No back to updates button on purchases?

Okay, could someone help me i was at updates then i pressed purchases and then i cant get back on the updates!
Im stuck on the purchases place where u see ur apps that u downloaded along time ago. Please someone help me
i dont wanna be stuck on this purchases place! (I got a iTouch 4G)

The exact same thing is happening with mine I have tried exiting the app, turning Internet off and I have reset my iPod (holding down the off and home button for 30 seconds) all of witch haven't worked.

I have FireFox 4.0 it comes up and says that it needs to be updated, when I click the (NEXT) button & it does the contacting server/downloading the update. I click the apply update button & the fire fox window closes & the status bar come up with the installing the updates & will restart firefox in a moment. However once the window restarts, the notice that firefox needs to be updated come back. When I click the (next) button to download the update, the cycle begins.
I clicked the HELP link at the top of the window & then the ABOUT FIREFOX to see if there might be multiple updates, but it's the same one each time "modzilla firefox yahoo edition yahoo 1.8"
I love fire fox & until now have never had a problem when it comes to installing the updates.

Well I went to the Tools/options/and general section & clicked on the restore default for the home page. However I am still having the same issue.

What iOS version are you on ? If 5+ then as I said, you can do it directly on the iPad via Settings > General > Software Update.
If you are on iOS 4 then you will need to connect to your computer's iTunes and transfer purchases and do a backup - updating to iOS 5+ from 4 or below will backup up the iPad, wipe the iPad, install iOS 5.1, and restore your backup and iTunes media content (if you don't transfer purchases and backup then that content will no longer be on the iPad after the update). ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

What happened to the 'more' button on the bottom of the apps store? It seems to have been replaced by the 'updates' button. I want to get the 'more' button back.

When using the back button I keep getting the drop down box when I do not want it. For me the hold down time before the box opens is far too short.
I would be quite happy to always right click to get the drop down. Is there any way to disable this feature when using the left button or for making the delay longer?

Cannot connect to I tunes store while trying to do updates or to purchase

Try starting all over again by quitting the App Store, iBooks or iTunes and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that does not work try signing out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and then sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in. See if that helps.

Can't connect to the iTunes store

Can't download updates and previous purchases

App store is not downloading updates or previous purchases (from another computer). Clicking the Update or Install button, just changes the button to light grey for a couple of seconds, then goes back to normal dark grey, but nothing downloads.
Any suggestions?

To give a little more detail:
I recently purchased two applications, Transmit and Keynote. They downloaded and installed just fine on my iMac. I then tried to install them on my MacBook Pro (recently bought new) and nothing happens when I click the install button next to the entries under Purchases.
I have probably 10 other apps that installed just fine. I can even install any of them right now and it downloads and installs just fine. Only Transmit and Keynote (my latest purchases) it doesn't work. I can also "buy" and install new software and it works.
If I log out and back in to my Apple ID account, it'll ask me for my password like it normally does to install software, but then again does nothing -- the button just flips back to "Install" after a second.
There is no error message at all, although yesterday the very first time I tried to install the software there was some kind of server error. I tried quitting and restarting Mac App Store.
I tried rebooting. I checked my Applications folder for Transmit.app or Keynote.app just in case there was something half downloaded or a trial version that could conflict -- nothing.
I ran Software Update and everything was fully up to date. I also ran the combo 10.6.7 update.
I tried deleting the appstore and storeagent files in ~/Library/Caches, ~/Library/Cookies and ~/Library/Preferences
None of this has had any effect.
I have contacted Apple Support. Hopefully they will have some advice to offer.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, as you have iOS 4 you can only update to iOS 7 (that is the only version that you can update to) via your computer's iTunes, as described half-way down the page that you posted from. You will need the current version of iTunes on your computer : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad via File > Devices > Back Up
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

Yes, and, I try to restore. I have the T-Mobile sim card in it just to clarify. It will not let me get passed that, it does not accept the t-mobile sim card. i tried restoring it using wifi, cellular, and i cant get i tunes. I am scared that if i take the tmobile sim card out and put the at&t one in just to complete the restoration process that the iphone will lock again and not read the tmobile sim card, then all my hard work has gone for nothing. You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....

If I open another URL from my homepage, the "go back one page" button is grayed out so I can't get back to my home page.

This problem only started recently.
Opening another web page (URL) from my homepage always opens in the same tab and the "go back one page" button is gray and does not work. If I open a series of web pages in the same tab the green "back" button is green. Clicking on the "recent pages" down arrow will allow me to go back, but only to the page after the home page.
In other words, after browsing, I can get back to the opening page (my home page) only by clicking on the house icon but not by using the "recent pages" function.
Is there an option that changed after the last update?

Do you see any tab history if you right click the Back or Forward button?

Several months ago I kept getting prompted to "update" my iphoto library. I finally gave in and clicked on the update button and EVER SINCE THEN, ALL of my photos have been 'grayed out' and I can't see ANY of them unless I click on the photo and open it

Now ALL of my photos are grayed out and I can't see ANY of my pictures unless I click on each grayed out photo individually and open them, ALL of the thumbnails are greyed out. It is THE WORST!! In the upper part of Firefox there is normally a box to type in URL's. I have lost that box/area. Along with that I have no back of forward buttons to view the last/next internet pages. Can you help?

I have a 4th gen. Itouch wiht IOS4 and i want to update it, but when i click the update button in ITunes it says "contacting IPod software server" and it looks like it is loading. However, after about 5 seconds it stops and says "ITunes could not connect to the IPod software server". I found the apple webpage that is supposed to help me, but when i went to the LAN settings in the control panel i found that 'Automatically detect settings" was already checked. I do not know what to do, Please help.

If yo mean the iPod will not connect to your wifi network:
Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Do other devices now connect?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
