Close all apps in the multi-task window and try again.
1.Double-click the Home button.
2. Swipe the app's preview up to close it.
3. Preview will fly off the screen.

I would appreciate any advice you can give me - I posted the same question on the Adobe Lightroom forum to see if anyone over there knows, but since this is iPad-specific, I thought I'd ask here also:

I would like to use my new iPad3 in conjunction with my already-established Lightroom workflow on my desktop Mac. What I have in mind is to shoot in RAW (Sony SLT A-65 - 24.3 megapixels) and then, in the field, transfer my photos from the camera to the iPad3 (64GB version). On the iPad I might do some rudimentary editing - deleting duds, etc. - but I will still do all my significant editing in Lightroom on the Mac. Thus, I need to export the photos, from the iPad, in either RAW or DNG and import them into LightRoom once I get back to my office. My questions are:
Is it possible to import RAW photos into the iPad3 and either keep them in RAW or convert them to DNG?
Is it possible to export RAW or DNG photos from the iPad3 into Lightroom?
What app(s) do I need on the iPad3 to make this happen?
FYI - I am using Lightroom3, but will upgrade to Lightroom4 if that makes any difference in whether this will work or not.

Importing photos into the iPad can be done with Apple's Camera Connection Kit. The CCK consists of two adapters: an SD adapter and a USB adapter. If you do not already have the CCK, I suggest you get one whether it fits your workflow or not.
You can import Raw images in additon to JPEG (or instead of, if you only take photos in raw format.) I do not know if you can display Raw images on the iPad, and it may depend on which camera you have.
I do not have Lightroom, so do not know about its ability to import photos from the iPad. Aperture and iPhoto both have the needed import capability.
Even if your proposed workflow will work, I do not see an advantage to using the iPad as an intermediate platform. I would transfer photos directly from the camera to the iMac. You can copy them into the iPad for display purposes, but you do not have to delete them from the camera until they are safely stored on your computer.

I was asked to download the iOS on my ipad3 which then completed automatically but instead iTune with a plug-in icon came on the screen. SInce then I can't operate the ipad even after I switch it off and on again. The icon just monopolize the screen.

Ipad3 camera app not working - simple question

Hello,
I would like to take pictures with my ipad3. I installed "camera awesome". Has anyone been able to get this to work with their ipad3? It doesn't show a picture when I try to use it. When I hit the camera icon within the app, it closes the app.
I'm also open to utilizing other camera apps as long as they work with ipad3. For those that are taking pictues, what camera apps do you suggest?

Ok, So I'm the only one who has this issue with their iPad3 and there is no information on this elsewhere. I take it that my iPad3 must be a defect.
I recently tried to Skype and the video would not work with my iPad3. I will be returning it to the Apple store. I guess my camera doesn't work. Booo. LOL. Hopefully, they will supply me with a new iPad3.

I see you are having issues scanning. I'd like to help!
Does this issue occur when making a copy as opposed to a scan?
I'd recommend starting with a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

after upgrading to iOS6 I lost the camera driver of my IPAD3 ..... the message comes: "your device does not have camera"... or something similar!!! Does anyone got this problem before?

Check your Settings > General > Restrictions : should be disable > Camera: ON?
If it's correct,
do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.
If no joy, do a restore from backup using iTunes.
Lastly, do a restore as new without the backup.

Can a Shinntto camera connectin kit work on a ipad3

Just bought an ipad3 and a Shinntto camera connection kit . I have loaded a SDHC card with a file and called it DCIM,then put 4 JPEGS in it. When I connected them to my ipad 3 I get a message NO IMAGE AVAILABLE.can anyone held please . Ps I have tried another camera connection kit -and it is the same.

Probably a little late in the day, but I solved this by making sure that the sub diretcory PAN_104 (my camera is a Panasonic) inside DCIM, with the pictures in that. Also, picture names have to be in camera code eg P1040217, etc for me.
Of course, now that Apple have changed the connector on iPad 4, your Sinntto will no longer connect. Thank you Apple for shafting all of our existing technology for the sake of profit. One time Microsft used to be the bad boy!

My ipad3 w/ camera connection kit will not read my SDHC Class 10 memory card. Should I try directly from the camera or does ipad not support class 10?

Connection kit will read class 6 cards but not class 10???

I use an 8GB SDHC Class 10 card & it works with my iPad 2. Make sure the 30-pin adapter is fully seated into the side of the iPad.
Here's another way. Import the pics to your computer. Then you can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
