No app showing in the copy

i just purchased a treo 755p verizon. i downloaded this app

everything download fine. i unzipped the file and transfered it to my 4 gig external drive then i inserted it into the palm 755p and went to copy the app on to the phone nothing is showing up.
i also copied some mp3 onto the 4 gig and when i went to pocket tunes they were there so i know it is working.
anyone experience this problem also, and if so what is the fix?

i think i got it. i was trying to install the apps from my 4 gig external. and i just relized i need to load them through the sync install on the desktop. i have not tried it yet, but is this correct?
can the 755p handle a larger external drive? the manual says up to 4 gig.

Double tap the home button, then swipe upwards on the App Preview (not the App Icon). Tap the Home button again to return to normal screen.

No photos in Photostream, but 3rd party apps show that the photos are there

I am having a problem, not sure where to post it. Here is what is happening:
1. Take a photo with iPhone 4
2. Syncs to great up until last night
3. Last night I brought a photo into Nik's Snapseed app on my iPad (import from Photostream)
4. Now, my synced Photostream shows up on my Iphone 4, iPhoto, but the Photostream album on my iPad shows no photos.
5. However, the photos are there on the iPad, because if I use a photo editor app and import (again, like Snapseed), the photos are there and I can import. But the Apple's Photo app the album shows no photos.
Very strange....I think this has to be a bug.
Apple really needs to think about real use of Photostream. The concept is great...but I have to admit it is buggy. Adobe Carousel app, when it is released, looks ideal.
Apple, why can we not delete 1 photo (rather than the whole Photostream)?

Apple, why do new photos from my Camera app go to my camera roll and Photostream...workflow of editing and sharing photos is very messy this way with duplicate photos.

Exactly the same problem here too. Its bug, because I see my photostream with a 3rd party app like PS Express.

Put it in the dock at the bottom. Apps put there stay there and show at the bottom of all home screens.

Why won't the copying action stop? How do i quit it so i can shut down? Items i tried to copy to either my hard drive or my USB memory are not copying - why? And now can't quit them either!

I have a Western Digital My Book hard drive which i use to store my media/data/back up. I tried to transfer some files on my desk top to it yestrday and it was taking forever so decided to stop it. Now it just shows under the Copying box, stopping but it isn't? I tried then to down load the same images t my USB memory stick and now that is doing the same. option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Thanks for the support.

I have an iPad 1 updated to 5.0.1 and recently downloaded the iTunes U app from the app store. I also have the latest version of iTunes installed on my computer.
Since the iTunes U app keeps on crashing whenever I try to download anything from it on my ioPad, I subscribed to 2 items from my windows computer and downloaded them.
The computer is Windosw XP. These files appear in iTunes on the Computer under iTunes U and have been saved as m4v files.
On my computer, in iTunes, I selected the iPad and selected the iTunes U tab. I ticked the box Sync iTunes U and ticked all the items I had downloaded.
The sync showed transferring these m4v files to the iPad but when I open iTunesU there is nothing there.
Instead I have to open my Video app and touch the iTunesU tab button and I see the courses there.
The Q is, of what use is the iTunes U app when it does not show the items I have downloaded and synced?
If it is supposed to show these items then how do I get it to show these items I have already doenloaded and are present on the iPad but show up in the Video app instead of iTunesU.

Why is the Mac App Store loading the wrong Apple ID when I try to redownload my copy of Lion?

I purchased my MacBook Pro 17" Back in March of 2011 from MicroCenter in Madison Heights, MI. Later I purchase OS X Lion 10.7 from the Mac App Store on July 23rd, 2011 under my Account along with a couple of other programs. I know it is under my account because, I have redownloaded the OS X Lion Installer twice before (10.7.1 and 10.7.2), making my own bootable copies on USB drives as emergency copies.
Now my Apple ID has never changed, the password is still the same as when I set it up back when I signed up for my iTunes Music Store account, the only thing changed is my payment options (reissued debit cards, and a bank switch). The account has always been mine alone, never part of any family account or anything of the sort. Outside of that, nothing has ever been editted on my accounts.
Last month my father decides to finally update from his 2002 Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver) to a new MacBook Pro a month ago. I show him how to make a bootable USB stick so he can always have an immediate backup installer. Both him and I are on AT&T which likes to cap bandwidth so remote installs are an insane proposition. He makes his own bootable USB stick of 10.7.3., and in an effort to save bandwidth I borrow it and make a duplicate.
Now I did boot from the copy of the USB stick, but never installed, I just wanted to make sure it loaded just in case. Anyway, I quit of out the installer return to my usual start up disk (OCZ Vertex 3 120GB) and continue on. Eventually I download the 10.7.3 update through the System Update. All is well and fine. Couple weeks later, I decide to make another fully bootable USB stick, go to redownload from the App Store (new AT&T billing cycle) and now it is asking me for my father’s Apple ID and Password. It refuses to take my Apple ID and password and tells me there is an error and tells me to try again shortly.
So I turn on the Mac App Store Debug Menu, clear cookies, and reset the app. I try to redownload again, but his Apple ID is still on my machine. He has never used this machine, not once. How do I fix this?

My appstore app shows an update available for CodeBox, which I did not buy, does anyone know what the problem could be? I don't think I have been hacked (no money subtracted, etc.)

Hi all,
For some time now, my appstore app shows an update available for CodeBox, which I did not buy. When I try to update it it asks for my ID and password (all normal), but then it gives an Unknown Error.
I am 100% sure I didn't buy the app, I do not see any transaction on my card or in the appstore apart of this one, so does not seem to be a hack.
Does anyone know what is happening, this is a tricky thing which is making me lose trust in the payment/account system that Apple is using.

The first thing to do: Make a backup of your iPhoto Library. Don't update iPhoto without having a backup of your iPhoto library.
When I tried I received the following message This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
This error message means, that you did not yet associate your copy of iPhoto (preinstalled on your Mac) with your AppleID by clicking the "accept" button at AppStore "Purchased" page.
First try to "Accept" iPhoto on the Purchased tab and try, if you then can update iphoto from the Updates tab.
Now check the "Purchased" tab. Is iPhoto among your Purchases to "Accept" or "Install"? Then accept and/or install.
If it is not possible, delete iPhoto from the Applications folder .
(don't empty the Trash).
If it is not among your Purchases, open the AppStore main tab, search for iPhoto using the Search field, and buy it from the AppStore. If you already owned any version of iPhoto '11, this purchase should be free, from earlier versions it may be a paid upgrade.

I can delete the existing software and re-install but I don't want to lose all my photos.
Your photos are in your iPhoto Library in your Pictures folder and not in the iPhoto application. Just back up the iPhoto Library as a precaution, but reinstalling iPhoto will not delete your iPhoto Library.
