No Authorization Message in ME11

Hi All,
I have been working on Xn. ME11.
If I select Standard / Pipeline from Info Category it's displaying a Error Msg 'No Authorization' which is a Z Msg Class.
While Selecting Subcontracting / Consignment next screen has been displayed.
This happens by giving values to Vendor and other fields or by just pressing the Enter Key.
We have activated the Debug, but it doesn't goes to the Message 'No Authorization' where it has been called, but the Msg has been displayed.
We have consulted the Client regarding this and they came back that this is not an Aurthorization Issue, but a ABAP Program related one.
Searched for the Error Msg for the Report Program for Xn. ME11 and couldn't able to find the Solution.

Yes, I have checked SU53 and no Authorization Object has been displayed, were Roles have been displayed instead.
Presently checking on the Msg No and the Class where it has been used and get back to you soon.

"No Authorization" message

I work for a school district. In using a free app, I got a "No Authorization" message and tried everything without success. Ex: downloading a new app, etc.
I finally tried "Reset all Settings" and the "No Authorization" Issue was solved.
So I passed this on to the teachers using the same free app.
But in a few cases, resetting all settings caused them to lose the school district's wi-fi (i.e., erased the district's wireless security code?).
I was okay - it didn't happen with me.
QUESTION: Is there a way to reset without effecting the district's wireless security code? THANKS!

There's actually no problem with the VPETouch app. This has been well-tested since VPETouch is our product.
The problem seems to be related to an Apple ID authorization issue. According to Apple: "If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information."
We have tried this - which works for about 75% of cases. But for the most dramatic cases had to use Reset.
This allows the VPETouch app to work fine in a wi-fi environment other than the school (i.e., Starbucks, at home, Panera Bread, etc.) - but messes up the PE teacher's ability to get back on to school district's wifi network.
So I was wondering if someone knows a solution to this. In other words, is there a way to reset the IPodTouch without erasing the stored data for a school district's wifi? Maybe not!

What is the "Error! Check Authorization" message and why does my Digital Editions crash right after that pops up?

I have authorized the Adobe Digital Editions with both my PC and my eReader. I try to download a library book and I get the "Error! Check Authorization" message. My Digital Editions will then crash.

Types of authorization messages

I am working on a JMS project and my requirement is to find out types of authorization messages.
Could any one please help me out what exactly are the types of messages or provide me any link which has such type of information.

A --> Termination Message
The message appears in a dialog box, and the program terminates. When the user has confirmed the message, control returns to the next-highest area menu.
E --> Error Message
Depending on the program context, an error dialog appears or the program terminates.
I --> Information
The message appears in a dialog box. Once the user has confirmed the message, the program continues immediately after the MESSAGE statement.
S --> Status Message and Sucess message
The program continues normally after the MESSAGE statement, and the message is displayed in the status bar of the next screen.
W --> Warning
Depending on the program context, an error dialog appears or the program terminates.
X --> Exit
No message is displayed, and the program terminates with a short dump. Program terminations with a short dump normally only occur when a runtime error occurs. Message type X allows you to force a program termination. The short dump contains the message ID.

Authorization message problem with variant transaction

Hello everybody, I have created a transaction variant ZMM01 from transaction MM01. In the role I specified this new transación (ZMM01) in S-TCODE.
I can create the material but at the end, instead of the message "material zzz created" I received the message "you are not authorised to MM01".
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

If I include this I allow the user to access transction MM01, but I don´t want to.

Authorization message in Work center

Dear friends !!!
I am having one problem with my work center, in my mail box whenever i receives the leave approval request i need to approve it, and it goes back to time administrator, but here It gives me No maintenance authorization for the cluster exists message, please tell me what is worng in my case and how i rectify it. ( Do i need to have authorizations for PA61, I ma having ESS).

Authorization messages for only certain songs?

two songs I recently downloaded repeatedly ask for computer authorization and when I do it says this computer is already authorized but when I try to play them the same message comes up? Others I download work fine?

They’re corrupt. Delete and redownload them if doing so is free in your country.

Idocs: BD20 Authorization Message Variant and Function Message

Hello Experts,
I have one question about BD20 authorization.
I'm creating Idocs filling Message Variant and Function Message with specific values.
Users themselves are going to run the BD20 to process those Idocs. To control this, i want do some authorization about Variant and Function parameters so the can run only idocs with the variant and message function I specified.
There are any standard authorization object about those parameters 'Message Variant and Function Message' that i can use to fix this issue?

Syncing not working, authorization message keeps popping up, no matter what.

When I try to sync all my iPhone apps/music/etc.. from my Mac air on to my iphone 4 Itunes says the computer is not authorized. Tried all the tricks given (authorize, on/off, check account, trying to only updates apps, update software) and it will once again tell me it is not authorized. After 8 hours of frustration, please advise.

Though you mentioned DNS is working properly, please check if DNS forwarder is set as set correctly.
And incase it is caused by authentication, please try to force Kerberos to use TCP - by default it using UDP and on a slow VPN connection, UDP packets may be dropped.

