No Business System is Determined

Hello Gurus,
I would like to seek assistance from you. I am encountering a problem when creating Sales Transaction VA01. The prompt message specifies " <b>No business system is determined for logical system YGICLNT100"</b>.
I might have missed settings in the configuration. Hoping for your kind assistance.
Thanks,

Is there anywhere suggested to check under ATP setting:
category, check mode, business event, check control/check instruction?
    Your kindest enlighting is appreciated,
    Thank you,
    mandy

    Dear Mandy,
usually this error is caused by a missing customizing entry:
    spro:
    Integration with SAP Components
Integration via APO Core Interface (CIF)
Basic Settings for Creating the System Landscape
           - Maintain Business System Group
           - Assign Logical System and Queue Type :
Please read the documentation for these two transactions and create the systems.
You need to specifiy there all systems that are in your BSG. The documentation for the customizing of 'name logical system' in APO  says:
To enable the transfer of data between SAP R/3 and SAP APO, you need to name both the SAP APO system in which you are working and the SAP R/3  system to which you want to transfer data as logical systems.
    I hope this helps.

  • How does ABAP client proxy determine the sender business system

When we use ABAP client proxy to send a message in XI-SOAP format to the integration engine, how does the client proxy determine what is the sender business system, i.e. how does it know what value it should insert in the sender service field in the SOAP envelop.
For example, at first, the business system X8A_105 corresponds to the technical system X8A_105, so when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender service is X8A_105. Then I delete the business system X8A_105 in the SLD, and create a new business system that is associated with the technical system X8A_105.when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender_service is still X8A_105, why?

    Hi Annie,
Execute the following function module in your business system and see what name it returns..
    LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM.
You can always debug the code inside the above FM to find out how it gets the business system name...
I think the issue should be related to cache. I would also suggest you to logoff from your business system and then login again.

    Sumit

  • SAP ABAP Client proxy Errror occured when determining the Business system.

    Dear Friends
I am trying to push data from ECC to PI and then MS-SQL Server. My SAP scenario is ABAP Proxy to JDBC
I have created on Enhancement Implementation for AS01 ( Asset Master creation). Here I am calling my ABAP proxy and uploading ANLA and ANLZ strucutre  to my abap proxy.  but I get the run time error. that suggest Error occurred while determining the Business system - SLD_API_Exception.
My all IR and ID objects are activated, I have tested the scenario successfully without error in ID,
When I check SM21 it suggest that error is due to XI is unable to access the SLD. Could_not_determine_sld_access_data.
SLDCHECK works fine in PI system.
SLDCHECK is failed in my ECCDEV 400 client System.
Is it mandatory to configure SLD access in ecc development system as well ?  is this  the reason why I am not able to push the data to my PI system? Please tell me How can I solve this error? you any answer will be appreciated greatly.
Please look the below link it contains the enhancement code of AS01 transaction code where I am calling abap proxy to send the data.  Runtime analysis report, SM21 log, and SLDCHECK failed screen shot in 400 client. SLD working fine in PI system. my SLD is configured in SOLMAN system.
You can see the error and Code from this link ->  [Code , Runtime Dump Analysis report, SM21 Log and SLDCHECK|http://www.scribd.com/doc/61192432/Sap-Abap-Proxy-Error]

  • Error occurred when determining the business system (NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM)

    Hi ,
    I am working on a POC(ECC 6.0(proxy)>PI 7.1>(proxy)ECC 6.0).
    I have created
    1) IR objects.
2)Proxy generation & report program to fill the proxy structure.
3)ID objects. (reciever CC, RA, ID, RD)
I am getting below short dump on Sender ECC side,
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT', was not caught
    and
    therefore caused a runtime error.
The reason for the exception is:
Error (id=GET_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ERROR): An error occurred when determining the
    business system (NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM)
pls let me know, what might be wrong.

    Hello,
You may need to create your business system and point it to the Integration Server on SLD.
Generally it acuses an error on tcode SDLCHECK, for this please check note #1143810.

  • Error in Determining the Business System??

    Hello All,
I am using a client proxy from ECC 6.0. When I try to run it manually, it is giving error saying "GET_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ERROR: An error occured when determining the business sytem
NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM ".I have already created Business System.
What could be the reason for this.?? SLDCHECK is working fine. entries in RZ70 are also correct.
Same proxy in CRM 2007 system is working fine.

