It should be able to sync your standard calendar types (Google, Exchange, Yahoo, Facebook, etc.) automatically as they change, or on a schedule, depending on the app.

I use tripit on both my iphone and ipad. However, while tripit will sync with the gmail calendar on my iphone, it will not sync with the gmail calendar on my ipad, even though the setting are all in place, correctly for both.

I use the "Tripit" travel app on both my iPhone and iPad2. While I have no problem getting my Tripit info synced to the Gmail Calendar on my iPhone, I am unable to get Tripit to sync to the Gmail calendar on my iPad, even though the setup information (email address, settings, etc.) are exactly the same. I know that Tripit is installed correctly on the iPad, as I am able to go to that app directly and correctly see all of my info. However, even though I've set up the secondary "Tripit" calendar feed (to Gamil) on the iPad, it's not synchronizing and showing up. Is anyone else having this problem?

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

PES 2012 is no longer available in the US App Store and only on the British App Store currently.

That (an app no longer available) happens sometimes.
Your only way is if you have the appt on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case move it to your iTunes library and sync.

Disable or remoce the Calendar, that is creating these events, Terry.
To find out, which calendar is creating these events, ctrl-click on one of the events and select "Get Info".
In the Info panel click the color icon in the upper right corner to find out the calendar, that created this event.
Then reveal the "Calendars" Sidebar (press the "Calendars" button in the toolbar) and select the Calendar, ctrl-click it and delete the calendar or disable it.

Does Roaming data syncs for the first time when app data are in download and installation process?

Hi,
I will store user Id in "HighPriority" Roaming data. When user will install app in another computer (with the same Microsoft Account), app will get user Id from Roaming data. Then I can implement all data sync over my cloud service.
There are 2 scenarios:
1. User downloads and installs app in another computer, but roaming data syncs/downloads for the first time only after several minutes -
It's bad for my app :(
2. User downloads and installs app in another computer and roaming data syncs/downloads at the same time (then I can get user Id immediately)
- Its great for my app :)
Which scenario is real in practice?

Umm no not that i remember. It just randomly started happening. I reformatted the hard drive for mac (journaled) but it was working fine since i did it until now

Iphone is syncing with the wrong calendar in Outlook 2010

In Outlook, I have two calendars for the main account. There is only one profile, so this is not a profile issue. I am not sure how, but I have two calendars set up.
When I am in outlook and take an email, and select to make an appointment from that email, Outlook sets up the appointment in a calendar (For this purpose, I will call it calendar #1)
When I sync my iPhone, it will sync with the other calendar (calendar #2)
I tried to delete the calendar #1 and the option was greyed out. It will let me delete Calendar #2, but I am wary of doing this, as I don't want to lose all my calendar items.
Suggestions?

OK, so I deleted the calendar, and nothing changed. Then I unchecked the box to sync calendars, in iTunes.
I sync'd, then checked the box again in iTunes to sync calendars, and then specifically checked the "selected calendars" and selected Calendar.
Voila, it worked. I tested the input and syncing both ways and whether I input an item in the iPhone or Outlook, it does show up in the other.
So I solved it myself, but decided to post this so others would have access to this.

So, for example, if she makes plans with friends (and updates her iPhone Calendar accordingly) I also want the appointment to be entered into the Calendar of my iPhone when I next sync it. I sync using mobile me - over the air, my wife syncs via itunes, we keep several calendars in ical.

How do I pay for the apps I've bought? Please help me

Yesterday I bought Grand Theft Auto San Andreas with my virtual credit card (which I can only use to pay things online).
Anyways, no money is still gone from my account. I got the game and it works, but it shows I paid only 1€ to Apple... So how do I find out if I have paid for the app?

I can only quote from experience. I always receive an email receipt which comes through my normal Mail service which is also the mail address registered with Apple. Unless you have some oddball mail system, your receipt should arrive no differently.

Will apps still get updated automatically if I turn off push notifications for the App store?

I like that my apps currently get updated automatically, but I don't really want to see it. If I turn off all alerts/notifications for it, in Settings > Notification Center, will the automatic updates still happen?

To answer the question: Yes, the App Store will continue auto-updating all apps, even if you turn off all notifications/alerts for the App Store, and move it down to the "DO NOT INCLUDE" section in Settings > Notification Center

Hi; I recently got a new I-Phone (4), and it was set up at the store where I purchased it. Here is the problem; my phone has a different apple ID then the one I use on-line for the app store or my apple account. I went into I-tunes, did an update and downloaded the newest Op. system.(Backed up to I-cloud first). The apple ID in my phone didn't change. I just received an email receipt from Paypal showing a $12.99 purchase from iTunes. I almost NEVER purchase anything over around five dollars in the app or music store. Since PayPal does not show what this purchase was for, I have not received the receipt from Apple yet, and I cannot find anyway to look up online what this purchase was for....I need help to find out ASAP what this purchase was. If my account has been compromised or if I have been incorrectly charged for something, I would like to get the issue handled immediately. I do not want to install iTunes on my PC (nor should I have to for Pete's sake), but I cannot see anything recent at all in my app or music history on my iPad (not that I would ever purchase anything for $12.99 anyway...I just don't). I had this same problem, and it was erased.
For some really odd reason iPads sometimes retain the last user iTunes account on first visit to the iTunes store.
I am thinking it is actually the iTunes store recognising the iPad, and so 'helping' by showing the last log in settings.
So I would also recommend Erase All Content and Settings to start.
If that was done then what you need to do is log in, or create your own itunes account.
This is in Settings, Store.
create your own iTunes account (or log in with an old one).
Purchase something.
Then (as long as you don't have any app from the last owner on) it should never ask for the old account again.

This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck the other phone's phone number, if present.

My mum set up an iCloud account and forgot the password, and this caused me to create a new account. The new account works for the App Store and all that, but I can't change the initial iCloud account without the password. Help?

My device keeps prompting me for the password every few minutes after updating to iOS 8, and I've tried every option possible to retrieve the password, but I don't even know the answers to the security questions and I can't find the password reset email anywhere and I don't know the back up emails my mum used. I literally cannot find any legitimate way to sign out of the initial iCloud account without entering a password (which neither I nor my parents know). Is there a way for me to retreive the password or change to my new account without the password?
