No Blogs on MySpace App?

Just curious here, perhaps I'm missing something. The MySpace App is a pretty good one, and quite utilitarian. But one of the things I like about the full internet version is that I get notification of, and can go to, blogs that I've subscribed to. Can't seem to get there from the app.
Any hints, suggestions, direction, or advice? Much appreciated!!

Myspace app not loading?

Ok so about 2 days ago my myspace app stopped working? Like it says it's loading but it never actually loads the page... I know it isn't the internet because my browser works fine... Any advice?

Go to Solution.

Two options :
1. Keep the device switched on, not plugged into anything and pull the battery straight out - WITHOUT TURNING IT OFF-
2. If above doesnt work, go to options >advanced > applications and uninstall it. Then go the blackberry home page and re-download it again.
If your issue is resolved, put a checkmark in the green box that contains the resolution.

App Install error with iTunes 7.7 (Facebook and MySpace Apps)

Whenever I try to sync either the Facebook or MySpace apps from the App Store, I receive the following error:
The application "Facebook" was not installed on the iPhone "Ray's iPhone" because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000013).
and
The application "MySpace" was not installed on the iPhone "Ray's iPhone" because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000013).
I've tried deleting and redownloading the apps multiple times. Anyone else had this problem or gotten around it?

I downloaded a few free apps also and it didn't take. When I tried downloading it again it said that it's already downloaded and I have to sync the phone up with iTunes and click Store -> Check for purchases.
Well I did that, but the Store is still down so it didn't sync it with the phone. I'll keep trying.

Blackberry 8130 MYSPACE APP never works

the myspace app just says password and email combination is incorrect. even when i try to hit search for updates it doesnt do anything except says it cannot search for update. it never even shows data tries to push through. it says myspace app should work without bis and at 1 time i had it working but when i connected bbdm to bb it automaticaly erased the only myspace app that ever worked on my phone. when i go back to the original download site it only downloads the new myspace app 2.something and it must require bis? how can i find or get myspace to work without bis ? facebook works

MySpace App wont download my full profile??

Hey whats up guys, just updated the new software for my BB RIM and updated my Myspace app aswell but now when i go onto it and check out my profile it wont fully download the whole profile ex)send messages, view photos, add friends, etc...i deleted it and kept redownloading it and it keeps doing the same. Should i clean up the phone or what? i already did a memory cleanup and i guess it didn't help...

The system requires that you use the store for the country in which you reside. Living in South Africa you should not have been using the US store.
When you buy apps you need to buy them from the store for the country in which you reside. You need to provide a payment method from the country where you reside. If you intend to use a bank card it must be from a bank in the country where you reside with a verifiable billing address in the country where you reside.
Since you admit that you have been flouting these requirements, it has now caught up with you. You will need to stop flouting the system and follow the rules for using the iTunes stores to continue further with purchases.

Myspace App Error

I am have Curve 8330 with Alltel. This issue just started happening out of nowhere. When I go to the Myspace App I get this error "There was an error communicating with Myspace". I am still able to update my status & mood however nothing else works. Every other screen just continuously says "loading". And my friends statuses on the home page says "loading" also. However I can check for updates successfully.
I'm wondering if there is an issue with my myspace account because when I log in under someone elses name I don't have this issue. But I still can't figure out whats causing this. I unregistered my email address with my phone to see if that had something to do with it but I still had the issue...
I've tried the following:
1. Uninstalling & Reinstalling the App. However when I reinstall somehow i'm automatically logged back in. It doesn't clear the previous memory of the Myspace App. How could I fix this?
2. Resending the Service Books. However the Myspace service book doesn't appear in the list of service books.
3. Battery Pull
4. Logging in under someone elses name. Everything works fine for them. It gives me this message "To Receive Myspace notifications, your Myspace login email address must be associated with your Blackberry device." I click continue & everything loads fine.
5. Wiping clean & reinstalling 4.5 didnt help.

