No apps viewable in all iphone apps link past Sept 15th

All of the sudden it seems when I click on the the apps store then go to the selection "All iphone applications" (sorted by release date) it seems now ALL apps LATER than september 15th are just missing.. not there anymore... It says there are just 90 pages of apps when I know there used to be more under here...
However, clicking on the individual categories from the apps store homepage DOES show apps with dates up to the 26th (current).
I have this with TWO computers...
Is anyone else having this glitch?? I always use this to find out what the latest apps are... If not, is there any way to reset or fix this.. although it doesn't seem to be on my end...

That issue has been there all day for some strange reason.
There are quite a few weird glitches with the app store. Sometimes, when I go to all apps, it will show certain ones - I then go forward a page, then back a page and they change.
Some really odd things.
I hope this is fixed soon, as I look for new apps every single night after midnight as well!!!
It's a pain checking every individual category!
It's hard to contact Apple, as I have tried about a few things and there is no way.
I am having an issue with their 'Texas Hold em' game, when I go to their help page for it, they don't want me to contact them, they hope I find the answer in a FAQ that has NOTHING to do with the game.
I guess if we could just easily email them, they would be getting slammed with thousands a day, which is somewhat understandable.

First of all, this started when an external drive i was using died on me. I have no doubt that these apps indeed are off my system. I figure between the apps I've bought for myself and my kid, I have about 150 apps.
Now. The issue.
When I sync my iPad with iTunes on my desktop, it goes through normally until it gets to the apps. When that happens, it get an error box that reads "Some of the apps in your iTunes library were not installed on the iPad because one or more errors occurred. For a list of appps that could not be installed, click on the triangle below."
Then I get a list of apps.
(Added note to any iTunes developers out there: The titles of the apps in this list do not always match the titles of the apps in the App Store. For example, one was called "MuseumGame" on my iPad. It's called "Museum of Thieves" on the App Store. I started out with a list of 60 apps. It was a major pain to track them all down. It would be nice to have everything the same so I can use the App Store search more effectively.)
Anyway, moving on....
The error message stops my sync until I dismiss it. That, honestly, is what makes this whole thing annoying enough to seek out an answer. I can't let my iPad start syncing and walk out of the room. Yeah. I know. First World problems.
Once I dismiss the error, the sync continues and all is well.
I did the following to try to fix the problem. Mostly, I did a lot of searches:
My list of purchased apps on my iPad both using the search box and by going to every page
Searched the main App Store on my iPad using the search field. When that didn't work, I used wider searches and just scanned the page(s) for the little cloud icon that showed I had purchased the app.
I got on my desktop iTunes and searched the apps from there (without a lot of hope, but trying to be complete)
At that point, I came to the conclusion that a small number of the apps are no longer available on the App Store.
Fine. I didn't want them anyway.
I got into iTunes and went to the Apps page. None of the errant apps showed up there. I searched the iTunes help files. Nothing. I crossed my fingers, said a little prayer to the search engine gods, and tried Google. I found some things that sort of matched but they basically boiled down to "re-download the app from the App Store" or "Restore your iPad".
So I spent a couple of hours restoring my iPad. I got the error message again. I hit Google again and came up with this thread. It was as close to my problem as I found.
I think that brings us up to date.
My fundamental problem is that I seem to have found a scenario where if you have to restore apps (because, perhaps, your external drive died) and some of the apps are no longer available for download, there is an error generated that can not be permanently dismissed.
Did I miss anything important?

ITunes occasionally reinstalling ALL iPhone apps on sync. Why?

Every few weeks, when I do my daily sync, iTunes will reinstall ALL of my apps onto my phone. I have a lot of apps so this takes a very long time. It doesn't change the data/settings within the apps or the location of the app icons on my iPhone. My iPhone says "Sync in Progress" and iTunes says "Updating Applications on "iPhone"". Thank god this hasn't happened when I was in a hurry. Why is it doing this? Only 4 apps needed updating on this particular occasion.

Well i never. Four more tries, and suddenly - with not changes at either end - it worked.

Cannot authorize my mac and all iphone apps will be deleted!