If only some of the tracks from the album are throwing authorisation errors at you, that suggests that the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

How to set authorization in more detail for ME11,e.g. material group, etc.?

Hi,
As we know, we can use plant, purchasing organization, purchasing group as authorization object to carry out authorization check when creating purchasing info record in ME11.
But now my customer wants to set authorization in more detail, for example, use material group and some certain fields in vendor master.
It seems standard authorization setting for ME11 cannot do this.
Is there any method to meet the need? or some enhancements or BADi?

Thanks for your information. I have thought of creating authorization object values, but the problem is where to let SAP carry out the authorization check to the new object in ME11/ME12.
So I think maybe some enhancements can let us write authority check code to do it.
But I am not sure which enhancement or user exit can be used to write this code.

Logical OR in BW authorizations

Hi,
I am using BW 3.5. and have following authorizations issue:
My cube contains 2 country-related infoobjects, 'sender-country' and 'receiver-country'.
For simplification lets say the cube contains only 3 records:
Sender   Receiver   Amount
DE         FR           100,--
FR         GB            80.--
US         DE            70,--
The user access to this cube must be restricted like this:
User 1 should have access to all DE data, but regardless in which country field the value DE occurs, in other words, its a logical OR. if the value 'DE' appears in either field the record should be displayed. In the example above he would therefore see record 1 and record 3.
Likewise, another user with access to FR should only see record 1 and 2.
To my knowledge the authorizations usually work as a logical AND, that is, if I make both characteristics authorizationrelevant and create 2 roles with:
Role 1:
Sender: *
Receiver: DE
and
Role 2:
Sender: DE
Receiver: *
then it will internally grant * to both sender and receiver which I dont want.
Any ideas how to design this?

Unfortunately it does not work with this approach, or only partly.
I have set up the authorizations the way you mentioned, still I am getting a 'no authorization message' for records that should be accessible now.
On the other hand, the existing roles do work correctly if I put fixed filter values for the countries into the query.
For example a query with SENDER = DE, Reciever = ZZ is accessible, which is correct with the new roles.
However, the scenario does not work if the allowed filter values are retrieved via the authorization variables.
I think this behavious is due to the inability of the query to process logical OR filters.
The authorization variables retrieve the allowed values from the roles.
These roles contain now the allowed value set
Sender = DE, Receiver = *
and
Sender = *, Receiver = DE
These values cannot be applied meaningfully as it would lead to a logical OR in the query select statement which cannot be done.
So I dont see any further solution to this....do you?

Multiple Libraries - Authorization Question - For NON-iTune purchased music

Please help! The questions come at the end.
I have an extensive classical music iTunes library in AAC format that I ripped from CDs I've purchased over the past 20 years. NON of these were purchased from iTunes. (I have another library on my PC with other music, and I have purchased some iTunes songs for that library). I access one or the other by pressing Shift, etc. No problem.
Both my son and I listen to classical music, and I wanted to share this library with him by moving my classical iTunes Library to his computer. (I copied the entire folder structure from my PC to his, nearly 50 GB worth). So he now has 2 libraries on his computer. One (the classical library) and his own iTunes library.
He can access the classical library (hold down shift key, etc.), but gets a message to "AUTHORIZE THE FILE SOURCE" before listening to the music. So my questions:
++ Why does he need to authorize music from non-iTunes source? I'm not trying to illegally give him anything from iTunes. My family owns this classical CD collection.
++ If he does need to authorize the FILE SOURCE, I suppose he would use MY iTUNES account information to do so. Is this correct? Or should he use HIS account information?
++ And if he does use my account info, _will he retain his iTunes account setting for his other iTunes Library_? I.e., He would have a classical music library that's authorized by me (I guess my second computer?), and his regular library with his account information?
This sounds more complicated than it is (maybe it IS more complicated than I think (sic).
Any help greatly appreciated.

I could be wrong, but if that's the exact message he's getting, it sounds more like a file permssions error in Windows rather than the typical iTunes authorization message which brings up an obvious request for an iTunes Store ID and password. I'd suggest he look at the Windows permissions for the folder and it's contents and see if perhaps he doesn't have the correct permissions to access that material.

No authorization meesage while creating Integration Sceanrio

I have created one Integration Scenario. In that I tried to assign interfaces and interface mapping to the Connection, After that, when i press Apply button, it gets hanged. After that I m not able ot do anything.
When i try to cancel it, I get a PopUp for Save, Dont save , cancel. Whatever option I choose, it gives No Authorization message.
After that, I m not able to open even other objects also.Getting NO Authorization message. Could some one tell me what is the problem?

Unfortunately your Java Instance opened with Web Start i.e Integration Buidler have disconneted from XI server. once it get disconnected you need to re-open the window.
Press CtrlAltDel --> Goto Task Manager and close the Java Instance.
Then open Integration Buidler again and now thsi time your obejcts are locked so
On main page of XI http://<host>:<port>/rep/start/index.jsp
at right side you will find Administration link, open it and unlock the locked object then you can able to acess the previous objects
