No administrator rights and Error code 21:

Hi,
I am using a WIndows XP, Labview 8.2.1, and NiDAQ drivers (8.5) along with a PCI-6024E board that is hooked to some commercial equipment. The supplier of the equipment has a user created .exe file. The loadup disk from the equipment manufacturer includes the installation of the Labview 6.0 Run-time Engine installation wizard as well as older NiDAQ drivers (8.0.1). We DID NOT use the older NiDAQ drivers, but rather the newer iones that came with the current version of Labview we just purchased.
All of these programs need to be loaded as an administrator, so we have a helpdesk person log onto the machine and give temporary admin rights to us. When we try the program (the .exe file) all works as it is supposed to. We then logged out and logged back in without our Admin rights. After rebooting, we wind up getting Error code 21 issues and the program does not ever load correctly.
What could be the difference between running the programs in an adminstrator mode as opposed to a non-administrator mode? In the non administrator mode all of our user created VI's always work fine.....

Hi Andy,
Were the programs and the exe allowed to install in their default locations? This error could be because executables sometimes write and/or create certain files such as the ini file when they are opened, and if the installer put these files into an "administrator-only" location it won't let you into it when not logged in as administrator.

Can you clarify what you mean by "We DID NOT use"? Did you not let the exe install the older RTE and DAQmx versions? When did you get the error message - when you tried to run the exe without LV open?

I subscribed to Creative Cloud in December 2012 and have been trying to install the applications, but the "Installation Failed" through the Adobe Application Manager. (see screenshot)
Here is a line from my log file:

I tried searching for the same error code in the "knowledge base" but couldn't locate any.

   I tried the above steps, with no luck. I have admin rights on both laptop and desktop I'm trying to install to. I have updated my AAM on both machines with no issue (when using the direct link above). But when I click the 'Try' link to download an application, it shows the scrolling status bar for a few seconds, then "Installation Failed" 'Download error. Press Retry to try again or contact customer support. (-7)'   Retry only produces same results.
Both machines are running Win 7 Pro - SP1 64bit
     (laptop - 16 GB RAM & Core i7-2760QM 2.40 GHz processor)
     (desktop - 8 GB RAM & Xeon W3520 2.67GHz processor)
I am running in a corporate setting with I'm sure all sorts of Firewall protection etc...
I'm planning on asking for a CC membership, but wanted to check out the new features first....

        While testing the Webservice...
               I passed User Id as Parameter and it successfully return the values (user id, user name and description) from fnd_user table
2. I created another application to consume the web service i created.
               1. I added the webservice SOAP and added the method.
               2. Created a jsf page and drag and drop the parameter and return values to the jsf page.
3. While executing the created jsf page I received the error message as below

Don't know if this will be of use or not but having had a problem with using the system recovery failed at 85 persent with unable to restore factory image i used the back up disks that to failed infact it wiped the restore partiion i then i ordered a recovery kit from HP thinking my recovery disk three was corrupt,
It tells you in the HP book to only leave your mouse key board and screen connected as i don't give in THIS TIME I LEFT MY ROUTER CONNECTED AND HEY I RECOVERED MY SYSTEM so in my case i should not of removed the router.

I'm trying to start Oracle 8.1.6 i on Solaris 8. But there are lot of error:
1. During initialising the database with dbassist, the error Code Error Codes: ORA 01034-"ORACLE not available" and ORA-01012-"not logged on" were shown.
2. I'm trying to start Oracle 8i on Sun Solaris 8 by typing svrmgrl-connect interal-startup. But the following was shown on by screen:

Windows 2008 R2 Sp1 backup failing with Event Id 517 and Error Code: 2147942487

We have a windows share that we dump multiple windows backup images from our servers. We have 1 server consistently failing when performing a manual "Backup Once...." operation.
The error message in the Windows Backup gui is: "Failed The parameter is incorrect"
The event log shows an error of 517 with the message: "
The backup operation that started at '‎2015‎-‎01‎-‎12T14:25:20.681861800Z' has failed with following error code '2147942487' (One or more arguments are invalid). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the
issue is resolved.
The strange part is when we choose a different location to accept the backup we have success. The backup starts, but fails between 1-6 GB transferred.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you mean that if you change the backup location, the backup could be started - but still fail after backing up 1 - 6 GB data?
One of the possible cause is an incorrect partition table entry and NTFS total sectors.
Please test to shrink the volume you are going to backup for several MB.
Right click volume >>Select shrink, shrink several MB (such as 3MB).
Then extend the volume back to original size. You can right click on volume and select Extend volume.
When it finished, see if issue still exists.