As I sync my iphone to my mac, at the end of the syncing process, I get the message:
(My OS is in Swedish, so these are my own translations into English.)
"This mac is no longer authorized for apps installed on the iphone device. Do you want to autorize this mac for objects purchased from the iTunes store? If you do not authorize your mac 101 apps and their data will be deleted from this iPhone."
As I try to authorize it (Yes, with the correct account name and password) it just says:
"An error occured when authentication information was saved on this mac.
The required file was not found or has a permissions error. Fix the problem and try again, or deauthorize if the permissinons cannot be changed."
As I searched apple support I read somewhere that syncing required the shared file. I showed that file´s info and set my (I´m an administrator) rights to reading and writing. It did not help.
I then ran the Disk Utilities application to fix my permisssions. It did not work.
I then tried to shut down iTunes, I could not even close it.
I tried to deauthorize my mac, but I just got the same error message as above.
I know I have had problems before with permissions in different applications, but they have always been solved by just changing the permissions in the "show info" of the file.
I would love to just make a full system restore, but I´ve got almost 1TB of stuff on my hd, and it would just take forever...
What do I do?

Your iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. If you try to sync the iPod with a new computer, everything that is currently on the iPod will replaced with the contents from the new library.
If you do not wish to lose your Apps, you can use the File -> Transfer Purchases option to move them over to the new PC.

I have successfully uploaded my app to the App store, but it can only be found when I am using my iPad, it cannot be found on the iPhone App store.
What do I need to do to be able to find it on the iPhone App store?

Why does my App Store say all my apps are up to date when they're really not?

I'm in the process of updating my iPod touch 5G to iOS7, and before I do so, I would like to update all my apps to their current versions. However, no updates are showing in the App Store; it says they are all up-to-date when they really aren't. I had about 13 apps to be updated. Is this a glitch as a result of the Apple Store being increasingly optimized for iOS7? I haven't even updated to iOS7 yet; I'm still running 6.1.3. I can manually search for some of my apps in the App Store and update them way, but that's too much of an convenience. I'd like them all to be in the Updates section. Can someone help me out with this?

Mine was doing the same thing, open the store and go to updates and the screen will then refresh and tell you Itunes terms of service have changed. You'll have to agree to the new 54 pages of terms to get any updates

Why did iso7.1.1 change the ability to see your apps when you use four fingers to partly close the app your in. In 7.1 you could use four fingers to partly close a app and see all the apps on that home screen. I used this all the time to check the date

Why did ISO 7.1.1 change the feature where you could use four fingers to close an app and see if he other apps on your home screen as you were closing an app. This was the handiest feature I thought because I could partially close the app I was working in and see the date or other things on my home screen and then released the four finger position and be right back to the app I'm working in. Please change this in the next update back to the way it was!!!!!

I get the multitasking list (all prior apps, scrollable) and can switch to an app, swipe up to force it closed instead of "at rest" and can click back to the originating app in the same place i was prior to the swipe,

The app store thinks all my apps were bought with the same id

When i try to update all my apps (or individually) it always asks me for my main id, but i use 3 different ids, that all have paid apps. i can confirm all apps that will not update have been bought with the other two ids (not the main one). when i try to update an app that wasnt bought with my usual id i get this. "this discounted price is only available to customers who own a previous version of this item for other itunes accounts etc" Well i DO own a previous version. before it would ask for each id as necessary please help...

You can update it, however, you must login to the original Apple ID it was purchased with.
There is no way to merge these IDs, so in order to update you must do the following:
1. Sign into apple ID #1, download or update those apps
2. Sign out of Apple ID #1 and into Apple ID #2. Download/Update those apps
3. Sign out of Apple ID #2 and into Apple ID #3, Download/Update those apps
I would suggest that you download all of the free apps from each of the apple IDs onto ONE Apple ID.
For example:
You have angry birds free on ID #2, but want to use ID #1 as your main ID. Sign into ID #1, delete angry birds and redownload it using ID #1
This may help you from signing in and out quite so often.

Mail app works fine, all other apps cannot connect to wifi - suggestions?

I can connect fine to my work wifi but only the mail app is working - googlemail account. Safari cannot find server and all other apps requiring wifi do not work.
All of the apps work fine when connecting to my home wifi so nothing wrong with the ipod.
Confused. Do different apps use different wifi settings?

There might be a filter or firewall at work preventing access to internet. Check with your network administrator.

What shall I do about the app updates on my iPhones App Store don't come up. It says I have 11 updates but the update page stays blank and won't load?

On my iphone 5, I can't see any apps that require updating, but it shows a notification badge on the App Store saying that I have 11 to update? Does anyone know how I can get around this?

Did you tried to remove the App Store app from multitasking bar?
Double click the home button and hold down an icon. Then tap the little x to remove the app. Click home button ones and try again to use the App Store to update your apps.

With that said, you can always re-download your apps from the purchased section of the app store on your iPad.

Why my app store cannot display iPhone App?

I am using iOS 6
When I try to search an App, it can show me the result in iPad App Section. But when I go to iPhone App section, it have nothing. It is fine if it really don't have any iPhone App, but it still show i got 751 result.
When I go back to iPad App section, it have nothing too. I need to search again. What is wrong with my App Store?

