No "Back to Forum" Link

There used to be a "Back to Forum" link, or something similar, when viewing a discussion. It has now disappeared. Where is it and how can I get it back? Is anyone else having this problem? It made things just a little bit easier.

There is a Back To Topic list just above the first post, and there is Apple.com>Support>Using Apple Discussions>Feedback about Discussions which is just below the bold *Apple Discussions* header. These are the only things I ever remember seeing and they are still there for me, at least.
At the bottom of the page there should be  Support Discussions.

Forum Link hard to find

With the new format if you want to find another forum you have to click the red Adobe icon (in itself not obvious). Then after some searching you find Forum link in one of the topics of Learning.
Users have a hard enough time replying to correct Forum, lets not make it that difficult to find the Forum Link.
Recommend going back to the old style where there was a black FORUMS on the main page.

Thanks for the feedback. RIght now the quickest route to the top level is the Adobe Forums link in the breadcrumb trail. I'll bring this up with the designers.

This can also be a problem with the files [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo App Tabs and Tab Groups after deleting sessionstore.js.

Back-to-Top Link in BW Report in Portal

Hi,
I'm trying to determine the best way to insert a back-to-top link in a BW Report. The Reports are displayed in the Portal as an iView or External Service depending on other factors.
Portal is EP5 SP5, BW 3.0B and using the Web Application Designer to create the Portal Report.
Would like a link at the bottom of the report which takes the user back to the top. Similar to what is seen on most pages. Using simple Bookmark and link does not seem to work.

Another question. How do you bookmark something. It was so easy before, why did they change it? Can I uninstall it?

Is there a way to make a button so someone entering information in a fillable form can go back to the link that sent them to a new location in another form or the same form?

The issue that you have reported is not a bug, but a strandard. Once the
application is integrated to the Portal, the navigation between screens/
transaction is handled differently and should not be compared to ITS.
In EP, you will have to use the Portal's 'Back' button to navigate back.
Please refer to note # 933450 as the correction is the same for this
issue also.
The link has been removed because navigation in EP is handled
differently as compared to ITS. In EP you use the EP's navigation and
not ITS links like ('Back to Sourcing') or ('Return to Change Version')

Specific Forum Link in subject area

Hi, I thought I used to be able to go directly from the BW subject area to the BW forum via a link on the right hand side. Why did we remove that? It was soooo handy.
I could get my BW fix/updates and then go visit the forum...

Indeed, the forum threads were missing from BW, and also from many other areas, but only for a short time.
However, as an editor for SDN, I must inform you that the identity of the perpetrator was no deus ex machina, but some kind of ghost in the machine that upset our template when we added functionality. Just one of those mysterious things.
You will wake up to find the forum links alive and well.

'success.gif' and 'Back to form' Link.

Hi there,
we created a form which calls a stored procedure on submission. The procedure
does a few selects and displays the results in a colored table, similar to the
Oracle eMail Server Calendar, as HTML-page using the htp.* tags. The problem
now is that at the very bottom of the page there is always the success icon and
'Back to form' link visible. How can we get rid of this behaviour?

Sun forums migration: sun forum links returned with google searches

Old forums.sun.com posts returned in google searches don't dump you into the thread anymore. Instead you get the forums.oracle.com home page. I was able to find the actual thread by using Google's cache to get the title of the post, then searching for it within the forums. However I figure once the google cache is refreshed, that won't work anymore.
Any idea on workarounds, or will the old sun forums threads ever properly point to forums.oracle.com? I understand that the info has been migrated, but it still needs to be searchable/findable.

Ok, I just talked to our technical person, and the reason that threads do not redirecting is because (...) So anytime you need to fins something specific in a thread, you will need to do a search.Has the migration team considered adding an automatically generated post such as "this topic was migrated from the Sun forums, topicid=xyz"?
At least this suggestion would enable to search the lost topic by its ID!
The problem with manual searching is that often we have not much more info about the topic than the id in the link.
The Google cache is just a temporary epipehnomenon, at some point such search results will not be returned. But there remains a lot of (now dangling) pointers to Sun forum topics everywhere across the Internet.
You wouldn't have to search very far: in the very content that was migrated from Sun forums to OTN forums, there are tons of intra-forum links ("This question is answered in [url http://nowLostInAether]this topic", or "Please consider the shortcomings of thsi approach as described in [url http://nowLostInAether]that thread"). There is no clue as to which keyword search coold lead to the lost target, and even if it were returned by an educated guess search, there would be no way to make sure it's the correct target ("Please sure to use [url http://nowLostInAether]this apporach, because [url http://nowLoastInSPace.com]that other approach is completely flawed!").

Back to portal link broken

I have a problem with my back to portal link from workspaces. It is putting the address stored in OID under context cn=ReturnToPortalURL,labeleduri

I don't understand where this is coming from or how to solve it
independendly both links work. Why is it concatenating them and what is telling it to do it? all other back to portal links work on the system

F.Y.I Created a tar the resolution was to hard code the link in ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/oc4j_ocsclient/applications/workspaces/workspaces/cwhome.uit and workspacehome.uit.
Never got an explanation as to why it doubled up the link in the first place.

Back to Discussion Link at bottom of thread page.

At the bottom of a thread page there's a link to reply to original post or go to original post. I would like to see a back to discussion option. On loads of forums you have a jump to board selection as well. I don't really find Adobe Forums particularly easy to navigate around generally.

Quickie: Provide a 'back to package' link after commenting on AUR

Currently when you comment or delete your comment on an AUR package, you have to make use of your browsers 'back' function and even then you need to refresh to see the comment you posted/deleted. I think that for the sake of usability and consistency with the forums (where you get redirected to your new post after posting) you should be presented with a link and a 3-second time out for auto-redirect to the AUR package you commented on.
So, yeah, would be nice and shouldn't take long to do

I prefer discussing this first before submitting it onto the bug tracker. Maybe most people don't share my opinion so I don't have to bother. It's called "AUR Discussion and..." for a reason.

Trouble with Z10 backing up using link

I have never been able to back up my Z10 using Link. I've just updated the software to the latest version of link and it still gets to about 2% (which is more than it's ever been able to do before) and then fails.
Media synchronisation seems to work fine, it just won't backup.
I have president's choice recipe box app, but it wouldn't back up before this either.

I would suggest trying a backup without including the application data. Follow these steps:
In BlackBerry Link click on the BlackBerry at the bottom and click on Settings at the top. Put a checkmark for select data to include in your backup files and add checkmarks to all except Application data. Then click on Back up now.
