No authorization for object ALVL in integrated planning

while transfering aggregation level in IP,raises the following error,
'No authorization for object ALVL <name of the aggregation level'.
i see a OSS Notes for the same - Note 913852 - IP: Content-transferring aggregation levels release on 10/01/2006.while importing notes 913852 go the following error:

What happened?

IP in NW2004s - Security error for object ALVL

Hi,
When we try to create aggregation level on a realtime infoprovider getting security error. It says "No authorization for object ALVL..."
We are at NW2004s -SP7. This object was included in the role with an "*". Security trace for ABAP as well Java does not tell anything. The infoprovider is a regular one with out any We did try with much broader security like SAP_ALL.
Did anyone encountered this type of Issue?
Any help is appreciated.

Error - No authorization for object while viewing transformations in BI 7.0

Folks,
In BI 7.0, In the Data flow diagram, when I had tried to click on the transformation sybmol, system is throwing an error message No authorization for object   (authorization object ) Message no. RS_EXCEPTION250
Do I need to request for authorization to just view transformations or is this error something different ?

SMT1 creating trusted system error No authorization for object S_ADMI_FCD

SMT1 creating trusted system gives error No authorization for object S_ADMI_FCD even after giving authorizations in both the system. Was not able find the issue by debugging.

Hi,
Have you tried assigning authorizations to the id from which you are creating trusted system?
If no, please do it and check.
Also check in SU53 after getting the authorization error.
Also check the connection between two systems in SM59.

Hello,
this is an authorization problem: user must run transaction SU53 after getting the error message in order to see in detail the authorization object and values missing. Then you must ask the person who manages authorization profiles to maintain properly the user's profile.
Tipically some roles are assigned to the user: you must identify the role to be maitained, then go to transaction PFCG and in the authorization tab, add the missing authorization object and/or the missing authorization value for the activity. An alternative way is identifying an existing role with the expected values and assign it to the user.

I'm looking for a best practice guideline, or a strategy pattern for the management and maintainable of Integration Builder objects.
Is their such a document, or has someone experience with a huge amount of objects ( 200-300 interfaces) ?
I was thinking about a folder to sub-folder strategy, but don't feel comfortable with that solution:
-->Root folders ( business relationship e.g. "Customer", "Supplier", "Bank" etc.)

I am in the safe confusion one year back, we developed 200 interfaces in XI3.0 ,every interfaces has minimum 10 mapping programs,its difficult manage the alla scenarios ,
That what i created Software components for as per region like SA(South America), North Americ , Europe, Asia Pacific,we developed interafces for above regions,that why created software compinehts like that.
Then i created name spaces inside outbound and inboud to easy to diffentiate ..like that i had done.
If you are with PI7.1 betetr to go for Folders,create folders and move objects.

Normally BI query I can get object level authorizations,
I have customer.
I can restrict customer ( 1-10) for 1 user , this query is with me now.
if i build universe, and web intelligence
in BO this authorizations will get automatically?
or i need to restrict customer also in web intelligence.
is there any radio buttons, drop boxes for my reports in BO?
how to publish BO reports in my portal for end user purpose?

when you use a BI query with authorization variables the authorization variable will take care of the BI security and yes the OLAP universe will leverage it as well.
there is nothing "special" to do in the Universe

Authorization for object M_MATE_MAR is not checking with VA01

Hi Experts!
I want to restrict the user to create sales orders for particular materil types only in transaction VA01.
I checked the object M_MATE_MAR is marked as authorization relevant for VA01 in SU24. But it is not working.
Can anybody help me?

Hi,
Go to SU24.... out tcode VA01 and execute.... find the object M_MATE_MAR and change the "Check Indicator" to Check/Maintain (C/M).
In ECC 6, this option should be:
Check Indicator = Check* &
Proposal = YS*
Then go to PFCG --> Go to Authorization Tab of that particular role and open in "Expert Mode for Profile Generation" and then regenerate the profile after maintaining the relevant object if any.

Integrated Planning object issue - ALVL

Hello,
We just installed NW04s. I'm trying to evaluate Integrated Planning for a new project. I am able to login to the modeler and select my Infoprovider.
However when I click on the Aggregation level tab and try to create the level I receive the error message 'No authorization for object ALVL Zname (authorization object)...Currently basis has not been able to help.
Is this a new auth object with IP? We are on SP07.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

Authorization for navigational attribute

Hi Gurus,
I am facing an authorization issue with respect to infoobject hierarchy. I have created authorizations as below.
There one infoobject 'A' and a navigational attribute 'B' in infoobject 'A'. This navigational atribure A_B is used in an infocube. And hierarchy is uploaded to Infoobject 'B'. Now I want to give authorization for this hierarchy in infoobject 'B'.
Now coming to authorization.
1. I have made Infoobject 'B' as authorization relevant in Business explorer tab.
2. Created authorization object say ABC in RSSM and inculded infoobject 'B' & 0TCTAUTHH (since I want to authorize the hierarchy and we are using 3.5 authorization concepts in BI 7.0).
3. Activate this authorization object for the infocube.
4. Included this authorization object in the role included for my user. In the field 'B' of authorization object I have given ' ' (space) and in the field 0TCTAUTHH I have given the technical name of the hierarchy.
4. In 3.5 query designer I have put this navigational attribute A_B in the filter area and activated the hierarchy in the properties tab for the same hierarchy that I inculded in previous step.
5. Created a variable with processing type authorization.
Now when I run this report I get an error as no authorization for object ABC.
Can someone help me if I have done anything wrong.

Hi,
In the infoobject A maintenance screen check the chekc box for field "AuthorizRelevant" for B to make it authorization relevant navigational attribute.
Then go to RSECADMIN and ope your relevant authorization.
In the menu bar just above the "Authorization Structure" you will find the button with icon of infoobject.
Chick on this icon this will give you a screen to enter characteristic name of which attributes are to be added to authorization.
Enter the infoobject A name here and click on continue.
This will give you list of all authorization relevant navigational attributes present for A.
Add B from this list to the authorization.

I have log on with salespro role in CRM 7.0.When I try to click the link in UI for creating activity journal template.
It said that I don't have authorization.
Could I ask where to control this authorization?

Errors with Integrated Planning authorizations

Dear experts,
We are working with Integration Planning, and when we try to create or
modify whatever object (by the modeler or the wizard) we receive an error message like this:
"You have no authorization for Multiprovider XXXX"
Not only Multiprovider, but InfoCube....whatever object.
The curious thing is that we have with the user we are working a SAP ALL.
With the T-CODE bps0 we can do everything, but with T-CODE rsplan is
impossible.
Weve checked in the T-CODE su53 and everything is OK.
Weve checked in the T-CODE rsecadmin and nothing there.
Weve checked as well in the T-CODE st01, followed the actions with the
trace and all the return codes are 0.
Does anyone know what happens?

Lets come back to authorization: I am not sure whether RSECADMIN is a newer version of RSSM. Reason: In RSSM you can activate authorization check for a cube or MP but in RSECADMIN you administrate authorization for an user.
I am not sure, but I think that your problem is related to this issue. If not, there are very strange problems with the web authroization, its true: What we have done is to copy an exisiting BW user and assign him the same authorization like in web. Reason: To create a new user in the web does not work in all cases. We had very much problems with SP7, since we have SP10 we dont have those problems.
