No Authorization for Planning plant in MIGO

Hi Gurus,
I have an issue for the Goods Receipt for multiple line items of account assigned( F) PO.
When user try to receive goods thru MIGO, system throws an error (dump) saying "NO AUTHORIZATION FOR PLANNING PLANT XXX" even though roles are assigned to the user.
I went thru the OSS note 385830 but it hardly helped me.
Pls throw some light on the issue...

Hi,
Check for the Authorization Object that system is referring for the error in SU53 transaction. You may process the transaction and once the error comes, go to transaction SU53 check for the Authorization object there.
You can check the roles available for a given authorization object in SUIM transaction.

I have one requirement that, Creating Authorization for multiple plants
SELECT-OPTIONS:    s_werks FOR mseg-werks.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'M_MSEG_WMB'
           ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '03'
           ID 'WERKS' FIELD s_werks.
1. If have no of plants in s_werks then how to authorize the plants?
2.if i dont enter any plant in my selection screen how to authorize that?
3. if i have 5 plant only then how i can authorize those perticular plants only?

S_WERKS is not a field; it's a set of fields. Use simple ABAP to select your plants and loop at the selection(s) to check...

Authorization object for PLANNING PLANT

Hi all,
My client has different Planning plant & Production plant.
If I need to give access to GR for order (MB31), how do I know the authorization object for the Planning plant.
User should be given access to MB31 to the Planning plant & NOT to the Production plannt.
Any idea where we could find the authoriz. objects for a particular field?

these are the authorisation objects with activities as ACTVT and WERKS
Maintaine the values for ACTVT as
01 Create or generate,
02 Change
03 Display
04 Print, edit messages
and maintaine the values WERKS   (ur plants 4 which u want to give authorisations)
and BWAR ( movement types 4 which u want to give authorisations)

Problem with Authorization for Planning folder

Hi an having a problem with providing authorization for a planning folder
i am getting the following error when i test it with test user

Message no. UPC202
Diagnosis
You have selected a function, to execute this the system must set up an RFC connection to another SAP System. However, setting up this connection was not successful. The following internal error message was generated:
"You do not have authorization for InfoCube ZT_MR_T "
Procedure
Inform the system administrator.
we are not pulling the data from any other server, all the data is on the sif any one has faced the same issue let me know.

Active authorize for field in TCode MIGO

In Display material Document (by MIGO), there are field GOITEM-DMBTR (Amt.in loc.cur.)
How to active the authorize for this field
For Example User A can display this field and user B can't display

this can be done by basis consultant...
if u r missing authorization then...run SU53..and note down the object which is giving the authorization issue..
and then ask ur basis consultant that..assign that object to particular user role...

Priority field mandatory for planning plant-order type

Hi
Is there a standard way through configuration that I may contol priority field in order header to be mandatory for some order types only in one planning plant?
Problem is that if I make the priority field mandatory for order type, it will be so for all the planning plants which i dont want. Also i dont want it to mandatory at planning plant level since there are many order types under one planning plant and requirement is to make priority field mandatory only for some order types under this plant.

In the transaction we can separately make it mandatory for either planning plant or order type.
My requirement is for combination of both.

Authorizations for planning

Hi,
We are facing the following issue concerning authorizations for integrated planning.
An employee 'X' should be authorized to change its own planning and display the planning of other employees. Furthermore the employee should see WBS elements 1 & 2 while planning and all WBS elements while displaying.
I created two authorizations:
1) EMPLOYEE = 'X', ACTIVITY = '02', WBS = 1, 2
2) EMPLOYEE = '', ACTIVITY = '03', WBS = ''
and an authorization variable, which is in the characteristic restrictions of the query.
By doing this, while running the query the employee always gets to see ALL the WBS elements (for all employee numbers). While changing his own planning, he gets the message 'insufficient authorizations'.
How can this issue be solved in analysis authorizations?

Display authorization for plan data

Dear All,
I have to split users into two categories as reviewers and planners.
I have created two roles from rsecadmin. For plan users it is working perfectly but for the reviewers system gives an authorization issue.
Plan users auth:
0TCAACTVT - ACTIVITY : 02
Reviwers auth:
0TCAACTVT - ACTIVITY : 03
Is there any possibility to do it but copying queries as not input enabled?

We need to set up authorization for a user based on 'delivering plant' in Sales Order registration (VA01). It appears there is no standard available for this.

