No Batch menu in Bridge (Photoshop CS6)
I've installed and reinstalled Photoshop CS6 and but continue to have no Photoshop/Batch menu in Bridge as I did in CS5.
Windows 7. CS6 is an upgrade. I've been living with it as I see a lot of others have the same problem with no answer that I can find.
Is there a solution???

I'm having the reverse problem. CS6 Bridge sees all the stuff under Tools/photoshop:
But CS5 Bridge does not. So looking into it a bit I see the scripts directory here:
c:/Users/harry/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Bridge CS5\Startup Scripts
Is empty.
Preferences/Startup Scripts shows:
[X] Adobe After effects CS5
[X] Adobe Bridge CS5
[X] Adobe Device Central CS5
[X] Adobe Output Module
And there appears to be no way (In that dialog screen) to add any

There is nothing under the directory:
c:/Users/harry/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Bridge CS6\Startup Scripts\
and yet CS6 apparently sees scripts somewhere since it has a fair number of entries at Tools/photoshop, including the Batch image processor.
At at Preferences/Startup Scripts there is an extensive list of scripts listed.
Is there a way to make CS5 bridge See the scirpts for Photoshop CS6? Or at least to send a selected bunch of files to PS CS6 Image processor?

Personally I never used that icon but there are other item from the application bar that I do miss deeply (arrange documents icons especially)
It is my understanding that they decided to dump this feature to preserve screen real estate especially on small screens for lap tops. And yes, Adobe decides what is best, they produce this application and therefor have the right to do it. You might or might not agree but expressing this on the user to user forum does not help to bring it back in anyway, you have to put in a Feature Request (find the link on the main Forum page) to address it to Adobe directly.
And the problem is that their are many users with different workflows and wishes. I also hated some changes first but discovered that a lot of them needed a bit more usage and after a while the changes for me often seemed to improve my workflow.
It is just very hard (if not impossible) to keep everyone satisfied and what other people almost never use or seems ridicule to even exists you might see as crucial for you workflow and vice versa.
However there seem to be at least two ways but often more to gain the same result in PS, it just needs a bit of time and learning :-0
Changes are needed, not only for keeping the business running but also to keep up with the increasing demands of both users and computers. It seems just yesterday that I used PS 3 on a Mac with a 500 MB HD and buying 16 MB RAM needed a small fortune as well as the costs for a 128 MB CF card.
Today I use 4 disks of 2 TB in one Mac with 16 GB RAM and 32 GB CF cards that only costs a fraction of that small fortune mentioned above and with PS CS 6 I have tons of more options to enhance my files with a speed that is measured in lightyears compared to 15 years ago.... -
How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

No Analysis Menu showing in Photoshop CS6 Extended
Hi all,
The 3D menu is there but not the Analysis menu. I'm trying to set the scale measurement; i have the scale icon and it works, but i need to go into the Analysis menu to set the scale - and it's not there! Can't find it, or any reference to this (only to the 3D menu being missing, which is usually they don't have Extended).
Running Windows 7 pro on a Radeon HD6850 graphics card, i have "use graphics processor" selected in the preferences menu. Any help gratefully received!

3D Menu not displayed Photoshop CS6 Extended
Hi all,
I have just installed Photoshop CS6 Extended from adobe.com as the trial, but after installing it I don't see the 3D menu at the top.
I have tried reinstalling several times but still no 3D menu.
I have a ASUS GTX550Ti graphics card with 1gb of ram so I thought this would be sufficiunt.
Also running windows 7 64bit.
Any help appreciated.

PaulPeople report this from time to time. Adobe's response has been along the lines of "of course the trial will show you the 3D menu", ignoring the fact that a user is reporting that it doesn't.
Did you get the Photoshop trial software directly from Adobe.com?
It's not a problem with your hardware being insufficient, because if the GPU or OS/driver weren't up to the task the 3D menu would be there, just grayed-out. That you're not seeing it says that the installer has done something wrong and has set up the trial to run as the Standard edition somehow.
Unfortunately, no one has reported a sure way to make the Extended features show up in the trial so far, since mostly the problem has been dodged, but here's what I'd suggest.
Uninstall the trial, then run the Adobe Create Suite Cleaner Tool, then try a reinstall.

Problème pour accéder au menu 3D dans Photoshop CS6
bonjour, je viens de télécharger la mise à jour de Photoshop CS5 par la CS6 et dans le menu je ne peux pas accéder au menu 3D. Je pense que ce doit être à cause du fait qu'il soit en 64 bits, comment faire pour changer en 32 bits ? merci

La première chose est de vérifier si votre carte grahique a minimum 512Mb de mémoire.
Vous pouvez faire un CMD+I sur Photoshop ,vous aurez le moyen de démarrer en 32bits mais cette option a disparu sur les derniers MAC OS .

