No address data found in contact person

Hi all
I am getting an error while creating a transaction No address data  in the contact person.
I am able to see the bp id of the contact person.
I have maintained the first name and last name  and other details including the standard address in that bp.
Kindly let me know from where the system picks the address and where do i maintain that.
Thanks in advance
Kumar Hari

Hello,
This is a common mistake when processing Contact Persons. In fact, the address data you see in the WebUI for your contact person is the address of the Company - Contact Person relationship and not the contact data of the contact person itself. The error message is probably referring to the address data of the person itself.
Eg I work for my company, my address data as a contact person for my company will the the company's address, fax, e-mail, ... Beside that I also have my personal address, where I actually live with a private e-mail and so on.
My company -_-_-_ has the contact person  -
> Me
Address data         (=address data eq to comp)       My personal address
Hope this helps,
Joost

  • Ability to add multiple email addresses to the same contact person

    Hello SRM Experts,
    I have a question in SRM 5.0
In "Personal Data" tab of "Employee Data" in Manage Business Partner, we have the ability to add multiple email address. But only one email can be selected as standard.
We have a new requiremnt that more than one email address has to be selected. Which means, when a bid invitation is published, the email notification has to go to all the email addresses from that list.
    How can this be achieved?
    Any information would be appreciated.
    Thank you

By default the system send intimation to only one email id to the contact person.
If you want to be send to the multiple email id for a contact person. you need to implement the same in the BADI..
Try to find the BADI which is called on save of Bid invitation. You can check of the 'Published' status in the BADI method and fire the emails as required.

The customer is running SAP B1 2005A PL39

    Hi Susana,
The current system maximum properties are 64. You cannot define more.
However, as an alternate you can check the "Group" in the Business Partner Master Data and then can define different Properties for different Group of Business Partners.
Check this if any help in your case.

I have read at HELP file, then i found to add new contact person in contact management, go to SRM menu -> Customizing(UCUS0) ->in the left panel -> clik contact - > double clik contact person.I can direcly add new contact person.
but after i added new contact person.i still can't select new contact person in "General tab(Contact management)".
can u tell me how to solve this problem?
    Thanks,
    Siandari Lim

    Dear William,
There are some notes for enabling the b2b flag. E.g. 1263919 and 1263915 and likely some more. So, that might help you figure out if perhaps you have missing settings for this feature.
But based on the limited information you provided it seems that "Segmentation based on relationships" would be suitable. You can check [SAP help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm700_ehp01/helpdata/en/37/fc60e3bebf4a9ba7121c00e295b3fd/frameset.htm ] for this topic. I was not sure what you meant by "but how to replace the contact person function?"
    Quick excerpt:
Segmentation based on relationships offers you maximum flexibility when modeling target groups, especially in business-to-business scenarios. You can select business partners using filters for both personal data as well as data relating to the business partner's organization. The system saves all required information on the business partner, such as contact person, organization, and relationship type, with the target group. In the campaign, the contact person is contacted using the address data of the contact person's organization.
    Hope this helps!

  • Segmentation of Contact Persons from specific BP Organizations

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following requirement.
I want to select all the Contact Persons of all the Business Partner Organizations in a Country, say US in Segment Builder.
Is there any Standard Info set which will help me achieve this.
    Regards,
    Arun

