No Audio When MPG files converted in Quicktime???? Please Help!

When I convert a video file to Mpeg4 in Quicktime Pro, and then exported to iTunes, the video content is there but no audio. I tried this witha few different video files and happens on all of them. What am I doing wrong???
Please help!

Firstly, do a search before posting, since this is like the fiftieth posting about this very topic. try the thread/tutorial that has "read this before posting" as part of the topic, and you'll have one answer, at least.

This is not entirely true: QT will not trash audio from all formats when converting for iPod, only from muxed MPEG formats.
MPEG clips (especially .vob files found on DVDs) comprise 'muxed' audio and video channels. basically it means that both are combined as one stream. QT can only extract the video channel from this, leaving the audio floating somewhere in binary limbo. with MPEGs, you WILL first have to use a 3rd party app to convert to a codec that shows A&V channels seperately in QT. handbrake or mpeg-streamclip are great on mac, and vidora is the pc option of choice it seems in this forum.
other QT formats (settings/codecs) work FINE with QTPRO. just ensure you use the correct export settings...

FCP 5.0.4 freezes when rendering or converting to quicktime on my intel macbookpro. It really is very bothersome because I can't complete projects without rendering. I recently was just told that we should not download any updates at all for any appliction unless it is absolutely neccessary. Is there any truth to this. Would I be better off doing a complete erase and install to get rid of all updates that I have installed. My mac book is a 2.4 ghz with 2 gigs of ram, 200 gb hd, and 512 of vram. Help! My dead line is approaching.

What you've heard about Academic versions is correct. They are not upgradable.
If you want to run a version of FCP that is compatible, you have two options.
1. purchase a used PPC computer (G4/G5) and run your version of FCP 5 on it.
or
2. purchase a version of FCP designed to work on intel processors (v5.1 or higher).
#2 can be satisfied by purchasing a used version of 5.1 (full retail install) on ebay. Alternatively, if you qualify for academic pricing, FCS3 can be had for around $900 rather than the $1300 for the retail version.
On another subject, the MacBook is hardly the ideal editing platform no matter what version of FCP you are running ...

Quit Safari.
Hold the shift key down and relaunch Safari.
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

I am not aware of a field type "Help" within a PDF form. I do not see it as a form field that can be added in the form edit mode.
Forms Central forms do not support all the features of Acrobat forms.
Are you talking about the "Tool Tips" or a hidden field that only shows when one enters a field and is hidden upon exiting the field.

Of course not. You need ACR (Camera Raw) version 2.4. Version 2.0 does NOT support DNGs.
After you correctly install ACR 2.4 according to the instructions on the download page and after you relaunch Photoshop, you need to Purge the Cache for each folder.

You don't say what components you are trying to import into the EUL. But it could be that you are importing a business area which has security access granted to a user that is not defined on the target system. It could also be that the user you are using to do the import does not have admin access to all the components you are importing.

Try unsyncing the sone and then resyncing. That works sometimes. Sometimes restoring from backup works. Other times nothing seems to work.. Yuo are not alone since iOS5 and iTunes 10.5/6.

SOLUTION:
Iam pointing t0 windows7 os.
1) go to control panel
2) open hardware and sound
3) In that open Devices and printers
4)In that u can find Apple Iphone.
5) now right click on this --> Hardware --> Properties --> General --> Uninstall --> ok.
6) now unplug and plug in ur iphone again.There u go u iphone name changes to its original name.

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems.
