No calendar entries in icloud (mobileme migration)

Hi All,
Ever since performing the migration from MobileMe to iCloud, all my calendar entries are missing!  During the process, I definitely selected the Calendar to be included.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Calendar entries for the next two days are shown. If there are none, you wont see any.

  • I just lost my contacts and calendar entries through icloud, how do i get them back?

I read that the space being used up on my iphone can be from having iCloud backups on. So I turned them all off and thought when it said to delete the contacts and calendar eltries it mean the back up being stored on the phone, not the actual contacts and calendar entries. Can anyone help me to restore these items?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
It sounds like you are turning off syncing (settings > iCloud) rather than back ups.
    Try turning them on again.

  • TS3999 Duplicate calendar entries in iCloud

I am really struggling with duplicate entries within iCloud.

    zaheadblader,
Follow the Resolution steps in: iCloud: Resolving duplicate calendars after setting up your calendar application for iCloud Calendar.

  • Not all calendar entries sync with icloud

Because Mavericks no longer allows you to sync Outlook calendar entries directly to iOS devices, I've started using the Mavericks calendar. But not all of my calendar entries sync to iCloud and I don't know why. If I make a calendar entry in Calendar it syncs to iCloud.com just fine. If I make a calendar entry in iCloud it syncs to Calendar on my Mac. But if I send an external invite to my mail account, it creates a calendar entry in Calendar but DOES NOT sync to iCloud.com. I would have expected my local Mac Calendar and my iCloud.com calendar to be identical, but all of my external invites are missing from iCloud.com but present locally. Can anyone explain why? I can't find anything on forum searches similar to this.
    Thank you.

    Try this...
Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars.  Scroll down to Calendars and set "Sync" as desired.

  • ICloud not syncing Contacts or Calendar events on iOS 5 devices after MobileMe migration

On either of my devices (iPhone 4 and iPad 2) I cannot get my contacts or calendar events to appear correctly, both devices crash the contacts or calendars apps when I access them.
I first upgraded to ios5 and iTunes 10.5 (Which bricked my iPhone 5 times in a row with error 3012)
I then migrated from MobileMe to iCloud and all of my Contacts/Calendars are appearing correctly online at iCloud.com.  However my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 will simply refuse to sync with the contacts and calendars...
My iPhone and iPad literally freeze when I try disable the iCloud services, I have restored both devices numberous times and started the iCloud service in MANY different steps.  I have even used both my mac and PC to restore my devices.
I have been trying to fix this for two days now, I am extremely disapointed with iCloud, and I sorely wished I had of stayed with my MobileMe service.  I initally thought this would be server contact issues, but there HAS to be something wrong with my devices, or sync services.
Surely other users have encounted this error, I would love to know the strategies used to resolve this.

I thought I might post here and update my solution thus far..
    1. Restored my iPhone 4 and iPad 2, and did not select iCloud.
    2. iCloud working fine on the macbook pro, so I exported my contacts from iCloud to the vCards.
    3. Turned icloud contacts off on my macbook pro (iCloud calendars remained on)
    4. Synced iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with my macbook pro
    5. now my iOS 5 devices sync my contacts and calendar locally with my macbook pro
    6. Turned on iCloud only for my email, notes and documents.
Word to the wise: Stay clear of iCloud, WAY too many issues, especially for MobileMe migration customers.

  • Calendar not syncing after ios5/MobileMe/iCloud update/migration

Since updating to ios5 my iPad2 calendar is not syncing with my other devices/iphone(4ios5). Settings same as on my iPhone, but still not pushing or fetching new events to/from iPad2 calendar. tried deleting iCloud account from ipad2 and reinstating, but same calendar returns without any new events that were created on my iPhone which is the same iCloud account.
    Any suggestions?

    Hey Bo Lundby Jaeger,
I'd try out the troubleshooting steps in the following document. There's some steps within that might help resolve the Evernote issue as well:

  • Calendar entries made on iPhone not showing up on mobileme or iCal

When I add an entry to my calendar on my iPhone, it shows on the iPhone, but not on the iCal or mobileme calendars. When I try to manually sync it, using iTunes, everything on my iPhone calendar disappears and when I restore it, the items I had added to the iPhone that were not on the other calendars are gone.
I tried various methods suggested in the discussion forum under "mobile me" syncing issues, such as deleting mobile me from my iPhone and recreating it, migrating the iCal to mobile me, etc., but nothing works.
It was working fine until I updated my iTunes software. I have everything in iTunes checked that I should have checked. Anyone have any suggestions? Items put on the mobile me or iCal do show up on the iPhone, just not vice versa. Thanks.

