No buttons for Maps, Photos,News,etc.
I am running Firefox 6. I don't have any buttons at the top of the window that go to Maps, News, Photos, etc. Can I go back to an older edition of Firefox and get them back? I am running Windows XP Pro.

Thanks! It took me a couple of time to figure out what the home page button was. In v.6 it is way over to the right of the screen. Frankly I have seen it as an arrow instead of a house! Oh well now I see it as a house! The question I have now is am I still running v.6?

ECC6.0 upgrade and BW steps for mapping the new ECC6.0 source system
Hello gurus
We are upgrading from R3 4.6C to ECC6.0. We use BW 7.0 SP 18. We will create the new ECC6.0 source system in BW, replicate metadata and everything. The question is how do we copy or reassign the existing objects pointing to our current 4.6c dev system (transfer rules, transformations, infopackages, process chains) to point to the new ECC6.0 dev system ? As a note, we also need to keep the current 4.6c source system objects until go-live o ECC6.0.
What is the common practice in such a case ? I am sure we are not unique...
A prompt response would be appreciated.
Thank you all.So the plan is to copy dev R3 and upgrade that - then Q r3 copied and upgrade that - then upgrade directly prod R3?
If so - then if it were me - I would firstly prove all this in a sandbox environment where BW dev points at an upgraded sandbox R3 ecc
ie same logical system
Then once that is proved I would organise downtime of BW development for a few months whilst the d-q-p ecc happens
Then when they copy dev r43 to ecc r3 i would then just point BW dev at the new ecc box and go from there (ie clear the deltas - change the logical system name to the new ecc box - replicate meta data - transtru all the datasources - run the process chains nothign to worry about)
However if you cant afford the down time - you may have to have an alternative transport route - ie copy dev BW to a another dev bw box and have an alternative path to production for issues
Then once everything is upgraded redo the changes through d-q-p to get the transports back in line (thats what we did) -
Delete button for some photos in the moments tab is disabled
Several of my photos after the ios8 update are unable to be deleted. I select them but the trash button is disabled. If I open them individually the trash button is not there in the bottom right. Please help. very annoying.
Those are usually photos that were synced to your device from your computer using iTunes. They can only be removed by syncing them off again. Either uncheck the entire folder (windows) or event (iPhoto on a Mac) that they belong to and sync again to remove all the photos from the folder/event. If you only want to delete some but not all of them, delete them from the folder/event on your computer and sync again and those photos will be removed.

Contained in the folder Pictures/iPhoto Library/dec2013/ is:
Database/apdb/etc., etc..
That folder contains BigBlobs_apdb-journal, Faces.db_journel, History.apdb_journel, ImageProxies.apdb_journel, Library.apdb_journel, Properties.apdb_journel.
That's not an iPhoto Library, just a fragment. -
Cannot click "buy book" button for my photo book
I have gone through my photo book and it seems like there are no problems with it, there are 32 pages. Could the problem be that I don't have a credit card hooked up with my computer?
Could be
Preview the book by right clicking in the grey area outside of the book and choosing preview
Go to your Apple store acct (store.apple.com) and re-enter all of your information including credit card info and try again

I use both a PC as well as my Macbook Air and when I sync my iPhone with my PC (I connect the phone to PC) my phone (or is it my computer)? knows to import my photos and videos to a specific directory/folder on my external hard drive (I am able to tell my PC which folder to import my photos and videos to). For example, it imports all photos and videos to the external drive and organises the photos and videos by date (it creates a separate folder for each date the photos/videos were taken; I had to tell my PC to import to the default directory (external drive) when I did this for the first time, and it now creates a new folder for each date which is useful for keeping photos organised, etc.
I'd like to be able to do the same thing, using my Macbook Air, i.e., when I connect my iPhone to the Macbook air, I want my Macbook Air to know to import my photos to my external hard drive; is this possible? I am not familiar with the photo programmes on the Macbook air, but to be honest, I don't want to use them for this; I just want my photos and videos on my iPhone to import to the same folder when I use my Macbook air to sync, as when I use my PC to sync (I use my PC at work and have my Macbook at home). I'd like to be able to sync my phone when at home and not have to wait till I get to work, etc.

