No Bulletin board exists. Entering in boot mode

Hello,
I am getting this error:
No Bulletin board exists. Entering in boot mode
And tuxedo does not boot saying Assume pipe for all the servers.
Thanx in advance

The AP has been converted to lightweight:
C1240-K9W8-M
The K9W8 is lightweight and K9W7 is autonomous.  You need a WLC for the K9W8.  If you have an autonomous image, you can convert it back:

  • I don't think Mac OS X Lion is entering Safe Boot mode

    Hi Everyone,
I always do a safe boot when troubleshooting since my first MacBook with Leopard and after installing Lion in a new MacBook Pro, I don't think I'm entering safe boot mode. I mean, I press the shift key at boot time like I've done countless times before but now I think my MacBook Pro is not booting safe.
Namely: I don't see the words "Safe Boot" on the login screen, it doesn't take longer and the pinwheel is not replaced by a progress bar when booting.
Can anyone please tell me what's going on?
    Thanks in advance!

When I tried to run the Apple Hardware Test and couldn't start it with the "D" key, even though the "Alt" key and "Cmd+R" boot options did work, I started getting more suspicious.
I reset the PRAM and that fixed my issue.
For the record, the words "Safe Boot" on the login screen did not appear, but the progress bar instead of the pinwheel did.

    Hi,Nicolas
Before I booted up the app server ,I set the environment variable PS_CFG_HOME to /appfs/people/opt/PS/PS_CFG_HOME,and the above error occured, but when I unset the PS_CFG_HOME,it booted up successfully. But another error occured when booted up :

  • After OS Upgrade, Computer will No Longer Boot from Disc, Enter T-Disc Mode

I purchased the Leopard update about a week ago and proceeded to install it (upgrade option) on my MacBook Pro previously running Tiger. After this update, I no longer seem to be able to boot from a disc(c on startup), enter target disc mode(t on startup), enter single user mode(command s on startup), basically anything that requires hitting a key on boot. In short, the operating system seems to override any of those commands and just loads regardless of what I press.
How can I fix this?? I fear that if my mac suddenly dies, I won't be able to fix it with archive and install via the CD, since I can't boot from it. I also won't be able to recover my files with target disc mode or anything.
    For more in-depth details:
-My hard drive does have an open firmware password- it was recommended as part of the undercover anti-theft program that I use. Although I can tell putting the password on was a mistake, since I've read that single user mode is no longer accessible with this password active. I don't think this is affecting my inability to boot from disc or target disc mode though, as I was always able to do this with Tiger, even with the firmware password active.
-I have tried booting from other discs, like my old tiger OS disc that came with the laptop- that fails too.
-My Leopard installation was not clean. Like many others, I used the upgrade option and it appeared to work ok- until restart, where I was faced with the blue screen. Since I was unable to boot to single user mode and try removing potential APE files, I let the computer sit for an hour on the blue screen until it finally loaded. Upon getting in, I found that I did not even have APE's installed. I proceeded to reinstall the operating system via an Archive & Install. Upon boot after this reinstall, I still received a blue screen that lasted a long time, and the OS loaded very slow. It did this for a few additional boots afterwards, and has appeared to smooth itself out now, a week later. The OS now loads fine and works alright (from what I can see), but I still can not boot from disc or anything else.
If anyone at all knows a solution for this, it would be much appreciated. I wanted to suspect something like the disc drive going bad, but being that things like the target-disc mode aren't working either- I'm hesitant to believe its just the disc drive. Being that it also happened just as I upgraded to Leopard and faced issues, I have more of a hunch that its something to do with Leopard.
I apologize if this has been answered before, but I've looked all over the site, google, everywhere I could think of and came up with no answer.
    Thanks ~Brian

Hi, I have been having the exact same problem with a late 2011 MBP 15 inch. I replaced the hard drive with a samsung SSD 1.5 years ago, along with a samsung SSD in the optical drive. It worked great until the Yosemite upgrade. The MBP seemed to work reasonably well for a few days after the upgrade, but then it started stalling on various programs (spinning beach ball on Mail, Safari, etc). Start-ups were also longer and had a loading bar each time, which was new since the upgrade. I left the MBP to sleep last night and when opening it, it crashed and tried to restart. On restart it loads to the login screen, then after I enter the password it partially loads (based on the loading bar), then shuts off. I removed the SSD and plugged it in with a USG, but that didn't change anything. Here is a picture after using CMD-V before it shuts off.

