i want to integrate SRM7.0 with Portal,
Enviroment :
SRM7.0 AS ABAP
ERP 6.0SR3 AS ABAP/AS JAVA
BP for SRM7.0 has installed
SRM has been added into Trused System in Portal
and i follow InstGuide > "Guide for Automated Configuration: Connecting Portal Systems u201D
When i logon Portal with <hostname>:<port>/NWA
and click > Deploy and Change
there is no "BS: SRM-Portal(Basic Configuration) V1u201D exist
i dont know Why, whether because my NW7.0 patch 14 need to upgrade? Or other reason

You can also configure portal connection manually. Please check the Configuration Guide in SAP Solution Manager or offline downloaded configuration guide in http://service.sap.com/srm-inst SAP SRM Server 7.0 -> Configuration Guide for SAP SRM 7.0 -> Business Package for SAP SRM 7.0.
You can also access SRM via NWBC html in current SRM 7.0 SP06 without Portal. It is called Portal-Independent Navigation Frame.

I know that it is the old thread but still want to get clarified from you out of curiosity.
Unlike other IDOC, i actiavated change pointers for LOIPRO
1.message and idoc type is linked
2.function module , message type , idoc type is linked
function module used is CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO
3.BD64, distribution model is created and distributed
4. port and partner profile is in place.
5. IDOC is not getting generated after creating the process order.
do we need to activate the change documents for the message type in BD52,
if yes can you please provide the object types for the same.
or i am missing something else. please guide me in this regards.

I'm a student, and an oracle portal beginner. I just got an internship in an IT company, where my first task is to create an portal. There is an application server already installed here, with BI, portal, wireless... I was told that the portal was installed (checked as an option during AS installation) but it is not confugured. Where should I begin and what basic configuration I need to do in order to start building the portal?You can check by taking a look at the ports for each component.
The portal is actually served by several components. Webcache -> Apache -> oracle portal modules
Take a look at the portlist.ini file in the $ORACLE_HOME/install direcotry. Pay attention to the webcache port, webcache admin port, and apache (oracle http server).
Portal should be accessable by going to http://<servername>:<webcache port>/pls/portal with an out of the box configuration.
Also, to get you started, OPMN (oracle proces smanagement and notification) manages the processes for each component. You can type opmnctl from the command line with no parameters to get help on its usage.
Most management can also be done through the enterprise manager. It is usually on http://<servername>:1156/ you will have to login with the ias_admin account. You can get the port by typing emctl status iasconsole from the command line.
This is the same info I started with when i first started learning portal a year ago. -

Yes It looks like you don't have authorization.
Try J2EE_Admin instead.

Kindly create a new user with SAP_J2ee_admin role and try.
I think it should work. Generally J2EE admin is the higher authorization on Java componnets.
If you have ABAP associated with your system just check once whether this above mention role is properly generated.

However there is no such guide on Portal integration with GRC, you might need to follow below steps:
1- Create one HTTP type RFC connection between GRC and Portal system.
2- Create System Alias in portal system for GRC system
3- Deploy the GRC Portal content in Portal system
5-Portal content comes with 5 work-sets and one security role.You can assign the portal role that comes with the Portal content to user in Portal and also GRC roles to the same user in GRC system.

Error when signing on SRM portal
Hi, i have this problem, when user signs on in the SRM portal (SRM 3.0) and the shopping cart page suppossed to appears (after enters user and pwd), the following error displays:

It seems some mandatory System configuration settings are missing.
For time-being, please Try de-activating the active customer implementations of the BADIs BBPDOC_CHANGE / BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADIs and then try again the Shop process._
Please try to look into RZ20, ST22, RZ10, and SLG1 transactions for any error logs generated.

Attach files to a Shopping Cart in SRM portal using a ABAP program.
Hello.
We need to attach files to a Shopping Cart using a ABAP program and see them in SRM portal.
Currently we know how to attach files in the backend using the function Xxxxxxxxxx but with this function we can not see the attachment in the SRM portal.
Do you know someway to attach files direclty in the front-end using a program?
Maybe i have to attach first in the back-end and after that transfer to front-end?
I have seen some thread but the solution provided is in the other way arround (transfer from front-end to backend) and then is not useful for my proble.

You can attach a file to SC ,and it is a standard functionality provided in SRM.
While creating a Shopping cart,under Documents and attachements tab,there is an option to select a local file and attach it to a SC
If you are looking at attaching the document in SRM and sending it to BE system.(R/3 system), then have a look at SAP note Note 1057932 - FAQ: Atachment transfer to backend, Required Configurations.
The Following BADIs will have to be implemented to allow the above functionality
For transfer of attachments in PO , activate the BADI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK. Set the values of the following parameters in the
method BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK~Fill_PO_INTERFACE
CV_ATTACH_TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'
CV_ATTACH_BE_STORAGE_CAT = 'DMS_C1_ST'
CV_ATTACH_BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.