    Read,

  • How to determine the sender business system for ABAP client proxy

    Hi All,
I have one doubt: when the client proxy sends the message to XI, how could i know what is the sender business system name for it?
Is it the logical system which is reflected in Technical System?
let's say if i have the ABAP system, the technical system is ECC, which has three clients: 001, 066 and 000.
And the client 001's logical system in ECCCLNT001 (all the client proxy is created in this client). In this case, the sender business system name is ECCCLNT001, am i right?
    If no, please correct me.
    Thanks in advance
    Leo

    Hi lawrence
When data is distributed between different systems, each system within a network has to be clearly identifiable. The u201Clogical systemu201D deals with this issue.
A logical system is an application system in which the applications work together on a common data basis. In SAP terms, the logical system is a client.
Since the logical system name is used to identify a system uniquely within the network, two systems cannot have the same name if they are connected to each other as BW systems or as source systems, or if there are plans to connect them in any way.
Although SAP does not recommend that you connect test systems to production systems, a test system can have the same name as a production system. This makes copying production systems to test systems a lot simpler.
You are only allowed to change the logical system name of a system if the system is not connected to any other systems, because changing the logical system name would render all the connections to other systems useless.
Logical system names must contain capital letters and numbers only. SAP recommends the following naming convention for logical system names: <System-ID>CLNT<Client>.

  • Dynamic Interface Determination Using the same Business System

    Folks...
Does anyone have any good ideas on how to build a scenario where the same business system is used, but the interface mapping needs to be dynamic? I have a single JMS sender and 40 different message types on one side, and 40 ABAP Proxies on the other. The two solutions I see are as follows:
    1. Create 40 separate JMS Senders with 40 different sender agreements
    2. Create 40 Business Services for the same ECC system and utilize XPath expressions to support conditionally selecting an interface mapping
Neither of these in my mind is a great solution, does anyone have any others?
    Mahalo,
    Jonathan

Hi, I came cross the same problem on my current project, now I have following solution:
Create a number of JMS sender adapters, they all connect to same queue, but each JMS sender adapter only pick up particular type of message based on one JMS message property value. The message provider will be responsible to set the property value when they send message into the queue.
In JMS sender adapter, Parameter Tab -> Advanced Tab ->check Set Adapter-Specific message Attributes ->check Specify Additional JMS Message Properties (Maxmum of 10) -> Add Property name, e.g. "MsgType"
->Processing Tab -> Input Value in "JMS Message Selector", e.g. MsgType='WorkOrder'
after above setup, this adapter will only pick up messages that with "MsgType" Property value "WorkOrder"
For each type of adapter, you will create a JMS sender adapter and repeat the steps above, just put on the different Property value.
This approach will have number of Integration Scenarios, hence will have number of Sender Agreement.
I have tested the approach and it works.

  • Parties, Business Systems and Business Services

    Hi guys,
I've read a lot about items in subject, but have some doubts about applying them to my scenario. I have to integrate SAP system and web service.
As far as I understand concepts, this is B2B communication, so I have to use parties. To represent SAP system I use Business System, as it's described ins SLD,  and for Web service I use Business Service... just as we use business services for web services
--- Am I right here? Will it work ok in reciever determination, agreement?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
You are doing the usage of business systems and services in proper way.
The scenario will difinately work with combination of business system and service.
It will be fine for all other configurations such as Receiver Determination, Sender/receiver agreements and interface determination etc.
Please see below the importance of Parties, Business Systems and Business Services
    A communication party
A communication party (party for short) represents a larger unit, which is involved in a collaborative process. Using a communication party, you generally address a company within a cross-company process.
You can assign a communication party one or more services to address it as the sender or receiver of messages.
    A business system
If you want to address a particular business system as the sender or receiver of messages, choose this service type.
A business system is an actual application system in a system landscape. A business system (service) comprises information about the inbound and outbound interfaces and the software component versions of the business system.
You usually use business system services when configuring internal company processes.
    A business service
If you want to address an abstract business entity as the sender or receiver of messages, choose this service type.
Using a business service, you can define the technical or business subunits of the companies involved and then assign them the relevant interfaces.
You usually use business services when configuring cross-company processes. In this case, you only make your interfaces known to the business partners involved and either do not make any details about your own system landscape available, or only specific details.
For example, you can define RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes (PIPs) as business services.

  • Dynamically change Receiver Business system in message mapping

    Dear all,
I would like to change the receiver business system in the message mapping that is used in the interface determination. I do understand there is an enhanced receiver determination where I can use a mapping but that is not what I am looking for.
I think this should be possible if we can change the appropriate value in the SOAP(message) header.
Possible candidates I can think of by looking at the SOAP header in SXMB_MONI are
    1. SOAP:Header- SAP:Main- SAP:Receiver- SAP:Service
    2. SOAP:Header- SAP:OutboundBinding - SAP:OutboundBindingEntry - SAP:ToServiceName
Q1. Which one of the above is relevant while identifying the receiver agreement ?
Q2. What is the best way to access them from the mapping(preferably from a UDF) ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers
    danus
PS: I have tried to set "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System","ReceiverService" in Dynamic config & ReceiverService, BusinessSystemReceiver and ReceiverSystem in the Container’s Transformation Parameters, but didn't get the expected result.