Full automatic Itunes synchronization impossible for a brand new Ipod touch 5th generation
Hey all,
I bought a brand new Ipod Touch 5th generation which won't synchronize my whole music library through Itunes (very latest version of the app).
The ipod runs IOS8 and the mac mini runs Yosemite latest version.
I already had issue synchronizing music the very 1st day I had the Ipod touch. As a result, went back to the Apple store for changing it for another device, thinking the Ipod was faulty, which Apple accepted and changed my device for a brand new one.
Since then, still unable to synchronize the full music library through itunes. I performed several full resets both on the mac mini and of the Ipod touch with no success. The synchronization seems to run fully normally with no warning pop up saying it failed or whatsoever and the sync process is very very long. But once done, my Ipod remains empty with no data at all.
The weird thing is that Photos are fully synchronized with no issue at all.
I contacted the Apple assistance who argued that my music library might be faulty and have corrupted files in it. So I cleaned it up, suppressing some files I had in double etc.
BUT still, no success, I had to go through the entire library to sync manually, but even then, I was able to have on the device, only half of the library, i.e. around 25 go. once the ipod display 25 to 30 gb remaining, it won't sync no more files.
Although I cleaned up the entire library and reset both devices hundreds of times, I have no clue why even manually, I'm completely unable to have my whole library automatically sync.
I spent hours on the phone with Apple assistance to get some help with no success so far. I even re-installed Itunes completely, still without any result at all.
I was only able to upload on the Ipod only half of the music library, and there are still 25 to 30 GB space remaining on the ipod and 20GB of music to be uploaded.
The automatic sync process always fails any time I try to run it, except for the photos, books etc.
I must say I also have an 160 GB Ipod classic with which I never had any problem so far, and which fully sync my whole library with no issue at all.
I read on the internet that some other users of IOS8 are accountering the same issue with itunes.
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP, I'M DESPERATE, given the price of the Ipod I really do regret I bought something that does not work properly. Quite disappointedYes the system just keep sync as everything is normal, but then no song is actually uploaded to the ipod.
And the remaining space bar shows the ipod's empty.
the automated process will just keep sync as if normal and the last step saying 'applying the modifications" just keep going on and never ends.
I was only able to upload manually half of the albums, all songs comes from different sources; ripped from CD for great part, but also downloaded from the internet from trusted websites.
All songs play normally through Itunes on the Mac Mini.
But then when trying to sync the whole library automatically, nothing happens and I only get tags of the different albums, as if there, but actually it won't play none and the Ipod player just keep skipping as if no musical data is there. -

I have created my own buttons for play, pause, exit etc. But I do not know how to create button to show closed captioning. I tried few hours but I give up. What I need to do?:
First clik - closed captioning will appear
Second clik - closed captioning will disapear.
And so on appear/disapear/appear/disapear

These will be reversed-charged texts from Premium Rate nos. you may have inadvertently subscribed to via Web or TV. EE are not obliged to refund you but you may complain to the Premium rate regulator PhonepayPlus or the firm itself. You can check out those nos. yourself on that site.
You could try texting STOP to the number, but it may cost and may not work. -
I have a problem, my wife has an ipad with photos , emails etc etc, she has recently got herself a new iPad Air, has now been using that for two or more months, more photos (new) more emails and other stuff. What she wants to do is get all she wants from ipad 1 to new ipad without finishing up with 2 of everything which happen on previous occasion. I realise that she needs to tidy up ipad 1 first and get rid of thousands of emails etc. I need help.

When we did iPhone thru same process finished up with two of most things pics and emails. The emails alone were over 2 thousand and wife reluctant to delete them all. I would and just sort pics. How can I set up two iPhones with the same contact, photos, music etc... but a different sim card and phone number. They will both be my phones, but one will be for use in other countries.
Phone A = phone with information you want duplicated
Phone B = phone that you want to copy from A
Backup Phone A.
Wipe Phone B using these instructions. What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Phone B should be on the 'Hello' screen. Do not swipe it. Launch iTunes. Plug in Phone B.
When iTunes asks if you want to set up as new phone or restore from backup, choose restore from backup of Phone A.
After this setup, any changes to one phone (i.e. adding a contact, downloading an app) will have to be manually duplicated on the second phone, if that is your desire). Making changes to one phone will not affect the other after setup. -
Recently I updated iTunes on my PC and now the "Summary" for syncing my iPhone with iTunes no longer appears near the top of my iTunes window. "Summary" lists items I can sync such as "Music, Photos, Apps", etc with drop-down boxes I can use to manage how I sync those items. An icon for my iPhone does appear near the top right corner of the iTunes window; however, when I click on the icon, the sync automatically begins and there is no display of what is syncing or how much space has been used or how much space is left for syncing music, photos, apps, etc. The new iTunes window no longer lists "Devices" on the left-hand side of the window. Has anyone had the same issue?

I am getting my phone sent away to be serviced. So i want to back up all my photos, contacts, etc wo when
I recieve a new phone i can just continue on.You should be syncing wverything with your comptuer regularly. It should all be there.
Contacts should be in whatever program you have chosen to sync ( Outlook or address book for example). Sme for calendars.
All of your itunes content should always be in itunes and included in your regular backup of your computer.
Pics synced to iphone from your computer should be on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer..
Pics taken with iphone should be imported to your comptuer regularly as with any digital camera.
Why would everything not be on your comptuer?

I have Mac computer, with Mtn Lion upgraded to Yosemite OS. The InDesign program crashes every time I try to delete or add a page to my document. My other documents seem to be OK.
