No Audio rendering in MPEG format

hello everyone, im having some problems with rendering audio and visual.
Really quick im trying to render/export in MPEG2 format.
i rendered in quicktime and its work fine but the files are near 1 gig for a 2 min video in HD.
so now i want a video file about 50 MB and i want to use MPEG2 format. but when I do it reners out the visual just fine but theirs no audio at all.
im using a MacBook Pro i7 OSX
i own CS5 master
what am i doing wrong what is going on? how come im getting no audio? is it because Mac is being stubbern by the format. im new to Mac so.
someone told me it could be the multiplexer?
i just want to render a 50MB video with audio at 480x 320 frame

Yeah, it's your multiplexing. Make sure that multiplexing is set to MPEG2. Other multiplexing options will render your audio as a separate file or else not at all.

  • Noo audio in Windows media Player when playing video exported in Mpeg format

Hi there, I really need help
I have edited a video and removed the audio.
I have added a song in the soundtrack part of the timeline.
When I 'share' as an 'mpeg' it renders etc perfectly.
When I play it on my comp it plays perfectly - In premiere and WMP
But If I put the file onto a usb or something similar and try to play it on another computer there is no audio.
    I have premiere elements 7
    I have windows vista Premium.
The computer I am trying to play it on has XP home edition 2002 and Windows media player 10.
The video is for a friend to put on their website, and chances are the audio wont appear on their computer either? I dont have internet on my comp so I havent tried uploading to youtube, so I don't know about that either, I would like youtube to recognise my audio also.
SO What I want is to be able to make a video, with audio that pretty much anyone can watch on any computer.
    Please help.
    Joshua

It appears that, when you output your MPEG, you chose an audio codec that your friend's computer doesn't support. (It's Dolby Digital by default. So entering the Advanced settings and changing the audio codec to MPEG or PCM might help.)
It's also possible your friend's operating system is way out of date, sine he's still running Media Player 10. He should go to Windows Update, select the Custom option and get all of the necessary updates.
He may have to do this several times, with computer restarts in between, if he's way behind with his updates, since some updates depend on other updates being installed. In the end, his XP should be at SP3.

Any one can help me to explain about this MPEG file format compatibility?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello Mark,
Yes, I think maybe the variable GOP is the problem.
I have tried test some clips, and all the variable GOP can't drag into the timeline.
The clips are ftp-out from our broadcast system storage (Harris) formerly known as Leitch. i think they put some encryption or somethink to make their product proprietary.
i can play the clips in the windows media player classic.
I'll try PPPRO CC and see what happen
Thank you very much for your advice.

  • CS4 MacOS X update to 4.0.1 No audio in imported MPEG files (AC3)

After update my Premiere Pro MacOS X to 4.0.1 ver,
no audio in impoted MPEG-2 (*.mpg) files whith AC3 audio.
How to install AC3 codec to Adobe Premiere in Mac Os X ???
I have installed AC3 codec (AC3 Codec 0.4 component) in folders:
    system/library/QuickTime
    system/library/Components
    library/Components
    library/QuickTime
but this does not solve the problem.

Was the 4.01 update supposed to add AC3 editing capability, something Premiere has traditionally not had in the past? I thought it was only supposed to add AC3
export capability (seeing as AC3 is a delivery format, and not a good choice for editing).

  • No Audio in converted MPEG 4 Videose

When I open an MPEG-2 movie in In Quick Time Pro 7.0.3 and attempt to export as an MPEG-4 (so that I can view this video in my iPod) the message box indicates that their is "No audio track in the source file" (although there is). Therefore the exported files convert without Audio. The conversion does work properly if I use the free Videora iPod coverter. However, I would like to use Quick Time Pro for this purpose. Trying to export to other formats in Pro 7 also do not work (h264, etc)
    Please Advise???? Joe Caboose

QT does not export sound from muxed mpeg files: QT Mpeg Limitations
This thread contains information on how to demux mpeg files and then convert the audio mpeg stream to a wave file.
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1171379?
It does not specifically state it works with mpeg-2 but it is worth a try. Once you can get the wave file you can use QT to convert it to any QT sound format you want. It is then possible to convert the mpeg-2 video stream to other formats, since you appear to already have the mpeg2component. Once you have both the video and audio stream converted to non-mpeg formats you can select all and copy the video track to the clipboard , then open the converted sound stream, Select All and use Add to Selection and Scale and you should then have the two tracks in the same QT file.

  • MP3 audio on an MPEG-4

Can the iPod playback an MPEG-4 video with MP3 audio?

    I do not believe so.
This is from the iPod Tech Specs page:
MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 mbps, 480 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats
No mention of MP3 audio in the MPEG-4 format. This usually means its not supported.