Menu bar has no 3D menu in my photoshop cs6 BETA? /(win 7)

Graphic Card : 1024 MB (ATI) Dedicated , 1271 MB shared memo, 2295 MB Total graphics memory.There's a good chance you need to update your graphics card drivers. Check out ATI's website for the latest drivers.

Bridge CS6 (Windows 7) Photoshop/Batch menu missing.
I've installed CS6 (CS5 is still on the machine), and in the Bridge Menu, there is no longer a Batch menu item for initiating actions.
In Bridge's Edit/Preference command, I have the Startup Scripts checked. There are no files in the "Startup Scripts" folder.
I don't see a "Startup Scripts" folder in CS5, only in CS6.
I can still do batch operations directly from Photoshop CS6's automate window, however, I like the ability in Bridge to select specific files on which to run the action.
Any help appreciated.

How does the image time stamp display /modification vary among Bridge, Photoshop, and PS Element Org
I've noticed some discrepancies between times recorded in my image EXIF data as well as the time displayed with images in Bridge and Photoshop Elements Organizer. For instance I may have a series of images shot within a few minutes of each other. After having done some manipulation of a subset of the images and later on showing the sequence in both Bridge and PSE Organizer, I have noticed that the time associated with some of the images has changed. Bridge and PSE Organizer may actually show times that differ by several hours. It almost looks like the time is converted from the original camera time to UTC and then possibly back to the time zone where my computer is located. The pattern is not completely consistent and may depend on what Adobe products have been used to adjust or catalog the images. I'm looking for a good and complete description of how each product handles the image date and time stamp. I suspect that there is some inconsistency in how this is done across the products. I'm currently using Bridge / Photoshop CS6 Extended and Photoshop Elements Organizer 10.0 which were recently upgraded from CS 5 and 8.0 respectively. I also use Adobe Camera Raw 7.1 to edit the Nikon raw files. This problem appears to predate the upgrade of my products.
Well, it must be a system-specific bug of some sort that's been introduced, because I was able to create a 4200 x 3500 image made by mapping an image of similar size to a cylinder, and the cylinder would move/rotate in real time. Of course, I have a completely different video card and system than you do, but I'm just verifying that it's not broken everywhere.
Rendering isn't hugely fast, but that's not unexpected with a larger image.
Maybe being more specific would help. Is your mesh complex?
Is it something you'd be willing to share online or describe how to create? I would be happy to try to match what you're doing more thoroughly to see whether I can reproduce the slowdowns.
Beyond that, I'm not sure what to suggest... You don't have a lot of RAM to be working on 15 megapixel images, but as you say the thing to concentrate on is that you're seeing quite different performance from the Ps CS6 beta version.

Bridge CS6 Photoshop Batch tool to open Photoshop CC
I have both CS6 and CC installed
I'm having the issue in Bridge CS6 that when I want to do a batch function through Tool > Photoshop > Batch this opens Photoshop CS6 and not Photoshop CC which i'd prefer it open. Is there any way to set this.
The question of me will be why I don't use Bridge CC. Unfortunately I am locked into having to use InDesign CS6 for my work and use a shortcut to reveal images in Bridge (which will only reveal on Bridge CS6), hence why I'm then forced to use Bridge 6 over Bridge CC....
So I suppose if I worked out the indesign issue i twould be ok, but I have a feeling i'll have more luck with a solution for Bridge opening a version of photoshop than solving the indesign issue.

How do I start the script for Photoshop CS6 in Bridge CS6 image processor ?
I am new to Bridge and I am lookiing for a way to batch process images. I opened 'preferences' and did not find Photoshop CS6 under the script list. How do I open and run the image processor? Thanks for any help!!
I have clicked on 'tools' within Bridge but there is no 'Photoshop' in the drop-down menu.
Misread your post a bit and see you want the image processor, however, this should be in the same location as the Batch option. If you don't have Photoshop in that list it means the start up script is not active or not installed properly.
First check Bridge preferences / Start up scripts and see if Photoshop is listed inhere and has a checkmark in front. If no checkmark then set it to on, restart Bridge and try again. If no Start upScript at all first try restart Bridge holding down option key (Mac) or ctrl (Win) and choose reset preferences.
If still no luck try a reinstall of PSCS6 to also reinstall Bridge again. (you first have to uninstall PSCS6, be sure to have a back up of custom settings etc).
