  • App Store featured and top chart items are blank

When i go to the App Store I can see purchased items, can update current apps and see Genius items but when i go to Featured tab and Top Chart these are both blank?

    Hi friarnige,
I would suggest logging out of the iTunes store on your iPhone, closing all apps, and restarting the iPhone to address this issue.
    Sign Out of App Store
Settings > iTunes & App Stores
    Tap on your Apple ID
    Tap Sign Out
    Close All Apps
iOS: Force an app to close
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the red dot with the minus sign to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.
For more information, see iOS: Understanding multitasking.
    * It's typically unnecessary to force an application to close. You can access all recently used apps by double-clicking the Home button, but these apps are not necessarily open.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please refer to this article for more information:

I hope this information helps ....

my problem is the users already purchased the app should have 1 year validity ,after that i want the user to use "Update Subscription".
Can you explain this a bit more? Users who purchase the app should have a 1 year validity for what? Are you talking about the app purchase or the in-app purchase? Are you talking about future in-app purchases or people who have already purchased your app before you added the in-app purchase feature?
Can i get the Purchase date of the app based on the user from app store.
Yes. When your app completes the in-app purchase, it should forward the receipt to your server, which will verify it with iTunes, and complete the transaction. All the details are here.

  • Some one's email id is displaying on the update menu of the app store what was that

some one's email id is displaying on the update menu of the app store what was that

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    kMDItemAppStoreHasReceipt=1
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, press the key combination command-F to open a search window, or select
    File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
    Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu initially showing Kind. From that menu, select  Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of popup menu. Click in that box and paste (command-V).
The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test.

  • App Store Featured "Your request could not be completed"

My iPad cannot load the 'Featured' tab in the App Store (for the last week Dec 9, 2011). I have an iPad and an iPod Touch (both latest generation with latest iOS). The iPod works perfectly. I have read many posts about "Your request could not be completed" but most of them are old and have problems/solutions that I have ruled out.
I have tried restarting my WiFi, restarting the iPad (even cold boot).
SOLUTION (just fixed it while I was writing this)
I signed out of my US account and signed in to my Australian account. Then it worked. It also worked when I signed back in to my US account.
If you have this problem, all I can suggest is sign out and sign in.

Same here (US). iPad 2 App Store "Featured"... Same error. Happened immediately after I switched between two different accounts (UK account back to a US account) so was initially concerned Apple had done something to prevent country switching but all other pages are fine. Hopefully then, as I'm not alone, this is a server side problem.

  • Why to I have a blue haze on the photos and on the menu bars of apps?  I have Intel iMac running OSX 10.7.5

Why to I have a blue haze on the photos and on the menu bars of apps.  I have Intel iMac running OSX 10.7.5.  This problem just started.  All my photos are corurpted with a blue haze.

Here is another photo with the wierd blue circle in the sky taken with a DSLR.  This did not appear until recently and now I see it on all photos and also when I print the photo.

  • App Store featured button not working

    Using iOS 6.x
In App Store went into Featured > Hidden Apps
It showed my apps not installed on iPad but I can't cancel and get back to where I was
    Any ideas?
    Cheers
    Craig

Along that line of thinking though, this did work:
After Quitting the App Store app, re-launch it and the "Featured" button appears. If you leave it then it changes to the iPad and iPhone options, which is what gets you stuck. So, before it changes, press Featured and it takes you back to original App Store Featured page.
    Cheers for the catalytic thought.

    Hi! All,
I have iPhone 4 and has been upgraded to be iOS5.0.1 yet.
Yesterday, I found a strange case as mentioned above.
While I was browsing Facebook apps page via App Store from my iPhone, I touched the screen and moved upward to the top for remvoing a dust.
After that, I found that App Store Featured page is hang up in Facebook apps page compeletely.
It can't go back to the top of Featured page in App Store till now.
There is no problem found in "Categories", "Top 25", "Search" and "Updates" pages.
I have tried to reset and restore all stuff back into my iPhone completely yet.
However, there is still no changes.
Anyone can let me know how can I fix it up?
Thank you for your kind attention!
    Happy New Year!!!

  • How I change my apple id in the update menu in the app store?(ipad mini)

If i want to Update my Apps in the AppStore the AppStore will ask for my Password ...  now the store ask for the Password of the Apple id from my Friend (Loged in for a while ) i cant change it. Please help me :)

What account id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad ? If it's your friend's then tap on it and log out of it and then log in with your account - but any apps (and any other content) that were downloaded from friend's account will remain tied to their account, so only their account will be able to download updates to those apps.

  • IOS 6 app store 'Featured' and 'Charts' tabs not loading

Got the iPhone 5 recently, opened it, worked like a charm. About two days ago, I tried to open the App Store to find a new game to try, waited, waited some more, and just wouldn't load. Now the odd thing is that the 'Genius' tab, and Search functions work just fine, it's the 'Featured' tab and the 'Charts' tab that won't load. The pinwheel in the top status bar cycles for a brief second, then goes away and I'm left with a blank page.
    I have tried the following:
1.) Hard reset (Hold the 'Home' and power button until the apple logo appears)
2.) Made and then restored from a backup (The brilliant idea that the "Genius'" at the apple store told me, in my eyes it sounded stupid to begin with)
3.) Switched off WIFI and tried going through LTE, the same the other way around
Does anyone know of a fix for this? Keep in mind that this is not the same as the 'Cannot connect to iTunes' issue.

I have the same issue with Ipad3, and I did the following steps recommended on other topics but still not working
    1. setting>general>date&time = set automatically to OFF
    2. set your year to 2013
    3. off and connect again your network connection and open your app store. wait and see..it should now open!
    4. you can set back your date&time = set automatically to ON again.
    please help

  • I have dual displays.  My dock is on the MBP bottom and the menu bar is on the extended monitors top.

I have a Dell 2408 acting as the main display and a 15" MBP.  For some reason, today the dock ended up on the MBP screen at the bottom and the menu bar is on the Dell at the top.  I can't seem to move the dock back to the Dell.  Can someone help?  I tried moving the menu bar to the MBP and then back, hoping the dock would follow but no luck.
    Thanks for your help.

When the dock is defined as on the bottom, it will appear on the screen of the extended desktop that is lowest.
Move the second monitor where the bottom edges are equal or the Dell is lower and the dock will move there.