    Chidambaram,
You use an enhanced receiver determination to have a mapping program determine the receivers of the message dynamically at runtime. Instead of creating the receivers in the receiver determination manually, you assign a mapping to the receiver determination and this returns a list of receivers at runtime.
A typical usage case is if you do not yet know the names of the receivers at configuration time. In this case, you can define a mapping program, for example, which reads a list of receivers from a table or from the payload of the message at runtime.
    Go through the following link:
    [Receiver Determination enhancement|http://www.****************/Tutorials/XI/RecvDetermination/Enhancement.htm]
    Hope your problem gets resolved.

  • Business service or Business system??

    Hello All,
I do get confused with respect to Business service and Business system?? What differentiates between them and when accordingly are they used??
If I am using a HTTP adapter to connect to a URL address of a 3rd party system, what would be my steps in Intergration directory involve?? I get lost in receiver determinations and interface determinations and their purpose...
    Thanks,
    Kenneth

    Hi Ken,
Basically business service will be used only for published services and not those which  have a physical landscape set up. If there is a physical landscape available then we go for business systems.
Receiver determinations talk abt the receivers available for an outbound interface and interface determination tell you abt the interfaces ( both outbound and inbound) in play and their mapping pgm involved.
Hope this was helpful and any add ons are also welcomed.

  • Multiple Business Systems for Multiple Receivers?

    hi,
idoc > xi -> multiple receivers with xml payload
I have a scenario where i have to configure multiple receivers for each Supplier from an IDOC. All the receivers will be either HTTP or SOAP.
When the mapping would be the same for all the Suppliers but during configuration we have to determine the receiver based on an IDOC value to route the xml via HTTP or SOAP
For this to achieve do we have to create multiple business systems for each receiver?
If i create a receiver in the business service how can we determine the interface mapping in this scenario?
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Hi Tirumal,
<i>For this to achieve do we have to create multiple business systems for each receiver?</i>
As you know,Business system is a logical name for the Techincal Systems, Theoretcially it is not required to create different Business systems for the each receivers.
Generally Business Systems are grouped/created based on the Business Process/Functionality/Type of Receivers etc.
So if you think, your each receiver is of type different type/process then create different Business systems.
    It depends~
If you create Business Service, then you need to add your Message Interfaces explicitly into the Business Service( By open the Business Service->You can see the Sender/Receiver Interface tabs).
    Hope this helps,
    regards,
    moorthy

  • Renaming Business System in SLD?

    Hello All,
I'm wondering if there exists an Option to rename a Business System inside SLD. It should be renamed in Receiver Determination, etc. on the Integration Builder as well.
In SLD I could rename a BS with "Administration/Content Maintenance". But what happens to the Directory if I would do so?
Does anybody have any experiences with that?
    Regards,
      Marc

    Hi Sarvesh,
using the configurator in the Integration Directory will save some time. After reimporting the Business System you let the configurator reconfigure receiver determinates, interface determinations and so on.

  • No Business Systems refresh in Integration Directory

    Hello,
I'm working with an installation of XI NW 7.0 SR3 ABAP+JAVA on Windows
    MSSQLServer.
I've created many outbound and inbound interfaces and imported idocs
too in a specific software component.
I've imported the busines system linked to the software componed in
Integration Directory but it didn't contain the I/O interfaces nor
    imported idocs.
Result of this is that when I try to use Condition in Interface
    Determination this error occured:
    Problem loading Schema Description.
Message interface does not exist in any software components installed
    on this business system.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks a lot,
    Fabrizio

    Hi,
If you get the following msg while selecting the BS in Receiver Determination
"Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
    1) Open ID-----Double click on Business system that which u are using in the scenario
    2) Check whether you are able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB
    3) If it is not there means goto SLD----Open the Technical System of R/3 by choosing Web as ABAp type
    4) Click on Installed Products TAB
    5) Click on Add New product and add your Product of the SWC whcih you are using for developement and Save it
    6) Then goto Business systems TAB in the same Technical systems window and click on the Business System appears in the window.
    7) Click on Installed products and Check the check box of your Product and then finally save that.
Now you should be able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB in ID

  • Integration directory : select IDOC interface for WAS business system

    Hi,
While adding a receiver determination for an WAS business system, I do not get any IDOC based message interface from the design repository proposed for my business system in the popup dialog.
The only interfaces that appear are for the non SAP standard SWCV that we added to the business system. But no interface for the APPL 5.0 SWCV ( or BASIS 7.0 ) appears.
In the SLD this component is correctly listed for that WAS .
If I remove all the default search criteria , eventually, the in terface appears but after selecting it I get a message saying :
"Message Interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system "
Since everything looks ok in the SLD I'm puzzled. How does this look on other systems ?
    Any ideas
( The business system was updated from APPL 4.70 / BASIS 6.40 to APPL 5.0 / BASIS 7.00 some time ago but I don't know how it look before the upgrade of the business system )

    Dirk

    Hi Bavesh,
Yes, It's correctly listed.  I did not manually link these components to the technical/business system. This happened automatically by the SLD data collector service. I also cleared the SLD cache several times,
