there is no such app or option as blackberry gives us https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/26901/
we should have this as a facility in iphone or even an app would do

https://itunes.apple.com/eg/app/call-vibration-free/id565089253?mt=8
it's a trial version i beleive it will expire within 2 weeks & you have to call via the application it self however you can pay 0.99 U$D then you will be able to use it for life & even through the phone icon/app on your iPhone and No need for Jailbreak

  • Is there any apps for vibrate on call connect?

Before this I'm using android phone, change to Iphone 5, and get use without seeing the phone when make a call, and when call connect the phone is vibrate. I found this useful when driving. Is there any apps for this? instead of downloading it from cydia (phone buzzer), it's meant we need to jailbreak our Iphone, and i don't want to do this.

  • I can't sync like in past with my iPhone 5 to MacBook... color ball spins and it want's to go to App Store? Never connects

I can't sync like in past with my iPhone 5 to MacBook... color ball spins and it want's to go to App Store? Never connects
In past, when I connected USB cable it tarted syncing... now it shows grey IPhone so it knows it's connected, but doesn't let me select it. I keeps going to the store and never "responds" so I have to Force Quit each time.
I tried using Bluetooth and it almost worked but then said the iPhone didn't support my MacBook. ?!?
I figure everything is so automated (old term from an old guy) that I've missed something. I miss the Apple 2e's and c's sometimes. I've almost wanted to ask verbally my phone to do it but am holding that adventure until I hear from someone. [ I asked my iPad one time for help and it told me it was busy and ask later.  "Seri-ously:-)  ]
    Help!

    Hello lenmin,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To help resolve this issue where you're repeatedly prompted to authorize with your Apple ID in iTunes when syncing, please follow the directions in the article below.

    HI ..
The only way to reinstall OS X on a Mac already running v10.9 is to use OS X Recovery.
Starrtup your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys.
From there you should be able to access the built in utilities to repair the startup disk and reinstall OS X.
Please read >  OS X Recovery

In a game i'd like to make an in-app purchase but everytime i select the purchase i'd like it says "Purchase fail cannot connect to Itunes store". I am logged into my itunes store what do i do?

Just make sure if it wifi is connected. if this doesn't work reboot your iPhone. If it's still doesn't work contact the game service center or something. lastly, make sure u have your credit card sign in. hope this help.

  • My wife received a Acer tablet for Xmas,to connect it to my MacBook Pro I need to download a free app called Android File Transfer. Problem is i can't find it in the app store, can anybody help please?

Any help to the above question would be much appreciated.

Mac app store isn't the exclusive way to download apps in a mac, like it is the case in iPhone or iPod Touch. So if you can't find something in the app store, just google it and download from any trusted source you find.

    Hi k,
I don't know if it's the same in your OS, but in 10.6.8:
Go to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access > Keychain Access menu > Keychain First Aid > enter your password > click on Verify > click on Start. If you get a message saying something needs to be repaired, click on Repair > Start and wait for it to finish.

  • How do I find an App called connections to put on my i phone?

Someone has that App on their i phone and they are able to catagorize different groups with this program.  Can anyone tell me where I can download this?  Thanks Eleanor

in the iTunes App Store. Go into iTunes, go to iTunes Store and click on the 'Apps' header or just type in the name of the app. Once it downloads, sync it to your iPhone.
Or, just go on your iPhone to the App Store and search and download it. Easy.

  • Installing Mavericks produced "a connection error occurred" in Mail and "connection failed" in App Store

    Dear Apple Support Community!
I installed Mavericks OS X on my iMac immediately after it was released. I was soon starting to experience trouble with logging in to Mail and App Store. After contacting Apple Support and trying various tips and tricks to no avail, like re-installing Mavericks for instance, I just decided to wait for an update of the OS X to see if that would solve my problems. Unfortunately, that didn't help either.
I therefore turn to the Apple Support Communities in hope of expert help that will solve my problems.
Here are the actions that result in error messages:
    Mail > Choose a mail account to add > Google > Continue > Name/Email Address/Password > Set Up > A connection error occurred.
App Store > Sign In > Apple ID/Password > Sign In > Connection failed.
I have three accounts on my computer:
System Administrator, Guest Account and Other.
I use the “Other” account as my regular account. When I log in to the System Administrator or Guest Account I don’t experience any problems; Mail and App Store work as they should.
Booting in safe mode does not solve the problem:
I disconnected all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and removed all aftermarket expansion cards. I booted in safe mode and logged in to the account with the problem.
I tested the said actions while in safe mode. The problems were the same.
After testing, I rebooted as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verified that I still had the problems.

