No Carrier

Yesterday morning my 2G iPhone lost its Carrier Signal and I can't find any Singal since then. I tried to restart the phone, I turned on an off the airplaine mode, I reinsert the SIM-card and I even restored the phone! If I start manually a Carriersearch it doesn't find ANY carrier, no T-Mobile D, no Vodafone.de, no E-PLUS, no o2 - de. It only shows "automatic" and "manual" to choose.
Before this problem it worked very fine.
I have installed the firmware 2.0.1
Tell me, what can I do to get back any Signal! I think there are some troubles with the GSM-chip in my iPhone, because there aren't any "noises" computer-speakers. Before I had a lot of them when the GSM was active.

Unofficial unlocks modify the baseband with either software or hardware in ways not intended by Apple.
Doing so can cause issues with the functionality of the baseband, which is essentially the "GSM" chip.
I would recommend contacting the maker of the unlock you used to see if they will support you now that you have voided your normal support by using their product.

Only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked can unlock it. In
this case, you must work with Telus. If they have a pay as you go
plan, activate the iPhone on Telus that way and then after
you meet whatever requirements Telus has, stop using Telus
and move the iPhone to Virgin. Or sell the iPhone to someone
who can use it on Telus.
Telus is the only one who can unlock that iPhone.

Is there any report which will give me the vendor balance carried forward and the line items during that period.

thanks for the response, but i have already tried those transactions.
FK10N will give me the periodic bal statements and NOT line items display which will also have balance carried forward.
F.41 and F.43 again gives the periodic and line items...but i want the vendor balances to be in the format given above..
like say, account statement.

Do I unlock under my itunes account first ( I now have a new iphone on this account) or set one up for her and then unlock the phone. I am worried about upsetting the new phone.

I would complete unlocking as is and then
restore as new once you know the iPhone is unlocked
Be aware Orange will process the request at their speed
one of the reasons they usually reside at bottom of User Sat surveys
will likely take weeks

I got a iphone4 from my friend ewho brought it from someone from ebay in the states
I am unable to use the phone and was told that the phone had been updated to a baseband that can not be unlocked
and that I need to contact the carrier.
How do I find out who the carrier is and is there anyway I can get it unlocked to be used in Australia?
It has a grevey sim in it and well at this point in time its just being used as an ipod.
Yes I know I should of got one from Australia but i thought it wouldnt be this hard to get it fixed to be able to use here.

If you're getting your first iPhone 5, does it have to have the same carrier as your computer and T.V. at your house? Or could you get a different, cheaper carrier instead?

After many attemps to contact you I landed here, so here is my question.
I recently bought an iPhone 4 over the internet which was locked and not yet activated.
Therefor I need to find out which carrier my iPhone is locked to so I can finally start using this thing, I will not provide my IMEI number in public for security reasons.
So is it possible to check my Carrier lock status by my IMEI / serial number? Because I think it is AT&T yet I am not sure, and I can't check it because I live in Belgium where I cannot get a hold of an AT&T sim card. The owner told me it was a dutch phone so it had to be locked with T-Mobile yet they don't seem to recognize the IMEI. The model number is MC318LL LL is coded for America as I seem to have heard.
Please do help me because I have made MANY attempts finding this out!

This cannot be determined by users with the info provided, and I'm not sure if Apple would give you this info over the phone if you called AppleCare in the U.S. - for security and privacy reasons.
You need to get this info from the seller. If the seller is unable to give you this info or the correct info, return it to the seller for payment credit and purchase an iPhone in your country from an official retailer and you will have less problems or no problems including not having to hack the iPhone to unlock it which removes all the built-in security making it insecure as with an Android phone.

Did you know that the carrier Verizon offer the merge conference call or internet while on call on the iphone? Only AT

Did you know that you can't use the merge function on a iPhone 4s with Verizon Wireless? They blocked the function only AT&T has it, also Verizon doesn't allow browsing the Internet while on a call like AT&T, huge mistake Verizon. For people that conference call, don't get tricked into changing carriers until Verizon changes this feature.

Not sure about the merging of calls, but being able to browse the internet while on a call can't be done with CDMA technology -- so it's not that Verizon doesn't allow it, it just can't be done on their network. This is old news ...

Header and footer of RTF template not getting carried over to Excel output

We have Header and Footer in RTF template defined. The output of the report will be in Excel. When we run the report, the header and footer on the report are not getting carried over to excel has header and footer, instead the header and footer are printed as first line on the excel. Also, the RTF template is set to landscape but when the output is generated in excel, it is set to Portrait

What is the difference between the three network carriers and if i am to use iPhone 5 in Bangladesh, which network carrier should i choose?

I had one confusion about the network carrier of which one to chose. Actually I do not know the difference between them. Are they related to some sort of sim cards? I would be grateful if anyone could help me to get away this confusion.

