No activation allowed

I had to reload photoshop after my computer was repaired. No activation is allowed because Ihave done it on more than two computers but it is actually on the original computer

You can usually start a chat session from that window and get it taken care of right then. Regular support can't help with activation.

Checking the number Activations allowed and remaining on registered Adobe products

Where in Adobe do I go to verify remaining product activations. I have installed 2 registered Adobe programs but have download the final install for these versions. I have the links for download and I have valid keys. I have deactivated one product but before uninstalling and installing the correct updated version I wanted to check that the activation approval was returned to my program. I went to my adobe account and found the keys for each product, however the number of approved installs was not listed. Is there somewhere else on the site I can check for remaining approved installs or do I have to call Adobe by phone. I do not want to uninstall and reinstal them unless I am certain I have been credited when I deactivated the program

FYI:
Both products had to be deactivated then uninstalled before they could be reinstalled.
Photoshop CS3 went fine however I had to download the 10.0.1 upgrade zip file as the download version was the same as my disk.
Acrobat 9 Pro is another story. The product would not completely uninstall using windows 7 control panel, as such, the install process would not work. After many attempts I finally had to download the removal tool version 2 which is also good for Acrobat 9. This tool cleaned all of 9. The install exe worked fine until I got to entering the serial number (copied and pasted from my account) the message back " this is an invalid serial number". I had 2 activations and have only activated on this machine and I deactivated before uninstall. I guess I'll have to call Adobe to get my activations back.
The who;le process has been very frustrating indeed. I hope this info helps you should you receive other questions regarding this issue with Adobe 9 Pro Extended and Photoshop CS3.

My Adobe ID is activated was activated on a previous built of my computer, which I had to rebuilt, now I am unable to redownload ebooks, as they are associated with the previous PC built, nor will the Adobe Activation allow me to reactivate with my adobe

Just an update - I'm now attempting to do a full system restore from the time machine back to before I ununstalled PSE9.

(meanwhile, downloading Gimp 2.8 on my PC to see if I can do what I need with that in the meantime!!)

Preview's "Import from Scanner" documents -Text Tool cannot be activated.

Any documents created within 10.6 and printed/saved as a pdf file can be opened in Preview and the Text Tool activated allowing selection of text and copy/paste or text highlight actions made.
Using OSX 10.6.7 Preview application using the File > Import from Scanner (Epson V500 scanner), the scanned document cannot activate the Text Tool. Only the Move and Select tools cans be selected, activated and used. It's as if Preview's document scanned image using Format-PDF, the scans appear to be an image scan of the text/document into a PDF file and not using OCR to allow a Text Edit.
I can scan a printed document using Acrobat and my Epson scanner and the text tool within Acrobat or Adobe Reader works fine.
Is this a shortcoming within Preview using Format-PDF that the Text tool cannot be activated or used on Preview scanned documents containing text? If so why is Preview's text tool even offered?

After further research I have been able to answer my own question regarding-
"Preview's "Import from Scanner" documents -Text Tool cannot be activated."
In Apples Mac 101 Support article entitled: "Using a scanner (Mac 10.6) last modified on March 15, 2011, states: "Item 6. Click Scan to scan. Note: The scanned items will become JPEG images with 300 dpi"
So there it is…Any item (or printed document) scanned under Preview using the selected Format-PDF will be scanned as a JPEG image.
That' s why the Text Tool cannot be activated, it's not being scanned as text but as an image.
If a document is created within the computer via Pages, Text Edit, Word etc. and saved using the "Print-PDF-Save asPDF" file option, the already digitized text is saved within the PDF file and can then the PDF file can be opened in Preview and the Text Tool will be available for use to copy/paste or highlight.

There is a specific program for that: RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE. It will also re-activate the related DTPs.
Please check the following SAP Notes:
#1408161 - Program for transformation activation.
#1471117 - SP25:RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE skips if M version has OBJSTAT 'INA'.

How to deactivate a Photoshop 10.0/CS3 (Mac) serial key when the workstation with the activated installation has been entirely wiped?

We have a license for Photoshop 10.0/CS3 (Mac version) but it appears that the users previous workstation was wiped without deactivating the installation of Photoshop. Now when he tries to activate the product, it says that the maximum number of activations allowed has been reached. Does this mean that we need to deactivate the serial key somehow? If so, how are we supposed to do it without the activated installation?

