No Business Partner name in the general note of a DSWP-issue

End user has been created within a CUA-sytem and distributed to the SSM-system. Subsequently the Business Partner BP has been generated in the SSM-system succesfully with the tcode bp_gen. The BP has been attached in the organization model succesfully using tcode pposa_crm. However, the Holder name does not appear at the left lower Holder column. After some investigation it appears that the fields HRP1000-SHORT and HRP1000-STEXT of the Central Person are not filled. Hence, no Business Partner name appears in the general note of DSWP-issue and therefore different to trace who has done what.  What can be the cause of this issue?

Just for the record...
It appears that in some cases the Title-field was not filled in the CUA-system. Therefore this field was not transferred to the SAP Solution Manager system. The problem has been solved by entering a value in the 'Title'-field of the Business Partner [/nbp] - the Holder name in the organisational unit appears again.

              I am a R/3 Basis consultant and I am not much aware of the functionality of the transaction CIC0. The User is facing an issue while accessing transaction CIC0 - Customer Interaction Center. The User first clicks on yellow arrow near the search string and provides the contract account in the prompted screen.Presses "Enter" for three times and gets the invoice details. Under Invoice selects the bill, double clicks on it and presses "End Contract" to clear data. Now the first screen appears and again he continues as earlier. But this time he clicks on yellow arrow on search string, provides different contract account number, presses "Enter" button. But nothing appears even he presses "Enter" button n times.It doesnt moves to Business Partner details of the account selected. It always works for the first entry and does not work from the second entry. Even if the enter key pressed for n times, the text boxes are not automatically populating the relevant information. There was no any change in GUI Version. But seems to be there was a upgradation in Desktop Version GI-Desktop from 1.8 to 1.9. Since then this issue is occuring for all the users. Is it because of this upgradation or any of you have come across this scenario earlier. Please advise on this issue as I need to resolve this issue at the earliest.

    You have a few options:  execute a customer change or use the account holder functionality, or reverse all transactions and redo with correct partner.
    The account holder would enable you to keep the account number, but it only allows you to add a new business partner as related.  You cannot remove the current business partner relation, and thus might not be appropriate.
    The customer change process moves the contracts and account from one bp to another.  This will result in a new account number.
    Lastly, you can reverse the bills and moves, and then re-execute them with the correct bp.

    In the Standard Reports, you cannot add a new column.
    As mentioned by me earlier, please check 'Offset Account Name' column in the Form Settings if the same is of help in your case.

    If ur selection creteria by g/l account,u can display customer/vendor name by including
    offset account from form settings.

  • Business Partner with ID GUID is not an employee - HR Replication

    Hi All,
    We are on SRM 5.0 Server 5.5. Our SRM Org structure comes from R/3. We did an initial replication and everything worked. I am now manually trying to replicate selected positions and persons, and this is not working properly.
    The position and person comes across however in PPOSA_BBP the central person is not automatically linked to the position. When I run HRALXSYNC on the CP, I get an error "Business Partner with ID <GUID> is not an employee". I have checked the BP and it is an employee; in transaction PP01 there is an Org. assignment (0001) to the position and org unit. I have checked the IDOCs and the relationship A008 seems to be coming across.
    Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can check?

    The CP object is a technical object and represents the natural person. The CP is not transferred in the scenario "SRM standalone with ALE integration of an HR system". This means that the CP in the HR system and the CP in SRM systems are different objects. The number of the CPs in the SRM system in this case is not significant, but when the CP is created, the system tries to assign the number of the first personal number (contract) to the object.

    You can use the FM:CRM_CENTRALPERSON_GET
    pass the input parameter IV_USERNAME as the user name
    You can get the result in the export parameter EV_NAME as user's first name last name

    In the past, whenever I use to create the employee using Tcode PA40, the corresponding Business Partner (BP) used to get created.
    But now when I create the employee, BP does not gets created.
    I checked using the program "HR_SYNC_PERSON" and found that whenever I select the employee option and execute it gives the following error(whenever I select the employee option and execute):
    Assignment: Business partner for person '50000029' is not unique

    Oh, I understand.  Earlier I misunderstood your statement.
    So the CP is 50000029.  Regardless, the point is still the same.  SAP tried generating a BP to tie to CP 50000029.  Your system HAS configured a BP number range.  Whatever the next value of your number range is, seems like is already being used. 
    Go to the BP number range config and look at the next value.  Look in transaction BP and enter that BP and see if you get any hits.  My guess is that you will.  You'll likely need to end up changing your business partner number range.  You won't get unique violations for different OTYPE values. 
    What's your existing BP number range next value?  What happens when you search for that value in transaction BP?