Unless we are in Bangladesh, nobody here can really help you with this. If you purchased the phone there, you need to do that research for yourself. You are the one who is there and on the spot so noone else can really help you with that.
You need to contact the available carriers in your area and see what the differences are for yourself.
The phone companies supply you with the appropriate sim cards when you take out a contract with them.
Also, where did you purchase the phone from in the first place and is it an unlocked phone? If the phone is not unlocked, then it won't work.

Data carrier & application field are not getting displayed in CV04N

In TCode : CV04N, data carrier & application field are not getting displayed.
While i compare with my IDES system, data carrier & application fields are getting displayed in CV04N.
Let me know is there any configuration that has been missed out.

Hi Bhanu,
Please note that the fields 'Data carrier' & 'Application field' are visible only if no document type is entered.
Suppose you enter a document type and press ENTER then these fields disappear. This is because the field 'Application' was designed when only the storage is archive, vault or SAP-SYSTEM was possible and the number of added originals was limited.
Currently DMS allows storage of originals on Content Server and there is no limit on the number of added originals, the system behavior was changed due to performance reasons. To avoid performance problems if you search for a document with a lot of originals attached this field gets invisible if you enter a document type which uses the KPRO storage.

My iPhone 5S was ignored to claim with Thai wireless carrier

I really confident in Apple product a lot, when Apple releases the new products I feel that I would like to be the owner of them all.
Apple is really famous in Thailand, iPhone is the top ranking of product that Thai people would like to be owned. I'm the one of these all people.
I buy iPhone 5S after it sold by Truemove-H. With confidentially in Apple product and the first Thai authorized carrier by Apple, I booked and brought it immediately.
My first unboxing of the new iPhone 5S was in Central Chiang Rai (iBeat). I have booked two iPhones. I unboxed the first iPhone (32GB) and found 2 dead pixels on screen, unfortunately the second iPhone (16GB) also have a dead pixel. Luckily, they returned me a money. This unboxing disappointed me a little bit in them of Apple product quality.
I got a call from another shop, they said that my iPhone 5s that I had booked is available. I came to the shop and unbox it, I carefully checked the dead pixels and others majority thing, nothing dysfunctional.
I decided to buy and came-back to my home until I later found that the screen is loose and I can hear the sound (the clicking sound) when I press on the top right corner of the screen.
I was worried a lot and contact to the Apple via chatting, the staff suggested me that I should to contact to the wireless carrier (Truemove H). I was not complacent to contact to Truemove Shop in Central Airport Ching Mai. I waited to talk with them around 1 hours. When was in my queue, I talked to them that How can I use my new iPhone with a loose screen? I really worried about this a lot because I should be the way it is. Truemove- H staff answer me that this kind of issue cannot be claim and return as a new phone or refurbished phone. It is still working, there is no problem with software, we could not claim this iPhone for you.
I felt disappoint again when I have heard the staff said to me like this. I felt that the Apple standard unable to use in Apple product. I think if I buy this iPhone with Apple directly it would not be a problem like this.
I would like to ask to Apple that how can I do next? I don't mind that I would get a refurbished one or not. I just worry about the standard that Apple have in each country, it quite strongly different. for the example; I can claim this in US or UK but I can't do anything in Thailand.
How can I recall my feeling and confidentiality from Apple?

You won't be able to open it on your computer, ibooks can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. How were you trying to get it to your phone, syncing it by selecting it on the iPhone's Books tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, or by dragging-and-dropping it from the Books part of your iTunes library over and onto the iPhone 'device' ? Another option is to try re-downloading it directly in the iBooks app on your iPhone via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in it (re-downloading).

If I pay the carrier such as Rogers or Telus to unlock my iPhone 4S will it be permanent?

I have recently purchased a used iPhone 4S with 5 months remaining on the 1 year warranty (not eligible for Apple Care). Buying used while everyone is upgrading to the new 5 allows me to buy into this market - already have a Mac Book - sadly, can't afford all the luxes brand new.
The phone is with Rogers but I would like to stick with Bell and if I pay Rogers the fee to unlock my iPhone (no longer under contract) will it be permanent? Do they inform Apple that my iPhone should be added to the Apple Registry.
I am asking this because while I was in Jump-Plus one of the staff said that if I accept the new ios 6 Update before I have my phone unlocked then I might have to go back and pay again to have it unlocked. Also, that the Carrier may not be able to unlock the 4S with th ios6 update. What is if any of this info is correct?
With my work I do a fair bit of travelling including overseas and I would like to have the phone unlocked for this purpose as well as to keep my old number with Bell. Not interested in contracts. I know that I could use a third party app to unlock my phone but I would want to wait until the warranty has run out in Feb 2013. After I have reset my network settings to clear a previous problem, the top left corner just stays at 'searching' and doesn't display my service carriers name as usual.

After doing the network reset on my iphone 4, the top left corner of the screen which usually displays my carriers name just keeps saying 'searching'. I have tried looking elsewhere at this site for a solution to my problems but I'm still coming up empty.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)