  • Recording from an audio cassette into digital format on a Satellite A100

I want to record old music tracks from an audio cassette into mp3 format or similar. I have downloaded Audacity software but don't know if I can actually set up a line-in connection from my cassette player to my Toshiba Satellite A100. Is this possible via the micophone connection? Are there alternative ways of arranging this via one of the USB ports?
If anyone has suggestions I would be interested to read them.
    Thanks
    Ken

    Hello Ken
If you want to do this on professional way you need right stuff for doing this. A friend of mine has bought some package to digitalize old gramophone records. He bought some external device and special software.
I can really do not remember the name of this product but I know it was connected over USB port. The gramophone or, in your case, cassette player must be connected to this external device.
Google little bit around and you will find many good products for these purposes. In my opinion the MIC port is not the best solution.

  • HT3775 How can I play an audio file in 3GP format?

    Hi,
I have an audio file in 3GP format, which was recorded in a mobile phone and transferred to me.
I am not able to play it using QuickTim and VLC Player.
Can someone please help me how to play this?
    Regards
    Sharath Arun

Is that file played in a tab in the current window or in a separate pop-up window?
Are you allowing pop-up to modify the window size (dom.disable_window_move_resize = false)?
You can try set the Boolean pref <b>media.windows-media-foundation.enabled</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the built-in HTML5 media player.

  • Audio Rendering

    Hey Guys
Im importing all my old videos through imovie using my vcr to camera to computer (since FCE needs a "timecode") when i bring in the video which can be up to 30+ minutes long is their anyway to turn off the audio rendering or still watch the footage without having to render the whole video.
It also annoys me that i can't change simple things listern and if i like render everything at the end.
does anyone have any good suggestions on what i can do?

    Why not capture using FCE.
You need to change the Easy Setup to DV Converter.
Using iMovie you will always have to render the audio as iMovie uses a multiplexed DV Stream Codec.

  • Windows Media Player not selecting custom audio renderer filter on Windows 7 (works with graphedit)

    Hi there,
I have custom directshow audio renderer filter derived from CBaseRenderer base class and implements IBasicAudio interface.
Filter works fine with graphedit and media player classic, I am able to receive audio data. But when I try to play file using Windows Media Player, filter gets callback in completeconnect followed by breakconnect and then its discarded.
Things I have tried so far --
Implement IBasicAudio interface, still fails with WMP
Modify audio renderer filter to connect with video decoder, it works fine with WMP and I can get dump of raw video data
Implement IReferenceClock interface, still fails with WMP
Implement this filter using CBaseFilter as base class, still same outcome, CompleteConnect on receive pin followed by BreakConnect and filter is discarded
It seems that Windows Media Player is looking for some specific interface that I might have not implemented or is picky for audio renderer. I found similar issue at https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/windowsdesktop/en-us/6e5985fb-3ca2-41b3-9a99-7a9b97ae7357/directshow-filter-stopped-working-in-windows-7-media-player.
    But it seems unresolved.
Please help, am stuck on this issue for 3 days without any luck. Any clues on this is appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Thanks for the reply Roman.
Most of QuerryInterface calls received in NonDelegatingQuerryInterface callback inside filter are same as that for greaphedit.
From http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mediasdkstuff/archive/2008/09/19/custom-directshow-audio-renderer-hangs-playback-in-windows-media-player-11.aspx, it seems that WMP on Windows 7 uses preferred list of filters using IAMPluginControl that cannot be modified
    by 3rd party.
There has to be some workaround for this that am trying to figure out. Any clues on this?
    Thanks,

sorry I meant to say, export as an MPG not MPEG. I'm trying to export the file then upload that file to a PC based system that will not recognize the MPEG extention. I work with others who use AVID and squeeze their projects the same way I do, but I'm using compressor. I've compared what their final file type is to mine, and the only difference i can see is that extention being MPG for theirs and MPEG for mine. I know this is so lame, but I'm going nuts trying to figure this out!

  • Is any one else having problems converting audio books in WMA format with the new v5

Is any one having trouble with audio books in WMA formatting converting with the new ios v5

Since updating to OS5 in my itouch I have lost all my library audio books. I have downloaded a couple of new library audio books. The books look like they are being loaded into my itouch but are not there. The only way I can access them is to make a playlist for each book and drag the numbered files into the playlist folder. There are a lot of problems with this method - book chapters are not in order (I have to tried to reorder them without success) and if I stop listening to a book, when it starts again it starts at the beginning of the chapter. Before OS5 I had no trouble with WMA files or anything for that matter. I hope there is a solution soon.
