No basic contact sync using outlook2003 and E61 wi...

Hi,
I experience sunc trouble while creating contact on my phone.
I create very simple contact with firstname, lastname, company name, phone, mobile and e-mail adress.
When synching with OL 2003 SP2, I only get firstname, lastname and company name, no phone or e-mail adress...
How can it happens since it is so basic ... What can I do without phone and e-mail in outloOK2003? Answer : nothing !
Version is mast today downloaded, and version is french.
Any good idea needed !

Outlook contacts database and your phone's phonebook are fundamentally different, some of the fields in one contact are the same (like first name, last name), but nearly everything else is different (the field names are different).
Try to do so that you create a typical contact IN Outlook (first name, last name, telephone number etc. Only use fields in Outlook that are available there by default, do not try to create your own custom fields, it gets too tricky then)
Then syncronise the contact to your phone and see what fields are filled in phone side.
Then use those fields when you add contacts to phone is the future so that you ensure the syncronisation to Outlook.