That is her standard answer to this known problem. And it is not a bug!
You have a pirated app that is from the MAS and the app has been cracked with the MAS receipt from an app acquired with this person's MAS account. Get rid of your pirated apps to get rid of the issue.
Whichever was that last app that you downloaded for free from somewhere, rather than paying for it in the MAS, is likely the culprit.

Why is iTunes not showing all iPhone Apps to update?

When checking for updates for my purchased apps in iTunes I sometimes have a few to download - no problem there.
My wife uses the same PC/iTunes but with her own Apple-ID. She can sign in and do the same. Every now and then there are available updates on both Apple-IDs which we can download and sync without any problem. All OK so far.
However, after downloading all available updates for both Apple-IDs and syncing to the iPhone, the App Store on the phone tells me there are more updates. As they are listed on the phone I can check the list against the Apps in iTunes (using get info) and sure enough there are updates available which iTunes does not tell me about. This means I have to update each one on the iPhone to get the updates instead of getting them all automatically using iTunes.
If I browse to an affected App in the iTunes App Store, the button beneath the icon shows as 'UPDATE' even though checking for updates does not identify it.
Using iTunes 10.6.0.40 on Windows Vista with iOS 5.1 on iPhone 4.

I've always assumed those silly strings were recording the results of the gapless playback analysis but whatever they're for it would be better if they were stored in a spare field.
Windows Media Player/Windows Explorer may be less fussy on embedded artwork formats than iTunes or the media file might actually be missing the art but the Windows Explorer cache (Thumbs.db) still shows it. You say removing-reimporting doesn't help but I assume you can still paste new artwork in and have it remembered. If so you might want to use the following tool to at least take some of the effort out of searching out which tracks you need to repair.

To find all the tracks without artwork so that you can update them you can try http://www.stum.de/itunes-find-tracks-without-artwork/ for Windows or http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/scripts13.php for Macs. Use Google, Amazon, Discogs etc. to locate relevant jpeg images. Ideally these should be square, 320x320 pixels or above and borderless to give the best results in the various menus. If you have artwork for some tracks of an album, but not others, select a track with artwork, right-click (Option-Click for Macs) on the art & click copy, then select all the tracks of the album, use CTRL-I or Command-I to *Get Info* and then paste the image into the artwork box.
I say 320x320 because I believe (from using TouchCopy) that it's the size used in the iPod cache so if you're going to crop or resize you might as well work to that size. Otherwise 200x200 is probably good enough.

Syncing iPad causes all iPhone apps to be installed on it

I am in the process of syncing my iPad. It is currently at Step 4 -- Syncing Apps. The problem is that it is not just syncing the apps that I have installed on my iPad; it is also installing apps that were never on my iPad but are on my iPhone 4. This seems weird; I would think that iTunes can tell the difference between the two devices. I thought that I might turn off "Sync Apps" in the iTunes settings, but when I try to do that, it warns me that all apps on the iPad will be deleted.
Is there a solution/explanation?

As for there is no reason not to install them?
1) not designed to take advantage of bigger screen?
2) some have HD. apps, so you get double - 1 nice, 1 ugly
3) I don't use my iPad and iPhone for all the same things
4) solid state memory means there's a premium on space that I want to use for something else
I could go on, but suffice it to say there ere are plenty of reasons not to do that.

How to see all iPhone apps in category?

Is there a way to see all or more applications in one category than iTunes allows with its 21 items per page? Is there a page on Apple's website that will let you view more at once?
I know iTunes' browser view lets you see more items but you loose all of the descriptions. I like the regular view iTunes provide. I just want to see more items in that view.

I don't know how to refine a search. I am not very computer literate, but I keep trying! I finally found a few ways to find all. If I have a question about my Apple product, I often use Yahoo or Google. Sometimes among the result is one from Apple Discussions that works. Sites that claim to be Apple type search engine are somewhat disappointing, but worth trying. You might also find a weather app you like, and write a suggestion to the developer. One would think they like polite constructive feedback. I wrote to Big Cat O's and got a great response.
One way to find all:
1 Go to iTunes and select 'Store' in the tool bar at the very top of your screen.
2 Choose 'Search...' and then click on 'Results'
3 Choose 'Apps'. Select your category and device.
4 Click 'Search'
iTunes seems to be all about the music. Everything else is an clunky after thought. With the large number of apps you would think they would be willing to create a better search engine. They don't have to. You have their product. Tou have nowhere else to go. I do like Apple, but they can be a little arrogant.
