No attachment is included in the Mail from SOST

Hi SAPer,
Please could any of you help me out on this issue
We are on 4.6C. AP payment advice by means of BTE create an outbound email in SOST with payment advice to the correct mail addrsess and I can see the preview image of attachment within SOST.
The problem is that the auto-mail from SOST into my account does not have any attachment nor content at all.
Please advise me on what setting may cause this issue in SAP.

guys,I am using mfe on my E63 with mail2web free account.I configured gmail to retrieve my hotmail mails then I configured gmail to forward my mails to my mail2web account.I did that so I dont have to have more than one mailbox on my phone and to be able to check my all accounts from one account which is mail2web via mfe.but my problim is when I delete an email via mfe from my phone its not been deleted from mail2web servers.I mean when I login on pc I see all the mails that I have been deleted.can I make the phone to also delete the mails from the server? thanx

In exchange, you have something called Send as permission as well. Try to give send as permission to your self from the user's mailbox.
In exchange> Reciepient config> Mailboxes> user mailbox> right click> Full Send as permssion
or,
Add-ADPermission -Identity "user1" -User "[email protected]" -ExtendedRights Send-As
After you add your self in send as permission you need to wait for some time to propagate the settings or you can forcefully reset the information store services
That should solve your issue.

Since you are talking about receiving emails, do you see the emails in SOIN transaction (or report RSBCSIN)? Have you tried telnet directly to the SAPConnect plugin as described on note [607108|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/607108]
What is the value of parameter is/SMTP/virt_host_<*>?

You put the correct email address on your account ? And you've checked the spam folder on that account as well as the inbox ? If it's not in spam either then have you tried requesting the email again ?

The details you want to see through SOST transaction are possible with Tcode SOSV.
There is one more simple way to know the status of the the Mails along with Sender and receiver information.
SE16-> table SOST-> Field MSGTY (Status of the Mail S/ E)
SE16 --> SOOS ---> It will contain the Sender & Receiver Information as per the the Object No & Object Type.

Error in reading the mails from POP3 server

Hi,
I am reading mails from the POP3 server using UTL_TCP package. I am able to retrieve .txt & .doc attachments successfully.
I am facing an error when I try to retrieve an attachment with a very long name (irrespective of the file type). Also, I am unable to retrieve .docx, .xls, .xlsx file types. I noticed similarity in the reasons for the error I am getting. I realized that if I try to retrieve an attachment with a very long file name or any of the above mentioned file formats (.docx, .xls, etc.), the "name" attribute of the attachment goes to the next line and hence I am going wrong somewhere in parsing that line.(The complete line comprises of : Content-Type: application/vnd.openxmlformatsofficedocument.wordprocessingml.document; name="test_attachment.docx")
I realized this pattern by doing executing Telnet commands to retrieve emails from POP3 server.
I am trying to parse the line I am talking about in the following manner:

Hi,
Try to manually download the file from application server using standard transactions, and than check how many records are you able to download from app. server.
I guess there might be something wrong with the format of 583rd record, which makes sap assume that the file has come to an end.

Problem while sending the mail from sap

                 I am facing some problem while sending mail from sap to external mail.
