minidisplay port adapter. I am no expert and have no idea what to do!

It's all in the manual... starting on page 26...
USB seems to work as well. Tried that?
By the way, this dang thing has "only" 768 physical pixels vertically, so "1080p" won't be visible anyway, and scaling will take place. Hope you won't be diappointed. All specs including resolutions here.

  • TS2002 using a multi-port adapter to increase the number of USB ports - affects system functioning?  Port priority?  In advance, I send my thanks!

Hello.  I've never "started a discussion" before.  Ah well I've always had good luck with the communities so here goes.  Today I plugged a Belkin multi-port adapter into my MacBook Pro running OS X Version 10.6.8  This enabled me to plug in my keyboard; mouse and printer.   Yes after two years I wanted to be back to an independent full keyboard and mouse.  BUT ALAS!  Now the little spinning wheel keeps appeariing while I'm on the Internet and I learned through my "Help" app that I have "slow start-up, pausing at Initializing network or "Configuring network time"  (sounds like some of the men I've dated).
Could it be the multi-port adapter?  Should I use a different model?  The abiltiy to have the printer; keyboard and mouse all connected at the same time is important to my work.
In advance, I send my thanks!
    Jeannie-Marie

I think it is the server socket which controls the number of client sockets to be opened. The number of connections that are accepted by the server socket is called the backlog of server socket. By default its value is 50. (See java.net.ServerSocket class in java docs)...
we can specify the backlog in the constructor of server socket...

  • External hard drive not working in USB multi-port adapter

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion...I got a new My Passport Essential portable external hard-drive. I have a Belkin multi (4) USB adapter and when I plug the hard-drive in, it won't recognize it. It only works if I directly plug it into one of the two USB ports on my computer. Does anyone know of a USB multi-port adapter that would have sufficient power for me to plug my hard-drive into it? The cord is too big and bulky to plug it into my other USB port on my laptop with the adapter in place, so I either have to get another adapter or try another external hard-drive.
    thank you! Robin DySard

    Hi UKPOL,
Please refer to this How to Geek article.
Win 8.1 no longer supports a graphical interface for backing up files or creating system images. You must use powershell or Win 8.1's reset/refresh options.
You can also create custom refresh images. Please see this article. The instructions also work with Win 8.1.
You would have to use third party backup software for backing up files and folders.

  • What IOS command similar to catos command 'set port vtp X disable'

    Hi,
Does anyone know if a similar command of catos command 'set port vtp X disable' exists in native IOS (12.1E or 12.2SX) on cat6500?
We still can play in native IOS with VTP pruning, transparent mode but it seems that we can no more disable VTP on a particular port/interface.
    Many thanks.
    Regards/Ludovic.

While one may not be able to disable VTP directly, I would think you could use a MAC ACL against the VTP MAC address of 01-00-0C-CC-CC-CC. (See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk389/tk689/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094c52.shtml for details on how that addressing works.)
See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00801679f8.html#wp1359352 for details on the command syntax.

  • Campus Manager report - Ports in error Disabled state

    Hi,
I have LMS 3.2 and I wonder how Campus Manager collects information from the switch to generate a report of discrepancies, namely a report of "Ports in Error Disabled state"??
I find that I have ports in errDisabled state but Campus Manger doesn´t show this information in "Ports in Error Dissabled state" report. What could be the problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Campus Manager do snmpwalk on the ciscoErrDisableMIB to get the status of the error disabled ports.

  • Female Mini Display Port Adapter - Connect Monitor to Non Mini Display Port

Anyone know of a Female Mini Display Port Adapter, so I can connect the 24 LED Cinema Display to a computer that has DVI connector? Or hook the monitor up to a KVM, so I can use the monitor with multiple computers?
I know Apple doesn't make these, but does a third party?
Monoline appears to be coming out with adapters to hook a mini display port computer to DVI and HDMI, but not a mini display port monitor to DVI or HDMI.

'Mini Display port' is just a smaller version of display port, which is a slightly different version of HMDI.
No. You may be thinking of Mini DVI. Mini DisplayPort is a smaller verion of DisplayPort, which is different from DVI and HDMI.
    <http://www.displayport.org/white-papers/whitepapers/DPTech_OverviewEnglish.pdf>
HDMI, display port, mini display port AND DVI are all capable of being 'converted' from one to another.
It is easy to make a Mini DisplayPort (card) to DVI (display) adapter because a DisplayPort card can be set to generate DVI signals. (Dual-link DVI is a bit more complicated since the adapter must sepatate the clock and data.). A DVI card cannot generate DisplayPort signals, so an adapter for a DisplayPort display with a DVI card would be a lot more complicated.
The ONLY thing that you would LOSE in a DVI to display port conversion is an audio signal.
HDMI is DVI video plus digital audio. DisplayPort does not use DVI video.
The point is they are all interchangeable, signal wise.
No. A DisplayPort card can generate DVI signals when a DuisplayPort to DVI adapter is detected, but a DVI cards cannot generate DiusolayPort signals.
But why should Apple make a cheap DVI to female display port when they can make more money on overpriced graphics card upgrades?
They can't make a cheap adapter, but they could have added a DVI port to the display.

  • Best display port adapter?

Just got a nice new matte T410s, and I need to get appropriate hooksups for my HD Computer Monitor (w/hdmi) and TV.
I see that a lot of the adaptors don't transmit sound.   I have the discrete nvidia card, which I have read can in fact transmit sound.
What is the best value display port adapter to HDMI and/or DVI?

there are a lot of displayport to hdmi adapters on the market, the difference between them in actual functionality perspective is not that much.
My recommendation is to get a cheap one from ebay or amazon, etc.

  • Should an ISDN Primary Rate port adapter be recognised when installed in a 7206VXR

The 7206VXR does not recognise the Primary Rate port adapter and the controller E1 command cannot be issued. The router has an NPE400 installed and is running 12.1(6)E. Is this an invalid hardware/software combination, if so what level of IOS should be used?