    Good day! Is there a way to use the Business Partners Names as parameter fields? Like when you want to search data about a certain business partner, you'll just type in his/her name to gather the data. I was only able to do that using BP Codes.

    If your business partner name is part of your database field data then you can very well create a prarameter and define default values of your Business Partners.
    Also you need to filter the data through Record Selection to get Business Partner wise data.

  • 'Business Partner Assigned to the User' Access Sequence don't work

    Hello.
    I use access sequence 0008 (Business Partner Assigned to the User) in my Partner determination procedure. But it doesn't work. Corresponding Partner field in service document is empty. But I need that BP linked with logon user filled it.
    I've made the same settings on another incstanse of SM and it's work. And what the difference between I don't understand.

    Sorry, but I don't quite get it.  My purpose is to have 9 policies all working all the time (they did at in one version of firmware).  I don't care about time entries for these.  All 9 policies are full of keywords and websites to block webpages related to porn to one degree or another.  The 10th policy is time-based to prevent internet access altogether for one or two computers through the wee hours of the morning.  This, all in leu of having no parental controls.
    Again, it would help if there was more detailed documentation on how this all works.  This is the first I am aware that time settings in one policy could affect or impede the operation of other policies.  How am I supposed to know this?
    In any case, I appreciate your assistance and looking into this for me.  But can you now tell me how to make it work so the policies will work as I want - the first 9 around the clock all the time, and the 10th one only from 1:30 am to 8:00 am (every day).  Please instruct me on how I am supposed to configure this to work, and what specific settings I am supposed to enter... if it is even possible.  Or is there another way of accomplishing this on my WRT54G (Rev. 2) product?  Thanks.

    That's probably because it's been sent out to a Bcc'd mailing list and that's the name on the main version. This is so that you don't see the other names.
    If it doesn't come from something @apple.com then it's spam. Even if it appears to it's probably spam. If you want to change your password go directly to http://appleid.apple.com - do not follow any links in the email (even if they appear to lead to that address.)

    I have apex 3.1.0.00.32 installed on solaris 10g R2. I didnt make any changes to a page which is based on report/query.
    When I modify the records I get the above error page not found HTTP 404
    When I check the apache logs I see
    mod_plsql: /pls/apex/src= HTTP-400 Bad name in the request: not a legal PLSQL identifer
    Any hints on this?

    Modify records how? Using what tool? What to you mean by "When"? Do you mean "after" modifying records you run the report and get the error or do you mean "in the process of" modifying records using a control in your application? What kind of report is this? Can you show us on apex.oracle.com?

  • Problem with display of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean business partner name

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to understand how to get GTS to properly display the names of the business partners that are in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
    I have set my SAP gui localization as follows:
    - Select the Customize Local Layout, then Options, then the |18N tab,
    and check the Activate Multibyte Function box
    - Select the Customize Local Layout, then Character Set and check
    Unicode and Simplified Chinese
    In the source R/3 system for these partners, if I set my localization to the right language, the business partner's name and address would be displayed correctly in the C/J/K character sets when I select the appropriate version in International Version of the address.
    However, in GTS these names/addresses would just appear as nonsensical characters (like "·ÉÀûÆÖÕÕÃ÷µç×Ó£¨ÉϺ££©ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾").
    For example, if I do a look up of a known Chinese BP by number, in the seach results window the Description field of that BP would just be garbage, but if I put the cursor over the Description field, then the correct Chinese display (matching what is in R/3) would appear for as long as the cursor is over that field. This indicates that the data was transferred correctly from R/3 to GTS, but some how the display does not default to the right character set.
    If I select that record, the resulting detailed display would also have garbage as the Name and Address. However, here putting the cursor over the fields still do not bring up the correct character displays, and I have found no way to get the correct displays to appear.
    Does any one know of a way to get the displays to show correctly in GTS?
    And can anyone explain why putting the cursor over the Description (in the BP search results window) would let the correct display pop up?
    Greatly appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