    Hi,
For segmenting organizations, say based on marketing attributes as data source, CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP function module assignment in datasource would do the work.
I have copied following from SAP help -
    Segmentation Based on Relationships
Segmentation based on relationships offers you maximum flexibility when modeling target groups, especially in business-to-business scenarios. You can now select business partners using filters for both personal data as well as data relating to the business partner's organization. All required information on the business partner, such as contact person, organization, and relationship type is saved with the target group. In the campaign, the contact person is contacted using the address data of the contact person's organization.
You can also use segmentation based on relationships in the business-to-consumer environment. For example, you could segment according to the relationship between father and son to find all fathers with sons in a particular age group.
    Prerequisites
You have defined data sources that are capable of providing the business partner relationship information. In the case of InfoSets, this means that the InfoSet itself contains all the fields required to provide the partner function information.
A conversion function is needed for the data sources Business Intelligence Cube and Attribute Set. This function uses a function module to deliver the required information (for example, contact person for an organization). Each relationship type requires its own function module. The following function modules are delivered as examples:
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP_BW
    CRM_MKTTG_PF_FIND_CPS
    Features
You can use segmentation bases when performing segmentation with relationships. When creating the profile set, you must decide whether the segmentation basis should be used to select business partners or their relationship partners.
During segmentation, you can display the distribution for both target group members as well as for the business partners linked by the respective relationship (for example, Is Contact Person For).
The relationship information from the target group can be exported and used in the follow-up processing.
It is also possible to perform deduplication for target groups with relationships. For more information, see Deduplication of Marketing Segments.
    Example
As part of your campaign, you want to contact all business partners who are younger than 30 years old, have the hobby "Golf", and work in a company with more than 1000 employees. The corresponding marketing mail should be sent to the business partner's company address rather than the private address.
Another example would be a campaign where you want to contact all male business partners from the region "South" and who have more than one child, one of whom is under one year old. During the campaign execution, the campaign letter should be sent to the business partner's private address and should contain the name of the child who is younger than one year old.

  • How can I delete the home address of the contact person

    Hi Experts,
I want delete the home address of the contact persons in the ERP.
Which data and where can you found it:
In Tx xd02 in the general data of customer - register "contact person" and then button "home address".
There I want delete all fields. When I looked in F1 - technical information I don't get the information in which table the data are included. I know only the structure.
I think the general data of the contact person I have to look in the table knvk.
The private and the business email address I can find in the table ADR6.
In the table knvk there is a field "address number". I  know when there is a number then the contact person has a home address and when this field is empty then for this contact person isn't maintain a home address.
Could I delete this field "address number" in the table knvk? Is then the home address automatically deleted?
I don't know how can I delete this field. Can anybody tell me how can I do this? I looked in the Tx xd99 this field isn't available there.
Or does anybody know how can I delete the home address of the contact persons on another way?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards, Jasmin

    Hi,
I am sorry, I forgot to say I don't want delete only one home address. Yes, you are right, then I could delete it manually.
But I want to delete all private addresses, so I should have a tool for mass deletion.
Does anybody know how can I do this?
    Best regards, Jasmin

  • Vendor master - General data - Contact persons - Usage to send PO output

    Hello all,
Can you please guide me in using the Vendor master -General data - Contact persons for sending Purchase order output.
Using partner role 'CP' - is it possible to determine the PO message output automatically.
Thanks in advance for your support.
    Thanks
    Sasi

    Hi Raja
    Thanks for your immediate response.
Can we use the Contact persons as partners instead of vendors and trigger the PO output through email?
What should we do for that please?
I have tested that, but the partner number(contact person number) is not getting copied to the message in PO.
it is looking for a address number instead of contact person number.
    Any suggestions please
Thanks in advance for your support.
    Thanks

  • Contact Person and Business Address and Home address

Could anyone explain me how Business and Home address are determined for Contact Person. Are this data stored with different person number for specific contact person? Is there any maintenance which tels which data should be copied to Business and Home address from Contact Person address data?

    Hi Tomasz
Contact Person Info is maintained in the table KNVK.
It is maintained through VAP2 transaction.
When you assign a contact person to a Customer in XD02/01 the home and business addresses get copied from VAP1 (KNVK table).

  • Contact Person Full Data.

