No browser configuration service book entries. Whats is this

I had to get a replacement blackberry beacuse mine broke. So I got it today and programed it today I try to go on the inter net and I get this error message. Your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries. Whats this mean?????

Hi there!
I suggest the following steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your carrier to see where they are in the process of shifting your BIS account from your old BB over to your new one.

Like an **bleep** I forgot my password and of course after attempting it 10 x and being wrong the device wiped itself clean. Fortunately, I did a back up like a month ago and didn't lose any of my contacts but now my browser isn't working. The message says there are no service book entries for the browser. Prior to my little mishap the browser was working fine. Can anyone help??

Contact your wireless provider support team and ask them to push service books to your device wirelessly.

Dear,
i have a BB 8520 and i accidentely deleted almost everyting from the SERVICE BOOK enrty. now if i want to open Twitter it says - "could not find a service book entry for IPPP". if i try to open BB app world it says - "please contact your service provider to upgrade ur data plan". Same goes for Facebook application. however i have a unlimited data plan. luckily my BB msger is still working... apps like TOI, NDTV still works....

Have you tried the following:-
1) battery pull - remove battery, wait 30 seconds, reinsert battery and wait for phone to restart
2) reregister handset - Menu - Options - Host Routing Table - Menu Key - Register Handset
3) Log onto Vodafone's BIS website (assuming UK user -http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/) - go to Help and select "Resend Service Books"

I accidentally deleted my service book entries on my BB Pearl 8100. How can I have them back?

Please reboot the phone by removing the battery and placing it back then check for the Service Books, if you still don't see them, contact your carrier and ask them to send you all the Service Books you need for the BIS service.

App store saying Http/1.1 Service Unavailable. What does this mean?

So I was trying to access my app store updates. And when I click on the updates icon it says, "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable." What does this mean and how do I fix this problem? Or do I need to contact Apple?

This has just happened to me. My phone (Samsung Intensity) worked great on Sunday. Sent and received several texts while at home on Sun during Steeler football game. Monday night, while sitting outside of my home in my driveway, could not make a call. Message said CDMA SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE. On the front of my phone it says Searching SVC. No bars. Icon of a cell phone with a diagonal line through it. Tuesday night, same. Didn't think about trying it at my office. Tried the dialing *228 send option 2 but that doesn't exactly work when the phone doesn't work. My husband's phone (Casio GZOne) also not working at our house.

I'm not entirely sure where you are looking, but some books you need to pay to be able to download them from the store, but there will also be some (e.g. old classics) which are free to download - your previous ibook purchases/downloaded will show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer, and in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app on your phone

Browser Configuration

I have been experimenting with browser settings on my 8330 to minimize the response time. When I had a checkmark in each of the boxes it took 2-3 minutes to receive a webpage response. I now have none of them checked and my response time is excellent. Can someone help me understand which of these I should/need to have checked to maximum webpage viewing pleasure without sacrificing response times? I'm sorry, but I don't understand what each of these box options (i.e. 'Use Background Imaages', Support HTML Table', etc.) does.

I do not know of any website that would have the listing for what each option does. A good point to remember though, the default that it is set to by your carrier usually has been tested for optimum browsing on their service.

When I clear history script:chrome://browser/content/sanitize.js:136 hangs, what is this?

When I "clear recent history" it hangs and "script:chrome://browser/content/sanitize.js:136" comes up and I have to stop the script to continue. This started within the last week.

On Windows, the file path is:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\%PROFILENAME%\downloads.sqlite
I renamed the file, but it did not work.
What I did was uncheck all of the checkboxes in "Clear Recent History..."
By one checkbox at a time, I cleared each item.
When I reached the "Cookies" item, I got the unresponsive script/JavaScript error, so I left that unchecked and cleared the rest of the items.
After I cleared everything else, I returned to the "Cookies" item, and I was able to clear it now.

"The device does not have necessary services"...what does this mean?

I have been told this error happens because Verizon wants you to use data instead of wifi to browse your phone but as this is happening with a bluetooth connection that does not seem a likely answer unless Verizon is also not willing to let you use bluetooth to browse your phone. All I want to do is browse the files on my S4 Mini via bluetooth. That should not be asking too much... What is the real cause of this error and is there a fix or workaround? Thanks!

hey man, i was getting the same message, with a MacPro 8-core and a MacbookPro, i did this...
1. both has the BLUETOOTH Sharing ON and "Show Bluetooth Status in Bar" ON
(my Require paring is off, don't know if it changes something)
2.in bluetooth preferences, select the device (here MacbookPro) click below in the gear for options than "Configure this device”.
3. when the "Bluetooth Device Set Up" show up, do not click on CONTINUE, instead click on the bluetooth button in menu bar, your device (here my mackbookpro) now has the option for SEND and BROWSE...

Internet Browser Not Working despite re-sending service book...

Can someone please help?
The web browser is not working on my Pearl.
I am with O2 and have been in the O2 shop for an hour today and on the phone to various people at customer services and still no joy on my Blackberry problem.
The internet browser is not working. My e-mail has been set up and i can recieve mails only, but not send them. The error code: YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY BROWSER CONFIG SERVICE BOOK ENTRIES, or when I try and send an e-mail, NO MESSAGE SERVICE CONFIG appears, despite re-sending service book codes, plus also turning my phone off, and taking the battery off several times whilst in the O2 shop and then at home when on the phone to customer services.
The people at my network are stumped, and so am I!
Please, any solutions?

Not Service Book in 9630

All, I need your experities. I brought unlocked 9630 from Sprint for my ATT SIM. When I inserted my ATT SIM card. I am able text and make call, however when I try to browse. I got error says " Your Device doe not Currently have any browser Connfiguration Service Book entries. Please contact you service provider to enable the browser on your device" By the way, I have blackberry data plan and I try use my friend's unlocked blackberry. It allowes me to browser internet. please advice. Many Thanks.

You should only have this service book on your device if you are or were previously on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
As a workaround you could also backup and security wipe the device then attempt restoring the address book once again:

If it still fails there may be an issue with the backup.