Need to create a Web Dynpro Application for SRM Portal
We need to recreate the start page for SRM Portal - (Supplier Self-Services) - without any images (as was delivered out of the box) - basically we need to break it down into 4 iViews: All Purchase Orders; All Sched Agreement Releases; All Invoices and Credit Memos; and Account History. All these iViews contains links.
How would one create a Web Dynpro Application to create the above iViews?

How to trigger BPM Process from SRM Portal
Hello Experts,
I'am new to BPM and NWDS 7.3 but experienced with Abap and NWDS 7.0 Development...
Before posting, i have been through the forum and couldn't find exact answer to my case..
Basicly what i need to do is to trigger BPM Processes on the BPM Server from SRM Portal Server, I'm aware that i can communicate between these servers with WSDL basicly but how am i going to call the BPM Process' Web Service from Standart SRM Processes?
These processes will be standart ones mostly and also i am new to SRM.
Kindest Regards,SAP SRM 7.0 user interface is developed in WebDynpro and runs on NetWeaver Portal (Portal was optional component in earlier versions of SRM but it is mandatory component now). So in order to call BPM Webservice (i.e., to trigger a BPM Process) from NetWeaver Portal / SRM 7.0 you can do the following
- Develop a custom application (using EJBs,etc) to call the BPM web service by creating a web service proxy client using NWDS and then deploying it on Portal Server.
- Directly create a model in WebDynpro project by using the WSDL of BPM trigger webservice (using NWDS). You can then call the model in WD User Interface, which in turn will invoke the BPM web service and start the process.

Data entered in the custom field in the SRM portal not getting saved..
Hi Experts,
I have added a custom field in Contract Screen of the SRM portal by adding the field as an append structutre in structure INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_CTR.
The custom field now appears in the header (basic data ) of the 'Process contract' screen.
NOw It allows me to enter data in the custom field .
The problem is ..
When I 'CHECK' or "RELEASE' the contract, the value entered in the custom field disappears..
How do i capture the data entered in the custom field ...please HElp!!!

We have upgraded our SRM system from 3.0 to 5.5
I have added the custom field in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_CTR and
INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF as the field has to appear in the basic data tab of 'Process Contract'.
Regarding debugging:
1. I tried to debug in BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI by calling the FM BBP_PD_CTR_GETDETAIL. inside the badi and the parameter e_header of the function module contained the custom field but had no value...!!
2. I tried to debug the badi BBP_CUF_BADI_2 method MODIFY_INPUT..
The import variable iv_fieldname contains the field name amd the variable iv_value has the value entered in the custom field .........but another import structure ls_header also contains the custom field but no value....
Method MODIFY_INPUT has only one export parameter ev_value,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding Webdynpro component in SRM portal page

I have my SRM 7.0 system setup with users configured with standard roles - Employee, Manager, Operational purchaser, Startegic purchaser.
I login to the portal page and do shopping transactions through any of these users. I want to find the webdynpro component of the current page.Right clicked to get More field Help, but it shows "No Help Available".
Am I missing any portal user configuration or is there any role issue? Please help.Hello Prasanna,

Approval Substitution Functionality in SRM portal.
Hi All,
We need to activate approval substitution scenario with respect to PO and shopping cart. But the standard workflow seems to be having an issue with validation. It doesn't validate the substitute and accept any substitute irrespective of its PO value limit. We developed a function module which checks the PO value limit for the substitute with respect to the approver. But the problem is we could not link the function module to the portal as we are unaware of BHTML code and the process of implementing it.
Our requirement is to have the validation in portal and not in the SRM system. The client recommended us to go for a change in the ITS object of approval BBPAPPROVAL. We are also not sure about modifying ITS object.
Would request you to kindly give us suggestions about proceeding in this scenario. Also if you have some standard codes kindly send us across.

I assume you are creating the "Inbox Substitution" from portal.
Goto SE80 - Select Function Group - and give BW02. In that you have screens - go to 1382 screen.
Goto Module 1328_handle_action.
Goto Perform 1328_Handle_Substitution.
Goto Perform d1328_find_deputies.
This is the sap standard code which gives list of users based on the search criteria when we create substitution in portal.
gt_deputies is the standard internal table which stores the user list.
I have used "Enhancement Operations" and created a custom code to delete the users from gt_deputies who are having less than the approval limit of the user who is trying to create the substitute.
So the final gt_deputies table will have only the users who are having approval limit more than the user who is creating the substitute.
Basically, the code written in enhancement gets executed after the standard sap code is executed. In this way we are not modifying the standard code but restrict the output list of the sap table using our enhanced code.
I am not aware of the ITS object specified by your client.

Now I have created the SRM system in portal and configured the property like WAS and ITS. However during connection test under 'Connector' property I am unable to successfully test the 'Connection Test for Connectors'. I get the following error :

For SSO I have downloaded the 'verify.der' from portal from the path : System Administration System Configuration Keystore Administration and uploaded the same in backend SRM system.
Still I get the above error.