    Hello,
When I want to see contact person data in the Interaction Center I go to Accounts data > click on Contact Person name > a new screen shows me the Contact person data but I can't add any assigment block to this page.
I need to show the complete information and assigment blocks like in Web UI.
For example: I can't add marketing attributes.
Any idea of how to solve this?
    Best Regards

    Andrey Vishnevskiy solved my Problem.
This was his solution, which worked for me:
if you need the same views/screens for contact person details as it is for SALESPRO follow these steps:
    1. Identify Navigation Bar profiles which are used in IC agent business role and sales professional role. Standard profiles are IC_AGENT and SLS-PRO accordingly. (SPRO -> CRM -> UI Framework -> Business Roles -> Define Business Role -> double click business role -> here is a field Nav Bar Profile)
    2. Identify Target IDs which are used for the desired navigation in sales professional's navigation bar profile. For instance:
    BP_CONTACT B Display MD-BPCP-OV
(go to SPRO -> CRM -> UI Framework -> Technical Role Definition -> Define Navigation Bar Profile -> select profile for sales professional (SLS-PRO) -> choose Define Generic OP Mappings -> go to desired object type and actions (e.g. BP_CONTACT))
    3. Check Target IDs which are used for the desired navigation in IC agent's navigation bar profile. For instance:
    BP_CONTACT B Display BPMORE
(path is the same as in step 2)
    4. Put Target ID's from sales professional's profile to IC agent's profile according to your needs. For instnace, generic OP mapping in IC Agent navigation bar profile should look like below:
    BP_CONTACT B Display MD-BPCP-OV

  • Email Campaign Execution: Contact person Relationship

    Hi All,
I created a target group which contains a list of Contact Persons. I am testing executing an email campaign against this target group.
This contact person also exists as a relationship to a prospect.
The email address maintained on the contact person master data may be different from the email address maintained on the relationship. Our end goal here is to execute the email campaing against the addresses maintained on the relationsip and not on the master data. When I execute the campaing, it sends the email out to the address maintained on the contact person master data. Do you know what I can do for it to pick up the email address maintained on the relationship? Is it standard CRM functionality for it to pick up the email address from the master data rather than the relationship?
Any comments/help on this would be greatly appreaciated.
    Thanks!
    Kiran.

    Hi!
I know that has been a while since you two resolved these question, but can someone give me a hint with this?
I'm facing a similiar question... I need to send campaign mails to contact persons (to the relationships contact mails). But i can not see any B2B flag... Can someone please tell me where can i check this field? (I'm working with CRM 7.0 (and Webclient UI))
    Thanks in advance

  • DEBMAS with only part of contact persons?

    Hi there,
if we send in a DEBMAS IDoc that contains only a subset of contact persons of a customer, the inbound process will remove all other contact records from KNVK. We tried different MSGFN values, without success.
Is there any way we could send via DEBMAS only updated contact persons without loosing existing contact records not beeing sent with current IDoc?
    Best regards,

    Hi Gordon,
    this is incorrect.
ADR3MAS is part of address management.
It contains the address part of a contact persons.
This is not directly related to customer contact person.
Distributing ADR3MAs will never create a customer contact person on its own.
If send alone, it will only creates an orphaned contact person address.
What is correct in your reply is the fact DEBMAS do not distribute 100% accurate address data.
So to succeed to have a completely correct and accurate customer master distribution you MUST setup a distribution where the Address idocs ADR1MAS, ADR2MAS, ADR3MAS are sent as well as DEBMAS idocs.

  • Contact Person - Department

    Hi ,
I have a unique problem in front of me.
I am displaying the department of the contact person on the invoice.
I am retriving this from table ADCP or maximum KNVK if it is not found in ADCP.
The problem is , functional consultant has entered the value in VAP3 ( Contact person ) for department as "BAse Business and managing ".
Now in KNVK it is just "Base Busi" and in ADCP it is blank .So i dont know how to retrieve this value.
I have the partner No & Customer no. with me.
Is there any Function Module which will help me retrieve.
    Kindly guide,
    Dukhai Atma

    Dear Atma,
This may be due to field length and No. of Characters  so plaese take help of abaper to fix the issue.
Other wise you can define the deportment code in the IMG path is SPRO>IMG>Sales and Distribution>Master data>Business partners->Contact person-->Define standard deportments here you can give some code for your depeortment then you maintain name as discription same you can enter in the customer master general data -->contact person tab that discription you can capture in to your report.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.