    Hi Rex - As per message - this looks to be an issue for BC-I18-UNI and not the GTS application:
    For general information purposes - last response from BC-I18-UNI development via oss message:
    "However, from readind the message, I believe I understood the reason for
    the described effect. I assume GGT is a non-Unicode system? If yes, this
    is my idea:
    The data stored in the BP tables, e.g. for number 2555442 have been
    entred manually, probably within a session using English as logon
    language. In this case the data are stored with a Latin-1 codepage. This
    means the stored data are actually Latin-1 data, not Chinese. By
    switching the font at front-end side to Chinese, the characters appear
    as correct Chinese, although they are still Latin-1.
    It is possible that different GUI components show different effects in
    this context, as the internal font switching mechanisms behave a bit
    different in different components, e.g. control based components are
    different from normal Dynpro-based fields.
    To have correct Chinese data, you need to logon with language Chinese.
    This holds for all non-Unicode systems. On Unicode systems, the logon
    language is arbitrary."

  • Business partner of organizational unit is not consistent

    Hi,
    Client is on SRM 4.0. When we are trying to search a user in the org structure, and when clicking on "Check" for this user, it was showing fine. But when we are searching any BP in the org strucutre, then immediately the BP name is vanishing against the BP of the user and when doing the "Check" it is showing the below two messages:
    Business Partner of organizational unit XXXXXXX is not consistent
    User cannot be repaired becasue the organizational unit contains errors
    When checking in BBP_CHECK_USRES, the user is not showing as defective. It is green.
    Similarly, the the organizational unit check is also showing as green.
    System is advising to run BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE. When we run this for the org units, these are coming as green.
    Users are able to create the shopping carts and also are able to create confirmations. But the problem is happening for some of the users where the system is not allowing to create shopping basket / confirmation.
    Strange thing is that, when we are searching the user by user id in the org structure, then the check is showing no messages. But if we search the same user using the BP number, then in the check, the messages are coming. And once the messages appear, it is appearing for all the users in the org strucutre even at the root node level.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    There are some possibilities to raise these kind of errors messages:                                                                               
    1) User with inconsistent data.                                           
    Please, check the instructions described in the following notes:          
    597475 - Repair users with inconsistent address data                      
    -> use the report B_REPAIR_EBP_USER_2 to make the user consistent.        
    419423 - Repairing incorrect EBP users                                    
    350129 - Creating business partner for organizational unit                                                                               
    When you create the Org Units have you fully completed the address        
    data, e.g post coe, telephone/fax number etc..                            
    If not, please enter a full address, save the data and see if this        
    generates the Business Partner.                                           
    Remember, that you can delete this user and create a new user.                                                                               
    2) Error in the positions after HR replication                                                                               
    Please, implement the following notes and retest the scenario:            
    1056873 -  Incorrect SRM users after HR distribution                      
    1016450 - Replication of persons deletes positions in SRM                                                                               
    After implementing these notes you should send the employee               
    corresponsing to the user in error with his position (using               
    transaction PFAL or report RHALEINI in UPDATE mode for all periods.                                                                               
    3) the user was deleted and a new was created and during these two        
    actions the user opened documents. So, in this case, the new user         
    becomes inconsistent                                                                               
    If the user is deleted from SU01 still the BP and S which is related to   
    that user will be retained (we can see this in PPOMA_BBP) transaction.    
    In this case we can create the user again using SU01 and can be attached  
    with the old 'S' and 'BP'.                                                                               
    2. If the user is completed deleted ie., all relations BP and S.          
    The new user has created.   
    In this case if the new user is corrupted we can delete this                  
    user (since the new user doesn't create any documents so far). But the        
    old documents should refer to the new BP related to the new user.   
    ========================
    Also, another option would be to follow the below instructions
    After applying the notes 1056873 & 1016450, send the employees        
    corresponding to the users in errors with their positions (using              
    transaction PFAL or report RHALEINI in UPDATE mode for all periods,           
    using evaluation path A008) ? If not, please do this and it must repair       
    the SRM users. Please test and give me the feedback.