  • Bulletin Board boot  does not bring up services

    Hello,
I am trying to create a new tuxedo server, i have built it successfully and have
included the server name in the servers section of the Config File . The Config
    File was built to
create the Tuxconfig file.It successfully created the binary file.
Now i Boot my bulletin board and i get a message CMDTUX_CAT 819 Info .Process
    id nnnnn Assume Started(Pipe)
I dont see this in my processes using tmadmin.
Is there any step that i am missing..
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks
    Vijaya

    Vijaya,
The process hasn't started correctly. Generally, "assume started" means
    that the server hasn't started!
Has it core dumped? (Is there a core file in your appdir?)
Does it need access to a shared library that isn't in your shared
    library path?
    If you run tmboot -i <your sserver's id> -g <your server's group> -d 1
you will see the server's full command line. One wahy to debug it is to
type that command line in and run the server from the shell prompt manually.
    I hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Peter.

  • My mac book air keeps starting in safe boot mode. I cant enter my password as it is caps lock so i cant access my computer. Please can someone please help me start back in normal mode? Thank you

MY Macbook air keeps starting in "safe boot" mode, no idea why. I cannot get into the system because this mode makes everything write in capital letters and my password is in lower case. I keep turning it off and on but nothing changes and i cannot access my computer. Please can someone help me? Thank you

I'm not getting a clear picture at all of what problems you're seeing. If you are seeing online accounts have their passwords changed, those accounts are being hacked. Someone may already have access to some account and is using that access to reset passwords on other accounts. Change the password on EVERY online account you have. Be sure to use a strong password, and don't use the same password on more than one site.
If you are seeing changes to your bookmarks and browser history, your Apple ID may be one of the accounts that has been hacked. After changing the password on your Apple ID, you need to lock it down with two-factor authentication:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5570
Beyond that, we will need additional details about what specific symptoms you're seeing in order to help further. One thing I can say, though, is that these problems are very unlikely to be due to any kind of malware. See my Mac Malware Guide to learn more on that topic.

  • Satellite C50-B with Win 8.1 - PXE error appeares using UEFI boot mode

I have a C50-b laptop running Win 8.1 and recently needed to boot it from a usb key so eventually found the way to do that (miss the bios first boot menu) and managed to do that.
My problem is even when I have returned to uefi and set the boot order to be local disk, cd, network it asks everytime do I want to boot for PXE IP4,IP6 then IP4 and IP6 again. I have also disabled secure boot
I think some value is missing when I switched to BIOS and back to UETI boot option but where is the laptop getting the setting to tell it to PXE/Network boot when its down the list and wake on LAN is disabled.

According to the automated support on the site I should do the following for Win 8
Switch on the notebook and immediately begin tapping the F2 key continuously.
When the system setup (BIOS) appears, stop tapping F2. Tap F9 once, select 'Yes', and press Enter.
Use the cursor keys to move to the Advanced menu.
Choose System Configuration and press Enter.
Ensure that Boot Mode is set to UEFI Boot.
Press Escape to return to the Advanced menu and choose the Security menu.
    Set Secure Boot to Enabled.
Press F10 once, select 'Yes', and press Enter.

  • Re: Download Toshiba Bulletin Board for Windows 8

My wife has a Satellite L870-18V running Windows 8.
She has noticed me using my Bulletin Board on my rather older Toshiba Satellite L650-12Q (with Windows 7) and wants one!
Is it possible to download Bulletin Board to her computer, as it is not pre-loaded on her system?