Hi,
1. You can create a custom authorization object (via SU21 or equivalent); add field 'ACTVT' with permissible values '01', '02', '03'.
2. In form USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP of include MV45AFZB, you can call the function module AUTHORITY_CHECK, to check the authorization and throw an error.
This user exit is triggered everytime a user makes any change to item level, i.e. applicable for change of plant too. The call for authority check can be based on whether plant is changed or not. I guess *VBAP and VBAP can be compared to check whether plant is changed. If *VBAP-WERKS is not equal to VBAP-WERKS, then call authority check FM by passing username, custom object name, FIELD1 = 'ACTVT', VALUE1 = 01 or 02. If exception returned by FM is USER_NOT_AUTHORIZED, you can throw an error message.

Authorization for Planning Function

Hello All,
I want to exclude users in a WEB Planning Application from a planning function which copies data from one version to another.
I have deactivated the following authorization objects, but still the user can use the copy function.
R_METHOD
R_PACKAGE
R_PARAM
R_PLEVEL
R_PM_NAME
R_PROFILE
R_STS_CUST
R_STS_PT
R_STS_SUP
Only when I take away R_AREA the user cannot copy anymore but he also cannot access the planning layout to enter data manually.
Any ideas?

Hi Harry,
between authorization object for planning exist hierarchycal relationship.
So if you use object R_AREA with activity "Execute" the user can execute all area's opbjects.
If you want limit the execution of planning method you must use object R_METHOD with activity "Execute" only for function that user can execute.

MD04 exceptions for planning plant and delivery plant

I have a material that is to be produced in another plant via a special procurement key. When a production order is created at times on MD04 I can see exceptions at the planning plant and not the delivery plant. Is there a way to make sure the planning plant displays the exceptions as well? Thanks in advance for any help.

I found the answer. Since planning is only expected to be done at the planning plant the rescheduling dates and exception messages only apply there. There isn't any config to allow the production plant to see the reschedule dates or exception messages.

Authorization for cost center in migo transaction

Dear Experts,
I need to restrict the user by the cost center assigned to him in the migo transaction,
i tried with these objects A_S_KOSTL, K_CSKS and K_CCA. As per forum threads I also maintained the check in su24 , but still authorization is not happening.
please let me know how to do it, is there any user exits to achieve .

You can do teh followign , apart from others :
1. Ask the business owner the values for teh objects...ofcourse explain to them what the objects are in plain lainguage.
2. Then populate the values "accordingly"
OR
1.As an earlier post...trace teh user --on ST01 - here again - you can give eiither wide access and trace teh path and then restrict ..or restriced acces and then each time a road block is hit ..analysi s and assign.
BUT DONOT maintian SU24 to restrict acces !!

Restrict F4 search results for specific plants / sales org / purchasing org

We have a project where a particular plant / sales org / purchasing org needs to be restricted because of the top secret data for that business. We would like to be able to restrict the search results that are displayed based on sales org / plant / purchasing org in the F4 help. If a user does not have access to the data / documents related a plant / sales org / purchasing org, we do not want the user to be able to see doc numbers, ship-to's, material numbers etc... My question is where do we restrict F4 results for the Sales and Distribution, Finance, Materials Management, Production Planning, Logistics, etc... modules? Thanks in advance for the help.

Single Purchase Order for different Plants of Different Company Codes

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario, My Client has 3 Company Codes (1000, 2000, 3000 )
Company Code 1000 has 2-Plants    ( A001 and A002 )
Company Code 2000 has 1-Plant      ( B001 )
Comapny Code 3000 has 3-Plants   ( C001, C002, C003 )
All these 3-Company codes has centralised purchase organisation.
My Client requirement is to raise a single purchase order for external vendor, for all the plants A001, A002 which is in one company code and similarly in same Purchase Order for B001 plant which belongs to 2000 Company Code and Similarly for same purchase order for C001, C002, C003 plant which belongs to 3000 Company Code.
1)Is it possible to raise a Single Purchase to External Vendor for plants of Different Company Codes ?
2)Does it affect the accounting document ?
3)How to inward and where to inward these goods ? with respect to plant wise ?
Please Guide with Valuable inputs.

1) How about Profit Centre ? We have Framed each Profit Centre with respect to Plant
Why should there be a problem?
2)In Case of Migo does we have to be careful and do stepwise MIGO with respect to different Plants ?
of course people have to be careful when performing transactions.
if you have multiple items in a PO then you can easily receive all items in one go. So people have to careful and need to check if they really received each of the PO items. Especially if people have authorization for many plants, then the user who is usually performing the receipts for plant A can easily post the receipts of plant B too.
3) How to Process MIRO ? Can we process Partial MIRO"S with respect to Line-items of those particular Plants ?
MIRO allows to post the invoice like it is send to you from your vendor. If it is just for a part of your PO then this is just a fact and MIRO allows to post this kind of invoices too.
