No Available ACROBAT 9 for MAC OS

Hi,
We would like to know if why we doesn't have any Acrobat 9 for MAC? How come ADOBE have an ACROBAT 9 PRO for MAC but not with Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Reader for MAC OS 10.6? Why do customers need to upgrade to Acrobat 9 Pro MAC if they currently own a previous version of Acrobat 9 Standard? And why not to upgrade to Acrobat 9 Standard?
Why Windows customers can upgrade to Acrobat Standard 9 and why MAC customers can't?
Please enligthen our thoughts..

Adobe has never offered Acrobat Standard for Mac.
A lot of what is offered by Standard is already available with the Mac OS so why spend time, money and effort to develop a product that no one needs?

Expandable text fields in acrobat for mac?

I need to design a interactive form (on a mac) that has interactive text fields that are dynamic, expandable and flow. Basically, I have static questions that have to be answered, and depending on the amount of copy that the user puts in, the copy will flow down.
Im fairly familiar with the workings of interactivity, but i have done some searches for this feature in acrobat pro for mac, and I am not coming up with anything. Is there some coding I could add, or some way of doing this on mac base?
Does Acrobat X for mac allow this functionality?
I really need to get this done, and pretty disappointed that such simple functionality is not included in acrobat for mac. Or is it, and Im jut missing it? Is there a runaround way I could do this?

Well, like other Companies rather than than creating one master code That just needs to change for differences in the look and Feel.
Because The Mac Market is not as Large as PC, they don't put as many features in the Mac Version. That's the way its always been. They think we will put up with shortcomings. And and the sad fact is we do. Just to have any Software. Office2011 comes about as close to Parity as any software out there. It now has Outlook and uses the same Macro Engine as the PC version. However, it still has features missing that in the PC version. And some of the Macro commands that work on PC won't work on Mac (ActiveX Controls for one).
Its just the cards we are dealt. Until the Mac Market becomes equal Parity with The PC Market Then we will have the power to have decent software.

How to load Epson paper profiles in Acrobat for Mac?

Hi,
I'm currently testing different Epson papers to find the best type of my needs (Architectura drawings). I have downloaded the profiles from Epsons website (ICC Profiles) but when I open the print dialogue in Acrobat 8 for Mac, the profiles are not there, although there is some Epson profiles.
The link shows the settings and profiles (I can't seem to upload an image). The profiles are in 'coloursync' but Adobe doesn't see it.
I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.3

I found it. I went into the Print dialog and under 'Color matching' I chose 'Colorsync' (instead of Epson colorcontrols) which brings up a list of all the epson profiles that I have made or have downloaded.

Certificate Error when downloading Acrobat for Mac

I am trying to install the trial version of Adobe Acrobat for my Mac (OS X 10.9.5), and I keep getting this error. I was originally getting a different message, but I have since uninstallated Adobe Air and reinstalled. I deleted all downloads, emptied the trash, restarted my computer and tried to download Acrobat again, but this is still showing as an issue. I have gone through numerous forums for help, but so far nothing has worked.
Any more thoughts on this would be more than welcome!

Cannot update Adobe Acrobat for Mac from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01

Hi all. I cannot update my Adobe Acrobat from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01. There's been some error during the installation of the update. I have tried uninstall and reinstall for several times but didn't help. The error log is as follows:

Bill@VT has the correct troubleshooting procedure though. Download the update and try updating locally rather than through the ARM updater.

Download Acrobat for Mac AND Windows

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro ver XI online. Web site said purchase price entitles purchaser to install on 2 separate computers. After making purchase, when I went to download software, I noted that order says I bought the full Windows version. I was never asked whether I wanted Windows or Mac versions, I suspect it detected the machine I was using. I need product for two computers, one is Windows based, the other is a Mac. How do I download and install product to both computers? And if I cannot, I prefer to download to my Mac, how do I switch what I purchased. I have not yet downloaded anything at all. There are multiple questions here:
1) Does Acrobat Mac run on the iPad - No, but we do have a Reader that does work and allows you to view PDF's, fill in forms, add annotations and signatures.
2) Is there anything "Safe" that runs flas on the iPad? There is no solution for running Adobe Flash on the iPad.

Arabic localization for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Arabic localization was provided by "Arab Business Machine Ltd. VAD Middle-East". However latest version available is for Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard, as you know that's an old version of Leopard and there is no Snow Leopard localization until now.

Since Arab Business Machine Ltd is busy, I figure that the only solution is to do the localization yourself. So is there any tool we can use to create a "localization profile"?

Semi offtopic: iLife Arabic localization is only available for outdated iLife 08 and iWork 08 software as well. Arabic manuals are for late 2008 macbooks, 2007 iMacs.. but I just mentioned them because they were on the same page.

Is Acrobat X available for Mac?

We (my company) just upgraded to CS5, and I noticed it came with Pro 9. Is Acrobat X Pro available for Mac? I tried to download a Trial version and it directs me to a Windows download. I can not find a Mac download.
Any Ideas?

It is available for Mac yes but at this point, it hasn't been included in the suite. Normally the new Acrobat is included with a .5 release of the suite.
Unfortunately, they don't have trials for Mac either.
