No audio in AVI movie (A required codec isn't available)

Hi there, I'm kind of new in Mac, I used Windows all my life and decided to start Mac since some months ago. I'm trying to see an AVI movie with Quick Time Player (Version 10.2 (603.17))  Currently using OS X M Lion Version 10.8.4 I've this message in Quick Time: A required codec isn't available.
Somebody can help? I was reading al lot of issues about that and tried everything like perian and nothing works.