    Hello, benji0023.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This sounds like you may have another over the air account similar to iCloud enabled on your device.  Most mail hosts, like Gmail and Yahoo, offer a similar feature to iCloud.  You can check to see if one is enabled by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and go through each mail account on the device for the calendar setting set to on.  If you turn off these features you may remove some calendar entries as it sounds like they may be set to default.  You can also change the default calendar under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars to iCloud.

  • IPhone calendar entries disappeared from the iPhone when I moved to iCloud on my iMac...

I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud on my iMac, which runs Lion.  I have an iPhone 3G (not 3GS), so I can't upgrade to iOS5.  I know that my iPhone Calendar won't sync with iCloud; however, all the calendar entries iPhone calendar entries have disappeared.  I thought that all entries made up to the time of moving to iCloud are supposed to remain on the iPhone calendar, and subsequent to moving to iCloud, I'd have to make calendar entries in iPhone manually (with not sync with iCloud possible).
What happend to all my calendar en

Thanks Winston, after I posted the question I went into iTunes to sync and update the iPad and it came to me that I should be able to change the credit card info here.. and I could.  I realize I cannot use the iCloud on my iMac, but right now I cannot purchase and new computer and the current one is too old to handle the memory requirements of Lion.  Again, thanks for your help.

  • Since iCloud my calendar entries double triple or even more

Ever since Icloud, everytime I enter an event it doubles, or triples the event.  This occurs even with all but one of the calendar types checked.  I would love to just delete those other types of calendar because I dont need 5 types of calendars.  Things were working great until Icloud dammit Steve lol

The same thing happens to me.
My problem started with MobileMe where I would get multiple contacts AND calendar events.  I got rid of MobileMe, but made the mistake of trying out iCloud.
When iCloud came along I have over hundred of the exact same calendar entries!  And it takes forever to delete the duplicates.  I have since given up on wasting hours cleaning up my main calendar on my Mac.
However, I did notice one thing before turning off the option in settings to sync iCal with iCloud.  There was a note saying that iCal is syncing via Micrososft Exchange server????????
I got rid of my PC so that I don't have Microsoft's crappy software screwing things up.
So is iCloud in cahoots with Micrososft?  Is that why it doesn't work?

  • Installing Maverick on my Mac lost almost all of the calendar entries. They are still on my iPhone and new entries move freely to both devices via iCloud. How do I get the entries from my iPhone to iCloud without losing them from iPhone?

Like many others after I installed Maverick I found that all the calendar history has been lost and most of the forward info has also been lost. Also in order to get calendar, contacts and notes to sync with the iPhone I have had to move to iCloud. Contacts and notes sync fine. new calendar entries sync ok. My iPhone has all the calendar entries that were on the Mac before I installed Maverick. So far iCloud has not overwritten them nor have they synced onto iCloud.
How can I get all the entries from my iPhone onto iCloud, without losing the only copy of my calendar from my iPhone?
Thanks Apple for deciding to take over my privacy. I do not want this data stored on a US based server. Fortunately Mail still syncs via my own email provider. I guess Apple will find a way to stop that soon too!

    Greetings Nefertiti72,
It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. I have linked to a knowledge base article which provides more information about iCloud contacts syncing:
Get help using iCloud Contacts - Apple Support
Learn what to do if you’re having issues using iCloud Contacts. For example, you might make changes to Contacts that don't update across all of your devices.
You may want to consider importing the contacts from the email account you removed. You can do it easily by following the steps in this article:
    iCloud: Import a vCard
You can import an electronic business card, also called a vCard, into iCloud Contacts. If the vCard contains contact information for more than one person, each contact becomes a separate entry.
In iCloud Contacts, choose Import vCard from the Action pop-up menu , which appears at the bottom of the All Contacts list or a list of group contacts
    Select a vCard to import.
The contacts from the vCard are added to the All Contacts group in Contacts. You can add the contacts to any other group by dragging them to the desired group.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • I recently updated to IOS6 and I cannot sync my calendar to icloud and all my notes are not appearing in cloud.  If I have a new calendar entry, it is on my phone, but not on icloud.   Need help making sure I don't lose any informaiton.