The Toshiba Bulletin Board upgrade was available for notebooks which where preinstalled with Windows 7 and supports an official upgrade to Windows 8.
Such Toshiba BB upgrade could be downloaded from Toshiba EU driver page.
    [Toshiba Bulletin Board v2.1.21 Windows 8 Upgrade |http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory =2&selFamily=2&selSeries=363&selProduct=7400&selSh ortMod=null&language=13&selOS=all&selType=373&year upload=&monthupload=&dayupload=&useDate=null&mode= allMachines&search=&action=search&macId=&country=a ll&selectedLanguage=13&type=373&page=1&ID=85103&OS ID=42&driverLanguage=42]
But as far as I know Toshiba Bulletin Board is not available anymore for notebook which were released with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1

  • McBook 2011 shuts down when want to enter to recovery mode

Hello everybody, I got a problem with my Mcbook `11 recovery mode , I wanna enter to recovery mode but it gets shut down before I do. there is no problem when OS starts up but for recovery mode I have this problem.
I appreciate your help. Thank U

After toyin around a bit more, I managed to attempt to mount the boot dmg on the RHD. The follow happened:
This confims to me that my boot dmg is corrupted. However I wanted to rule away the option of the firmware password, and hence mounted the dmg with no verification. Using this I was able to sucessfully remove the firmware password. After rebooting I got indeed not prompted for a password when holding alt. The problem with my RHD however persisted.

  • Toshiba bulletin board

i accidentally uninstalled my toshiba bulletin board.how can i safely re install it and from where?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Go to the product support link at the top of this page, enter in your model number, then click on the downloads tab.  See if it's listed there.
You might need to click on the blue text link that states Show All Models to show yours.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Macbook wouldn't start nor enter in save mode

    Hi all,
I really need your help urgently! After restarting the macbook, it does not start. Instead it stays at the apple sign, with the circle going on and on... for two hours. I tried to enter the safe mode, the bar should up, and then in less than a minute it goes back to the circle.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks.
Update: I got this when I tried to turn it on:

    Spasevska,
if you’re unable to boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode, then that greatly reduces your self-help options. Do you have any of the following available to you?
    a bootable external hard disk
access to a FireWire cable and access to a second Mac with a FireWire port
If none of the above is available to you, then you’ll need to make an appointment at an Apple store or other qualified service center to have them fix the issue.

  • Satellite Pro C50: Installation of Win 7 using UEFI boot mode

I want to install Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on Sat Pro C50 (downgrade if you like - supplied with Win 8), but I want it UEFI booting, with GPT partitioning.
I am happy to wipe existing partitions if that solves problem.
    I _have_ disabled Secure Boot.
    Booting Win 8 install DVD works;
Setting CSM boot and booting from Win 7 DVD works - but this isn't what I want.
Setting back to UEFI boot and boot Win7 install media - locks up at "Starting Windows" screen.
Media _is_ good, works OK on other manufacturers' PCs.
I am not convinced this is a Microsoft problem.

    Hi
On Toshiba notebooks where UEFI BIOS is available, its necessary to disable secure boot and to change the boot mode to CSM in order to boot from external sources and to install other systems than Win 8 or Win 8.1
Some workarounds in the internet describes the installation of Windows 7 in UEFI mode but I doubt this will be possible on Toshiba notebooks since the BIOS is different and modified for each notebook series.

  • Message Board or Bulletin Board?

    Hello everyone,
Can you tell me if Portals has message board/bulletin board capabilities out of the box?
    Specifically,
I'm wondering if I can setup a collaboration room where members can post messages similar to what we do in this forum (same format).
    Is this possible?
    I'm running EP6.0, SP15, on Windows 2003, SQL.
    Thanks!

    Hello Henry
In addition to the bulletin board capabilities you can implement with XML forms and layout sets (as stated in the documentation posted by Vinoth), there is Discussion Groups functionality provided by SAP out of the box, if you're looking to have threads of messages (with replies, etc).  There is a Discussion Groups iView through which users can post messages, and a Discussion Groups Admin iView so that administrators can maintain the groups (if specific groups exist).
That would probably be the closest out of the box option to the SDN forums.  (SDN uses a product called Jive for their forums.)  See the documentation <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/01/ed0f412d72f323e10000000a155106/frameset.htm">Configuration of Discussion Groups</a> to get discussion groups set up and configured.
    Hope this helps,
    Fallon