- Have you tried going to the developer's support website/contacting the developer?
- Try a reset. It surs many ills and nothng is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

MySpace App can't edit?

Are you able to edit your profile? I have not found the option.

as of right now you can only update your "Mood" & "YOURNAME is..." from the MySpace App
you can also upload pictures from your phone to your page...although it seems that you cant choose what picture album it can go in...seems to add to the original album only

Myspace app & saving pix??

While using preloaded Myspace app I came accross a pic I wanted to add to a contact...Like most pix, you can usually long press the pic or next to the pic and select save to SD. Although the Myspace app only displays the name of the pic. Used options and found that pic can be saved as wallpaper, but I wasnt looking forawrd to seeing his face as my background...I can find no option to save to internal or external memory. It can still be accessed in html by viewing full site, but would be much easier to just add from myspace app itself, my other friend has some t-mobile android phone that also has Myspace app, His android is old and has android 1.6 I believe and is able to save pix directly from app. --- Am I missing something or am I stuck having to open full site and save pic from there??? ---

Unfortunately this is gonna be something between the developer of the application and the phone itself. You may need to contact the developer via email to see if there is any option around this. The email should be listed at the bottom of the application when viewing it.

Myspace & app store

I was messing around with the Internet on my iphone 3G and went to Myspace.com. As soon as I got to that page, I had three options: view full page, view mobile version, or download a new version specifically for iPhone. Well of course I chose the latter. It then takes me to a page that says the iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. If I go to the "Apps" icon on the phone, I get the same message. I am accessing this while at home with my phone on my wireless network. I can view other web pages absolutely no problem.
From my PC, I can view the iTunes app store no problem, but there is no mention anywhere of a myspace version for iPhone.
Am I going nuts or is something amiss?

In iTunes, go to the store. Search myspace, and look at the search results under Applications. One of them is "myspace mobile". That's what you're looking for. It's also under "free applications" if you got to the store by clicking on "Get more applications" in iTunes.

is anyone else having problems downloading it. i get the link to down load and then a screen pops up saying "the page you are trying to load could not be found...". can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? thanks in advance

I actually download the app... And its actually a good look. But... i did notice that I cant receive new notifications to my inbox on the blackberry. Facebook give you an alert when you receive something. Any way trying downloading the app from here.... www.blackberry.com/myspace put this in your blackberry browser... should you directly to the ota download screen.

Photo blogging method or App for iPhone?

Is there a simple easy way, or an app, to take a picture with an iPhone, add a few lines of text, and then email or upload to a blog on the web, for either anyone to read of only those you have sent a password to?
Need something that I can just point/shoot/add text/email.

I do reccomend shozu tho, its has multi plugins to the sites used most, flickr, facebook, etc all linked into the app.

How to solve this problem?

You're testing this too early. You haven't yet finished writing code that your current code depends on. Feeddata.cpp won't build, so you can't use the data object that hasn't yet been created.
In particular, feeddata.cpp doesn't build since it has many references to items which get added in later steps.
For example, TextHelper is added in part 5 and App::RemoveFeed is added in part 10.
You'll need to either wait until you've implemented those before you test or comment out the calls to the unimplemented features until they're done. TextHelper looks like it adds quite a bit and you're almost there, but you can probably get away with commenting
out the calls to RemoveFeed and GetTitlesFromUri for now.

Facebook and Myspace apps dont work!!!

i cant get either of these two apps to connect while all others work!
tmobile told me to uninstall then reinstall.......didnt work!
then they told me to reset phone and try.....didnt work!
i have the data plan and like i said all other apps have no problems.
???WHY???

Myspace app for blackberry curve - can't get new messages or anything

i've read all of the posts regarding not receiving new message, comments and friend requests on myspace for blackberry... and none of them work... i'm pretty tech savvy... however, the only time i get my new messages on my blackberry is when i uninstall the application and reinstall it... i do not want to get e-mail notifications everytime i get a comment, etc. however, i would like for it to show on the application... it worked the first day and that was it...
help?