I recenly updated to IOS6.  I have a couple issues after the process.
1- I lost all my calendar entries after the date I upgraded to IOS6 (all before the date were there).  I created an icloud account to assure that I would not lose any going forward.  Now when I enter a calendar entry, it does not appear on my icloud account.  I can enter it in icloud and it will appear on my phone, but not the reverse.
2 - None of my notes transferred into icloud.  I tried to manually enter one on icloud, again so I wouldn't lose this information going forward, and it appears on my iphone twice.  I cannot figure out how to get the notes currently on my iphone into my icloud account.

you need to do a backup of the old phone and then on your new phone restore from that backup

  • How do I remove duplicate iCloud calendar entries in iTunes

Hello Everyone and thanks in advance for any help on this issue!
The main issue is that in iTunes>Devices>Info>Sync Calendars, I see of Local calendars listed and also iCloud calendars listed (they show a portion of the address (CalDAV?) that they use to sync), and the issue is that I have DUPLICATE iCloud calendar entries here and I would love to remove them.
    Here is my setup:
MBP with Lion and iPhone 3G with all updates.
All of my calendars sync with iCloud (I also have an iPad, but not issue with it.) and there are no duplicate calendars or events in iCloud on the web, so this is fine.
I sync my iCloud/iCal calendars to my iPhone 3G (iOS 4.2.1) via iTunes and this is going well, so no problems here, either.
I would just like to remove the duplicate iCloud calendars from iTunes under the Info pane so as to simplify life and my understanding. Also, there are other apps (like TimeTable) that go and read the master list of calendars. So, on this app, I see ALL of the calendars by name without being able to distinguish them any other way.
Any ideas as to how I can climb inside of iTunes and remove the duplicate iCloud calendar entries?
    Thanks!
    Blessings,
    Justin

I can confirm that there are no duplicate contacts. Currently, because I use an iPhone 3G, my contacts are only being synced via iTunes, not via iCloud.
My question relates not to duplicate calendar events, but to duplicate calendar addresses (in iCloud) in iTunes' Info pane.
    Here is a pic:
So, you can see that there are 2 entries for 'Personal', each with the iCloud address (CalDAV?) attached to it. Note that one entry says, 'Personal iCld' instead of just 'Personal'. This is because I renamed all of my iCloud calendars in iCal to see if that would help me distinguish the 'working' calendars from the duplicate entries.
I would love to be able to get rid of the extra calendars in iTunes to avoid confusion. I do not have any duplicate calendar entries on any devices at this point. I think part of this is because I have deslected the duplicate calendar references in iTunes.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Justin

  • IPhone Calendar Entries No Longer Sync With iCal or MobileMe Account

I've been experiencing this for a few months now, and was hoping someone might have some ideas on how to fix this issue I am having.
Every time I enter a new entry onto my Calendar from my iPhone... those entries do not show up on either my Desktop iCal or Mobile Me account online (this used to work). However... if I enter a new entry on either my desktop or Mobile Me account... those entries do show up on my iPhone.
I do not sync my Contacts or Calendars using iTunes. That is turned off. I sync through MobileMe.
    Any help would be appreciated.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Select your MobileMe account.
Turn Calendars off for over the air syncing. A warning message will be provided indicating your MobileMe online calendars and calendar events will be deleted from your iPhone with an option to keep the calendars on your iPhone or delete from your iPhone. Select Delete from My iPhone.
Follow this by turning Calendars back on for over the air syncing.
Enter a new calendar event on your iPhone to test if the new calendar event shows up with your MobileMe online calendar and with iCal on your Mac.

  • Existing Calendar Entries not Syncing to iCloud

I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 that has five calendars.  I attempted to sync it to my iCloud account today and it only syncs one of my calendars ("Work").  The other calendars ("School", "Home" etc), show up in iCloud in the Calendars sidebar, but none of the entries do.  If I create a new event on my phone in any of the calendars, they show up and sync perfectly to the iCloud and to my new MBA (running Mavericks).  Likewise, events I create on my MBA and iCloud show up fine on my phone.  So, why are these existing entries, for all but one of my existing calendars, not syncing?  Any ideas?
I've tried toggling iCloud on and off on my MBA and my phone; signing in and out of iCloud; restarting both phone and MBA.... no luck.  My next step is the restore my iPhone, but I'd really rather not do that.  I hope someone can help!

I suggest you do the following:
Go to your old MacBook that contains these calendars, open iCal, click on each of your calendars on the left-hand side of iCal and export a backup to your desktop.  To do this, open iCal, click on the calendars one at a time, go to File>Export>Export and save to your desktop.  Then email each of these backup files to yourself.
Next, open the emails on your new MBA, double-click the attachments one at a time, and select the corresponding calendar on your MBA to import each calendar to.  This should import the calendar entries to your Mac and to iCloud.  When done, comfirm that the calendars on your Mac contain the events, and check icloud.com to confirm that they appear on your calendar there as well.  If they do, go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, turn Calendars to off, choose Delete from My iPhone at the prompted, then turn Calendars back on, and if prompted, choose Replace.  This will replace the calendars on your phone with the ones on icloud.com.
Oh, I have a good feeling about this!  I will try it out and report back in the morning.  Thank you so much!
