No apps under Purchases section?

Hi! I bought Mountain Lion last week.
Today I would like to download it to my secondary worksation (a MacBook Pro). When I signed in the App Store, go to the Purchases tab, it said "you have not yet purchased any apps." Why?
How can I get back my purchased app (Mountain Lion)?
Please help.. thanks!

Ok.. just making sure.

-  Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed to see if it makes a differnce.
-  Try deleting the cookies and cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to folder
Type of copy/paste:   ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Now type of copy/paste:  ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore
Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
Try the App Store.

  • How to hide apps in purchase section (ios 6)

I just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 6 but I cant find the way to hide apps from purchase section in the App Store , thanks

Disappointing, but the swipe-to-hide function does not seem to have made it to IOS 6.
However, there is a workaround.  You can still hide purchases via itunes.  If I remember correctly, there's a section for "Purchases" under  the "Store" area.  You can view purchased apps for all devices on your account.  Click an app icon, then click the (X) that appears in the corner.  iTunes will ask if you want to hide it.

Im unable to find deteted apps in purchased section in App Store ..please help me in restoring the deleted app

Is the app still in your country's store (if it isn't then you won't be able to redownload it), you haven't changed countries since buying it (content is tied to the country as well as the account), and it isn't hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?
If the app is no longer in your country's store then do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ?

  • IOS 6.0.1 update still no fix for App Store Purchased section

iOS 6.0.1 update still no fix for App Store Purchased section. Keep crashing after few seconds and kicked back to home.
Does apple even aware of this problem???

    Hi, thanks for your comment.
The steps that I have dines so far is similar to you I think.  I have all so tried a restore on all my devices running 6.0.1 and still nothing.  Have spoke to staff in an Apple shop and they were no help at all and kind said it was my devices that had the issue and nothing to do with anything at Apples end.  Have all s spoke to staff in a premium retail seller of Apple products and again, no he,o what so ever.    I think it's clearly a issue at Apples end with the serves sending out that data when request.  IOS6 is full of bugs and runs so slow it silly.
I'm thinking that Android is the way the forward after all the problems I've had with iOS6.

  • Deleting Apps in Purchased Section In iPad

    Hi Everyone,
I'm just curious if there is a way to delete the Apps in the purchased section.  I know this has been discussed before, but would like to know if there is a way to delete them.  Some of the Apps I just would like gone. If they stay in purchased section, you can place them back again even if they are deleted from the screen.
    Thanks Everyone.

You cannot delete apps from the purchased list. Not on any iOS device or on your computer either. It cannot be done.
You can hide the purchases in iTunes - but you have to do that on a computer - not on the iPad - if you are running iOS 6. if you are running iOS 5, you can hide the purches on the iPad itself.
You can read about it here.

  • State of apps under purchases tab not showing accurately

1.) I have downloaded and installed the new Numbers, Pages and Keynote apps (already launched and works), but it still appears in my Purchases tab as Resume (0 bytes out of XXX MB). They don't appear under Updates tab.
2.) I am downloading the latest GarageBand update, but it doesn't take the place of the current GB app I have (GarageBand 6.0.5) and remains a separate app. Also doesn't appear under updates tab.
3.) I clicked X next to the Download button of the Mavericks item since I have already installed it successfully. It disappeared (which I expected), but will I still get OS updates?
4.) iMovie update appears as a resumable download under Purchases tab but is not found under Updates.
5.) Only Xcode seems to appear accurately under both tabs.
Any answers, explanations or fixes for these? Thanks!

Providing it is the same app, you can download it again without being charged. It does not matter what price you paid (even if the app was free) - even if the app is no longer free this will be a free download.
To ensure it is the same app, go to (on your computer):
iTunes Store > Account > Purchase History
It's also possible that the app does not appear under the Apps tab if that app is not compatible with your iOS version.

  • Missing apps in purchased section of app store

All of my apps in the purchased section on the App Store are gone ? where have they gone ? is there a way to get them back? My apps were there yesterday.

I just tried to reset and that didn't work.  I did notice that when I check my iPhone the apps are showing in the purchased section of the app store, but still not on my iPad.  I looked in settings and it appears to be set to the Canadian store.
I don't know what else to look for.
Will the local mac store be able to assist do you think?

  • Hiding apps from "purchased" section of App Store on iPhone

I know that you can hide apps through the "purchased" section in iTunes on the computer however when I do this the apps still show up on my iPhone in the "purchased" section of the App Store. I have no problem hiding the apps in iTunes, so please don't bombared me with directions on how to do that, rather provide me insight on how I can hide the app from showing on my iPhone.

Not at the present, perhaps when things are out of beta that feature will appear.

  • Since last Sunday (October 6, 2013) I couldn't open the new downloaded applications. I saw it under app store, purchased section but couldn't open it. I am on ios7 now, is there some bugs regarding app store?

Since last Sunday (October 6,2013) i could not open the new downloaded

If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely. • Purchased apps on iPad, but only a handful appear in purchased section of app store, and I can't get them on my other devices.

I bought a ton of apps on my iPad (First generation), and when I upgraded to an iPad 2 (currently running ios 8.1.2), I was able to re-download those apps and purchase new ones using my same appleID.  However, now, when I go to the purchased section of the app store (both on my iPad and on my Macbook Pro) again using my same appleID, the only purchases showing are ones that I made after I upgraded to the iPad 2 (in Feb 2014). Nothing previously purchased shows up in that section. So now, when I try to use family sharing or even just download my early purchases onto a new device using my own appleID, I can't. The app store just prompts me to purchase the apps as if I never bought them before.
So, for example, I have minecraft pe on my iPad (it's still there and works fine, and it's the latest version 0.10.4). A few months ago, I was able to put it onto a new device (my brother's) using my appleID. He then deleted it off his iPad, but now wants to re-download it. Since we're on family sharing, he tried going to the purchased section of the app store under my name, but it wasn't there. When I looked on my own iPad in the purchased section, it wasn't there either. When I signed into his iPad with my appleID, and searched for the app in the store, it prompted me to purchase the app for $6.99 instead of offering to download it from iCloud, like it used to do. I've checked on my Macbook, and, there too, it doesn't show up in the purchased section. I don't have any hidden apps, so I couldn't 'unhide' it either.
At some point, I'm sure I'll upgrade my device, and I'd like to know that all my apps (including minecraft) can be downloaded - especially since I've been using the same appleID for all my purchases. Is there something I'm missing? Any help on how to get access to those apps that I've already bought onto new devices? I'd rather not have to re-purchase everything.
    Thanks in advance!

  • I bought an audiobook and it downloaded to my ipad but not my Gen4 itouch, it doesn't show an audiobook section under purchases, how do I do this?

    I am really upset.
I really love my itouch but anything beyond using it as a daytimer, camera and note keeper is shear torture.
I post a question, I have to repost it multiple times.
I search for a solution to a problem, such as, "How do I download an audiobook" - I get a web page of all the things that itouch can do, but no instructions on how to do them.
    So here's my latest problem.
Yes I am repeating myself again!
I bought an audiobook and it downloaded to my iPad, but, not my gen4 itouch, it doesn't show an audiobook section under purchases in iTunes, how do I do this?
Does anyone out there know of a web site that just gives answers to apple questions? ( I don't need to know what it could do, I need to know how to do it!)
    Thank you for your help!
    Ken

Have you checked to see whether it's in the Music app (iTunes on the iPad it just the store, it doesn't contain your downloaded and synced content) ? When you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library.