CS3 Deactivation and Activation on new computer

I just got a new computer and want to add my Photoshop CS3 to the computer. When I try to activate, it tells me I have too many activations. I had it installed on two computers (as there are two activations allowed) so I tried the following
I tried to deactivate CS3 on my old computer but the option to "deactivate" is not under the help menu.
I tried uninstalling CS3 on the other computer that Photoshop was installed on
I tried the chat feature through Customer care and they told me my serial number was invalidMy computer was replaced under warranty last November (2013) and I re-installed CS3 with the same serial number I provided to the chat support and had no problems so I know it's a valid serial number
The individual on chat told me: "you need to have the invoice receipt of the software so that we can check and provide you a new CS3 serial number for the software."
The software was purchased on ebay in 2009 so I do not have an "invoice receipt"
I had no reason to request an invoice receipt in 2009 as I have had no problems with the program or installing/re-installing the program on new computers... until now...
Can anyone help me get CS3 working on my new computer?

This is a forum where users like yourself help troubleshoot problems and give advice on how to do something in the program. We have no authority on activation nor can we hand out serial numbers. In short, we are not Adobe employees.
Buying Photoshop off Ebay is one big red flag. Chances are you purchased one where the same serial number was passed around until Adobe cancelled it. You did not register it with Adobe when you first bought it, so they don't know who you are. No receipt, no proof that you owned it. You can look into your Ebay account and see if there is a record of the sale in your history. Then you can email the seller for a receipt.

I have a very basic question. How often a external activity is uniquely used that cannot be covered by an service activity. My point is that is there a business case that cannot be taken care of by service activity. External processing activity is actually a service received from a vendor, extra thing is some goods movement perhaps? Can anybody give an clear explanation of how these two are different and what difference does that make to a project.

Whereas external activity allows you to procure only one specified service, a service activity enables you to plan and procure several services and to enter data for services that has not yet been specified in detail. For this purpose you must create service specifications when creating a service activity (do search on service specification further).
This is the major difference, the rest remaining the same.

ADE number of activation using single Adobe id

we are getting questions from clients regarding the number of activations for a single Adobe id. User manual says, 6 PCs and 6 devices are allowed with a single Adobe Id, and an addtional permission every year. but it also says if the limit exceeds then a user can contact adobe support to get more permissions. My question is " what would be a reason for the customer service of Adobe to grant a consumer more devices, when they contact them?". can anyone answer this question please?

Since removal of activation information on a device, and then reauthorization, uses up 2 activation counts, the most common cause for running out of activation is mistaken deactivations - tech support notes this and increases the activation allowance to account for this.

How many machines can be activated?

I'm signed up for the Photoshop/Lightroom program.
I'm wondering how many computers in my home can the programs be installed on? I originally had them installed on my wife's computer while I was building mine. My computer is finished and I want to install the programs on my computer. Do I need to uninstall them from my wife's computer or are we allowed 2 computers in the home. Thanks.

You will be fine - 2 activations allowed. There has been some debate about if you can have them both running at the same time, but you can certainly install on 2 machines.
Actually you can install an any number of machines and turn on and off the different activations (by signing in and out of your CC account in the help menu) - as long as you don't exceed 2 activations at any one time. That is specifically for Photoshop.

Z87-GD65 - how to make E2200 network port active in S5 system power state?

My question is how do I make the E2200 network port active in the S5 system power state on the MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard?
I require Wake on LAN (magic packet) for my computer but after shutdown the network port is inactive hence the WOL packet can not wake the computer. I have checked and activated the following items:
On the motherboard
- EuP 2013 = disabled
- Resume by PCI-E device = enabled
In Windows 8.1 E2200 network port settings
- Wake on Magic Packet = enabled
- Energy efficient network = disabled
After I shutdown (power state S5) the network port activity lights go dark so I assume the port has shutdown as well. On my previous Gigabyte motherboard the network port stayed active allowing WOL packets to be transmitted to turn on the pc. Have I missed a setting on this new motherboard? My workmate also bought the same motherboard and has the same issue.

MSI support responded and listed the correct settings and it is working!
So the correct settings are:
In the motherboard BIOS:
- LAN Option ROM = Enabled
- EuP 2013 = Disabled
- Resume by PCI-E device = Enabled
In Windows 8.1 E2200 network port settings:
Under Power Management:
- Allow this device to wake the computer = ON
- Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer = ON
Under Advanced:
- Energy Efficient Ethernet = Disabled
- Shutdown Wake Up = Enabled
- Wake on Magic Packet = Enabled
All working fine now. All I was missing was the "Shutdown Wake Up" setting. I hope this helps anyone else who has this excellent motherboard.

I have to changed wrong maintain IT0000 & IT0001 far away from earliest retro active allowed in SAP.
For Exampe :
Earliest Retro is on January 2005
Data in IT0001 as below:
01/01/1980 - 12/31/1990 as Position A.
Data should be changed as below:
01/01/1980 - 12/31/1985 as Position A
01/01/1986 - 12/31/1990 as Position B.
I have tried using PA30 but error due to changes far away from Retro Active Date.
Is there any posiblity to change incorrect maintained data above?