I have had somewhat similar problems as Øystein Ange since upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mavericks in January. But fortunately, I have been able to solve many of them after a lot of trial & error, frustration and sweat! I now long for the more than 2 years of previous Snow Leopard usage when problems were small, few and far between, and quickly solvable. I feel as if Apple has cut me adrift and left me to struggle on my own with the seemingly numerous problems of getting the performance of Mavericks to finally stabilize on my iMac.
Øystein's Feb. 8th post asks some of the same Mavericks questions that I still have. It would be very helpful to me, and to others I'm sure, if someone/anyone has specific suggestions or solutions on what one could/should do to fix specific problems with newly installed Mavericks OSs, short of a clean, full re-install of the OS.
I have one admin account plus the guest account on my iMac Mavericks. Does this mean my admin account is a/the root account?! How can one tell whether or not they are logging in with a root account?! What's the distinction between the root account, a user's admin account, and other standard users' accounts?! Could someone please recommend a definitive Apple document describing all the various types of Mavericks accounts, in detail, and how/when/where/why each type should be used before or along with any of the others?
Why is it suddenly a no-no to log on to Mavericks via the root user account, when previous OS versions had no problem with this?! What's the purpose of the root user account if not to use it to log on to the computer?! If it's so dangerous, why isn't it internally safeguarded from inadvertent logins by casual users?! What damage or harm are we talking about, and why weren't personal-use customers given a big warning about this apparent "booby trap" in Mavericks?! Saying NEVER DO THAT is like closing the barn door after the horse has already bolted, and it explains nothing to the casual user.
We can't just do a clean re-install every time something in Mavericks hiccups?! Based on my recent experience, and on what I'm seeing in this thread, I would have had to re-installed it a half dozen times in the past 2 months alone!! That's nonsensical. There's got to be a better way of fixing a newly installed Mavericks OS than doing a re-install over and over again. Why don't the Mac diagnostic and troubleshooting tools work in Mavericks' case, as they have done for me on many occasions on earlier OS versions?! What is it about Mavericks that makes it different this time?! Could it possibly have something to do with integration of Mavericks and iCloud; and, if so, what specific cautions should the casual user observe to make sure they don't jeopardize the integrity of Mavericks by doing something similar to logging in from the root account?!
Many customers need to be brought in out of the dark! Is there an Apple Mavericks expert out there who can advise the customer community on specifically how to apply the existing repair tools to solve specific Mavericks teething problems, without having to revert to multiple OS re-installs?

I had the same experience with a new iPhone 5 that I bought  last week. Did not have a chance to measure battery life before the 6.0.2 upgrade installed but I set up my phone exactly like my 4S and immediately started running out of power after short periods. Went to Xmas get together with fully charged 5 and 4S. Heading home the iPhone 5 shut down for low battery and the 4S had 65% power. Both phones had two half phone calls on then and no data usage.
That night I fully charged the iPhone 5 and, without lighting it up, put it on my night table. Next morning I picked it up and looked at battery indicator and I had 42% charge with NO activity!
Tried it again next night and wound up with 37% charge. (Slept longer).
Today I called the carrier and reactivated the 4S.  Took the 5 to Apple Store and they kindly gave me choice of new replacement phone or refund. I took the refund. Uniquely, the Apple Store said it was Verizon CDMA phones that were coming back.
The are other strings on this with temporary solutions, but from my experience with 7 firmware changes on an HTC 4G phone the problem will continue because the solution will be hardware caused. We are in the days where RTM means Rush to Market - not Release To Manufacturing.
I fear the only solution is to either wait for the next model (I did not notice a really major change in performance over the 4S in LTE heavy Seattle area) - or switch to another manufacturer.
It might be useful for these forums to indicate if you have a GSM or CDMA phone to see which have more problems.
    Discouraged....

After doing a reinstall of Lion a few weeks ago, I found that my computer suddenly would reject every VeriSign certificate that it encountered. Using Chrome, that meant that I couldn’t even access Twitter.com, because it thought that the certificate was wrong. I couldn’t login to the Apple developer portal, I couldn’t authenticate a device with XCode, I couldn’t make a purchase at Apple.com, I couldn’t download updates from the Mac App Store, and I couldn’t login to Mint.com, among other sites. I essentially couldn’t do anything that used a VeriSign certificate for SSL.
What did I do? I called my trusty AppleCare advisor, hoping for an answer. I thought that maybe they could help me figure it out. After getting to senior support, I was told to reinstall Lion, which I did to no avail. My case was then forwarded to the Apple engineering team, with 3 to 5 days to wait until I had an answer. I looked around, through my console logs and through Keychain access, and finally came up with an answer, and a solution to my problems.
It turned out that my solution was pretty simple. I had to delete a few files and reset one to its default setting.
Delete the files /var/db/crls/crlcache.db and /var/db/crls/ocspcache.db. These can be found using Finder’s Go >; Go To Folder menu (Cmd + Shift + G). This resets the cache of accepted certificates in the system. It doesn’t remove them, it just forces the system to rebuild the caches upon restart.
Open Keychain Access (/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access). Select Certificates in the Category picker on the left side. In the search bar, type in the word Class. Look through that list, and find any certificates that have a blue + symbol over their icon. These are the ones you need to modify.
Select one that has a blue +, and hit Command + I. Click the disclosure triangle beside the “Trust” list to show the list of permissions. Now, what we need to do is to set this certificate to use the system defaults. However, for some reason, when you select it, it doesn’t save. So what you need to do is this. Under “Trust”, where it says “Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)”, change the dropdown menu to say “No Value Specified”. Then, close the window. It will ask for your administrator permissions. Then, open the info pane for that certificate again. Under “Trust” again, now set the dropdown that says “When using this certificate:” to say “Use System Defaults”. You can then close out of the info pane, and enter your password again. Do this for any of the certificates that have a blue + on their icon. There should only be one or two at most.
    Restart your system.
This solution seemed to work just fine for me. All of my certificate problems have been fixed. It must be something with the OSX installer that causes this certificate issue. I’ll file a bug report. Hopefully someone looks into it and fixes the flaw in the OS. And, I hope that this fixed the flaw for you.
Addendum – a note on security:
This procedure won’t affect the security of your Mac. I’ve had some questions come in about that, and if anything, it makes it more secure because then sites that require SSL certificates can actually use them, unlike before where they might default to non secure connections because the certificate was bad.
